He was finally going to meet other demons.
Thus far, Kuu had not steered him wrong. All of their training, everything she'd taught him and shown him was designed to make him a stronger warrior.
So he followed her out of the cave without question. They flew over the heights, zipping past the craggy surroundings where he'd spent the past week or so getting beaten half to death at her hands. Not to mention that time that insect demon tried to eat him when he lost his footing, his leg slipping into a deep crevice.
The gleaming, puckered scar of marred skin that graced his ankle was the only remnant of the demon's mandibles where it had tried to devour his leg. It was a wonder he wasn't traumatized from his experience in this hell hole.
But his time in the Dominion taught him to steel his resolve, and show no weakness.
He touched down quietly next to her, dark brow furrowed as he surveyed their modest surroundings.
"Not quite what I was expecting..." He shrugged. "For some reason, I pictured Space Vegas, but completely on fire."
She mentioned meeting up with some sort of herbalist.
"You'll... infuse me?" He arched an eyebrow. "That wasn't a part of our deal. I don't want to be infused with anything. If I don't gain power based on my own merit, how can I ever expect to get stronger?"
His jaw tensed as he turned his gaze to the dirt, gears churning in his mind.
"I've trusted you this far. I won't stop now... let's find this herb vendor. Shouldn't I have some sort of disguise, though? I don't think I could handle another fight this soon."

ICE COLD Null seemed to follow her well enough. He flew at her side, all the way to the quaint town, if you could call it that, that rested a few minutes flight away from their shelter. Kuueru inhaled sharply, her eyes focusing on Null as he spoke. "Oh yeah? A firey Space Vegas? Not quite, though there are some better parts of civilization, but they are under high guard. You see, the smarter the demons become, the stronger they usually are, and the more of a home they begin to build instead of being nomadic. Most of the demons here are all relatively strong and or smart. They have a bit more restraint when it comes to lashing out, however."Null seemed a bit off guard with her comments on infusing him. She waved her hand, her smile devilishly deceiving. "Oh, I mean, not really infusing but, igniting. The ritual will provide the spark for you to grasp magical arts with more ease. Think of it like a conduit. It won't alter you, but just make you more perceptive to energy and the magics in the air around you."The woman signed, despite her explaining the process, Null had already changed his mind just agreed to go with her. "Disguise? I mean. I could just go into my normal form huh?" With that the woman's identity melted. Her peachy skin and hair were replaced with an alabaster skin and cyan stained hair. Her body was hugged by a white armor and brilliant crimson tattoos stained her body. Upon her head, onyxian horns sprouted along with a single wing from her back, and a forked tail from her rear. She looked at Null as she plotted a disguise for the man. It didn't have to be complex, but it needed to be believable. Her hands wove a magic spell of disguise between her and the Saiyan. In the blink of an eye his body and appearance would change to something to make him blend in. A demon of sorts. "There, that's a bit better," Kuueru mumbled before walking through the dimly lit streets with the man. There were a few inns, succubae whistling outside the entrance as they walked by. There were places to trade, and even to dine. The entire atmosphere was a bit seedy, but to some it may even be homely. Finally they found a shop set up, as they walked through the beaded curtains the stench of incense drowned out the sulfuric atmosphere of the Demon Realm. The demoness stepped towards the counter, an old man with gray skin, pointed ears and two oblong curled horns sat silently behind the mahogany barrier. He was quiet, and still. Was he asleep? "Excuse me." Kuueru stated to no avail. "HEY!" She yelled for a second time, the old man stumbling to his feet. "Oh…customers. What have you?" The old man spoke towards the demoness, his tired beady eyes looking to the man behind her curiously. "I need two demon claws, a sprig of red root, and the frookenspice incense." Kuueru mumbled, her hand placing a few odd gems upon the counter. The vendor nearly jumped out of his seat before he ran off the gather the items she requested.

ICE COLD Kuueru smiled at the disguise that managed to work itself around Null. He still had a rather handsome face, though he looked a bit frail all around. It would suffice for now, at least long enough to let them make it in and out of this town without much hostility, at least she had hoped. The transactions in the herbal shop were all going well. Kuueru had barely noticed that her companion was no longer by her side. In fact, it appeared he had slipped out of the shop to get some air. A sign played on her lips, she wasn't about to be scraping him off the ground if he got into trouble. The demon behind the counter packaged up the supplies well, and the demoness with her ice-filled aura made her way out the shop. She had just started to feel a flare of energy from Null, alas, he tucked it away as she made her way to him. "Testing your strength, in enemy territory? Are you confident or do you have a death wish?" Kuueru smiled and gave the man's shoulder a tight squeeze. The demoness pointed towards her satchel where she had hidden everything away that they needed. Seems all was good to go for a ritual. "Okay okay, I thought you wanted to come sightsee, but seems you're all ready now huh? Fine. We will head back, complete this ritual, and hopefully, if you survive—" Kuueru burst out laughing, her hand slapping against her thigh. "Oh, t-that was a joke, of course you'll survive. A-As I was saying though. Afterwards you'll see the word differently, it's hard to explain, but everything around you, especially in this realm, carries some sort of magical essence." " It'll be rarer in the mortal realm, but these skills will be the basis for you learning magic of your own. I learned over centuries in my life, this ritual should accelerate your capabilities. At least, that's the aim."
The scantily clad body of the woman shifted, her eyes staring off in the direction of their shelter. There, they would perform the ritual. Just as quickly as they came, the woman returned there with Null in tow. She chose and empty spot towards the back of the cave and light some candles to set up the shindig. "It'll just take me a few to get everything ready."

ICE COLD "At least you have some patience about you," Kuueru mumbled with a smile as her demon form remained. It was an odd feeling, being as she spent most of the last year wearing the pink-haired disguise. In fact, she even slept, bathed, and went about the most intimate of her moments with the human skin. "Hah, I often think about me using a mortal disguise, does it feel right? It's become second nature to me. I should be proud to be a demon I suppose, alas, the mortal world wouldn't take friendly to me walking amongst the stays of their galaxy," Kuueru hushed her tone, her cool skin reflecting orange with the soft candlelight as they began to burn. She conjured a mortar and pestle before her and began to add some of the ingredients she had collected from earlier. Suddenly, her eyes widened at a missing though. "Oh, that reminds me," Kuueru set aside her tools and turned abruptly to the Saiyan who was now floating in the center of the cave. Kuueru could feel the energy radiating from the boy, and in it, fear. She couldn't blame him; this place was not one for the faint of heart. "Let's see you," Kuueru murmured to the boy as she now stood before his levitating body. Her crimson eyes scanned his features, her cold breath beating off his face. A single clawed gauntlet reached towards him, her fingers attempting to rest upon the top of his head. Slowly she ran her fingers down the back of his skull and through his wild locks of ebony hair. Her other hand came to rest upon his cheek as she focused. Her eyes fell shut, her energy creeping through her touch and searching the man before her. "There," Kuueru smiled and plucked a single black hair from Null's head. It was needed for the conduit. "Sorry about that, I just needed something with your energy attached," Kuueru turned her back to the man, and went about adding his hair to the bowl to continue grinding the reagents into a paste. Then, she used it to draw upon the ground. Something resembling a pentagram was made in the red liquid upon the cave's stone floor. Then, Kuueru too a seat outside of the circle and motioned for Null to join her. When he sat, she would mark his cheeks and forehead with the remainder of the paste. "I think we're all set to start. Just a warning, it will be overwhelming once you get this power. Anything and everything magical will flood your sense. It may take a few days to weeks to grow used to it, but here in the Demon Realm you'll more than likely progress faster with your new abilities."Then, the woman took a meditative position on the floor. Her mouth opened, and she began to mouth words that seemed to make no sound. The candles in the room switched hue, turning to an eerie azure as her voice in the demonic tongue grew louder and louder.

ICE COLD The ritual, while brief, seemed to stretch on for an eternity within the mind of the person being transformed. There was not a doubt in Kuueru's mind that the pain that Null was enduring was lengthy, excruciating, and terrifying. Still, the woman kept on chanting, bits of the demonic energies in the air lifting away and infusing into the man's body bit by bit. It appeared as if all was going according to plan. The effects of the ritual outwardly showing upon the Saiyan's body confirmed that the ritual was well underway. Her cold gaze sat on Null, his body twisting and turning with the dark influence that crept into his very cells. While she may have told him earlier his strength would be his own and infusing was the wrong word, it was probably the most accurate. While this would allow the man to be more attuned to magic, Kuueru would be lying if she didn't at least implant a seed of demonic reckoning within Null's very soul. Her plump lips curled into a grin as the light shot forth from the man's orifices. Yes. It was all going according to plan. The crude pentagram upon the floor began to illuminate and the walls seemed to shake at the power that was steadily warping and growing within Null. Kuueru's own power began to rise, perhaps she was eager that things were going to plan, and the man hadn't lost control and simply turned into a mindless demon yet. Alas, the ritual was done, and with it, Null flew from the cavern in a mad dash. "Hmm, yes young Null. You feel it?" Kuueru mumbled to herself in the cave before staggering to a stand. The one-winged demoness shot forth after the man, her crimson eyes scanning the various spires and crags for where he had fled. Of course, with such a vast power awakening within him, it was obvious. Lightning struck, avoiding the woman from her pure aura alone. Kuueru cast her gaze towards the man, his appearance shifting as he took on what could only be a new transformation. It was form in which she hadn't seen a man of his race inhabit. His hair flickered to a lush rose, his eyes lightening as well. The aura around him reeked of demonic and mystic energies, whatever this man had taken on was a mixture of both his demonic and Saiyan powers. Something unimaginable yet terrifying to look at and comprehend. The demoness marked the confidence in his gaze. He was. . . different. He was nothing. He was everything. He was Null. A slight bit of laughter played heavy on her lungs. The demoness looked at what she had helped create for the past few weeks in this hell hole. A perfectly molded construction of man and something more sinister. She was exhilarated. "You seem content my dear," Kuueru called out, her body hovering down to meet his own. The smile on her lips portrayed her happiness excellently. This man, this rich power, all of it pleased her deeply. She could see how much he was satisfied with the gift bestowed upon him as well. "I'm impressed your body took the ritual so well, that says something about your inherent ability and latent strength. I'm sure the years of training with your former school did you well Null. Now, you're to train harder than ever, you're to prove the naysayers wrong. You're to make me satisfied." Kuueru, the horned demoness, crossed her hands under her tattooed chest with a sinister grin. She thought to herself for a long while of the actions and future of her and the pupil she had worked with so closely. While her goals and ambitions amongst the mortals were fleeting and ever-changing, perhaps it was time for something new in this universe. Something to asset their dominance.

ICE COLD Kuueru's expression was nothing but pure happiness. Not only with the good she did for Null and his strive for power, but the fact that her own abilities had grown enough to allow her to do just that. She clenched her fist eagerly, though, Null's words lingered in the air with a lustful tone. She didn't break her gaze from his, no, in fact it remained steady. She wanted him to know just what this gift of power meant, and how it tied the two together. "Very well, I expect great things from you Null, I expect no failures."
The sensual mood of his voice sent shivered up the woman's spine. Still, Null asked further, what he could do to please her. Now, her gaze faltered. Inside the demoness didn't even know what she wanted herself. Alas, his snaking hand reached towards her. Tantalizing fingers broke through her aura, invading her space to meet her long locks of cyan hair. She hesitated, her gaze still fixated on the gaping crag below them. Luckily, words came to break the barrier of silence that filled the void between them. A low sigh pressed from her lips as Null mentioned a demonstration of his own power and wrath. "I-I suppose that would be in order," The demoness spoke in a low voice, her hand reaching up to touch his own as it ran through the river of mane. She gave his hand a good squeeze before pulling away from his touch. She was rather solemn, her eyes scanning the landscape as she tried to think of where to find the prey. Though, she was still worried of the effects of the ritual, and the Saiyan fighting a demonic lord who would be exemplary with magical arts. The woman's aura burst to life around her, and she was off. Several ruins dotted the demon realm, some abandoned, some 'seemingly' empty. There was always a great threat lurking in those places though. They made for excellent evil hideouts for lesser demons who served a higher power. Kuueru touched down upon the dusty ground before a rather large temple. The air around the place was sickening, causing even the demoness to grow wary of the area. She cleared her throat, noticing not only several smaller levels of power within the area, but something much more massive. Kuueru turned to Null, pointing towards the temple which almost resembled a mortal place of worship. "There is a Demon Lord here, I am unsure of his name as that title is constantly shifting between whoever is the strongest around. Clear it all, everyone, everything. Smite them into the dirt, and I shall be utmost pleased." Kuueru let the words trail from her lips with her own suggestive tone. Alas, as they made their way into the temple, several pig faces demons brandishing basic weapons of hammers and swords jumped to protect their territory.

ICE COLD She found herself lost in a moment alongside of this newly formed demonic infused man. Lost not only in her creation, but her own soul. She had to shrug such feelings for now. Despite her connection and time spent with Null, the Demon Realm wasn't the time nor the place to explore such intimate moments. Not when this man just opened up a new power he was so eager to unleash. In fact, Kuueru was rather interested in seeing his blight ravish the land of demons as well. She could only hope that him taking control of this power would come with ease, and only time would tell her such. The demoness gazed upon the snorting and riled up pig demons who all clamored around the newly transformed Null. His gaze was fixated upon them with the most sinister glare. It made Kuueru smile, her hands now resting upon her wide hips as she listened to him. "I wouldn't ask you to do something if it didn't please me Null."Kuueru responded with a somber voice, and at her command the man was off. He moved with fluidity that was nearly triple his original speed when they first came to this place. Not only was his speed greatly increase, his power output, his sense, everything all around had been upgraded with this new form. He knocked out foe with ease, Kuueru was almost a bit disappointed that he didn't finish them off quickly, it wasn't until he made his comment with a raging orb of power in his hand did Kuueru realize just how much he read her mind. She took a few steps forward, joining the man's side as he threw the blazing fireball towards the still living bodies. The fire stirred them to consciousness only to have them scream for a few moments before the lack of oxygen took them to their graves. Flesh bubbled, blistered, and melted away revealing the several layers of fat and bone underneath in a matter of minutes. "Jeez, you know I won't eat their filth. Remind me to have you take me for a real meal once we leave this place. I'm hungering now." Kuueru sighed with exasperation plaguing her tired voice. Alas, there was something else in this temple of hell waiting to seek its vengeance for its mongrel crew. A beastly roar filled the air and shoot the very ground around them. "You think I wouldn't give you a real challenge Null? I just had to tease you first, let you get a taste of what it's like to unleash such a power, don't fret. This should be a good one," Kuueru nodded towards the Saiyan before flying towards the entrance of the temple. Inside all seemed relatively small. Though, there was a single stairwell straight down to nothing but darkness. It stretched on for a good few hundred feet before revealing an enormous underground dwelling. It seemed to sprawl out for miles, the darkness around them the only leaving one to guess how deep it went. The woman summoned a ball of light in her hand and shot it forth towards the middle of the room. It just so happened to be where the roaring grows had come from. "Oh ho ho ho, it's Bahamut," Kuueru sounded giddy at the thought. Then, the walls began to shake, sediment fell from the ceiling, and the growling seemed to grow louder and louder. Kuueru forced a bit more energy into her light, and it exploded. It would be blinding for a moment, but then, everything in the room was visible. Bones scattered the ground, both of this demon lord's men and its prey. This gargantuan beast just fed and conquered. The roaring dragon of a creature stood upon it's back legs, it's massive wing span spreading to intimidate the paid. "Who are you? Why do you disturb me here? Do you have a death wish?" The voice roared out, it's golden orbs setting on the pair. It shot forth a massive azure ball of energy at the pair. Kuueru phased from view and appeared behind her companion with a single claw pointing towards Bahamut. "There's your target Null. I do beg you, make it entertaining, I'll reward you handsomely."

ICE COLD Kuueru's hair shot forth after the reverberation from the massive fireball. It would indeed be an interesting fight if Bahamut could keep up and provide a nice fight for the Saiyan. The demoness chuckled as Null dare put his back to the enemy, he spoke of immortality, something that even Kuueru couldn't offer him. Alas, he was off, flying off towards the beast slinging his barrage of energy blasts. While they staved it back, it was nothing to the heavily armored and magically reinforced beast that stood before them. Her crimson gaze shot to and from, watching each exchange with a deadly focus. She wanted to note ever move Null made against and to avoid this mega dragon. Perhaps if he was lucky he may even impress the woman. At least, she hoped he would. She wanted her efforts in training him to prove fruitful. Finally, Bahamut made a hit on the annoying bug that was Null flying around his head. His tail slammed into the man, hurling his body into a stone wall. "Ohh, that one looked like it stung, you should try not to do that again Null," Kuueru offered a bit of advice for the man, though by now it was less than helpful. Meanwhile Bahamut was angry. His roar shook her eardrums and its heavy steps made the entire cavern feel as if it were about to cave in. The beast dug its claws into the dirt and stone below, and then it stared the man dead on. Its maw opened, and a giant beam of energy began to accumulate within its mouth. The azure energy swirled and hurled before it shot a massive energy beam towards Null and Kuueru. She acted quickly, her body shifting before Null's. She pressed her hand to his chest, and in an instant, they were behind the beast. Kuueru smiled to her comrade, her tired eyes looking towards him then Bahamut. "Well, I would prefer it if you just went ham on him now. Or were you not? Were you giving it your all?"

ICE COLD Kuueru looked to Null, who blatantly admitted he was indeed holding back. Perhaps she did want a show, but the man's actions were way too convincing. For the briefest of moments, the demoness worried that she would have to intervene and aid the Saiyan, alas, it was clear that he could handle himself, especially with his new powers. "I see, you are quite the actor then, you had me fooled." Kuueru chuckled under her breath while the surging of power overtook Null's form. She watched eagerly. Bahamut was no pushover, in fact he was one of the more powerful demon lords in the area. Taking him down would not only submit Null as a threat and worthy challenger, but prove he had complete control over his powers. Null moved with an insane speed, perhaps even rivaling the demoness's own movements. She struggled to keep her eyes on him, as did the demon lord. Still, he overtook the beast, his flurry of attacks staggering Bahamut and sending him reeling. Still, Null had the confidence to taunt him when he was down. Not only that, he wasn't finished with his pummeling of the dragon creature. "Interesting," Kuueru observed quietly the man's fists flying into the beast at varying angles and speeds. He wouldn't be up for much longer, and even then, Null professed his undying pride for his race, for the Saiyans. Then, he finished it. Kuueru held up a forearm to brace from the powerful recoil from Null's energy blast. A magical barrier shielded her body from the concussive force. She let it down as Null approached her, his normal appearance returning. He gazed at her, her own crimson eyes not daring to avert his own. "To be honest, I haven't been completely honest with you," Kuueru spoke in a somber tone about Null painting her as a tyrant, a demon, and a merciless killer. She could count on one hand the number of people she had killed in the past year, one of them was her own ally and a threat to the galaxy. She was no tyrant, in fact, her original goals had shifted greatly from her escape of the Demon Realm. He moved closed. Kuueru held her breath, Null professed his words with conviction and a love of his heritage. Kuueru nodded her gaze softening. Her features shifted, back towards the pink haired woman she used as a disguise. She stepped even closer, her hand slinking up his tattered gi before it snaked around the back of his neck. She paused for a moment, her supple lips quivering before she spoke. "I am fine with that, so long as you're fine knowing I am not just some ordinary demon, but a god." Kuueru let her eyes flutter shut as an ethereal aura floated from her normally chilly presence. Everything about her shifted to warm and inviting. Even the breath that beat against his nose and lips was a hot and humid shift that raised the very skin with goosebumps. She would abide to Null's wishes. In fact, she admired his change of focus. Caring about his people was certainly something to care for beyond power, a steadfast goal. Her body shifted, her chest pressing to his as her fingers danced along the nape of his dark hair. "We should leave this place now, I think you've learned about all that I can teach you anyhow," Kuueru spoke softly, her lips pushing forwards to melt into his cheek. With that, they were gone. Their bodies hurling back through the dizzying space and time until their feet pressed into the lush field, and where the desecrated tree once stood.
