[OOC: I imagined we were thrown in a random dimension. To lengthen the thread I figured we could do several hops, needing to gather the supplies and materials to repair the ship to get back home.]
That was actually a rather good idea. Dain had heard about the vast funds the Ravagers controlled, but he had never considered spreading that Wealth around. Actually that was rather brilliant. Especially considering the fact that it would not cost them a single thing. They would actually just steal money and spread it around as if it was their own, to buy some goodwill.
Dain did not notice however that suddenly XiangoΒ΄s eyes grew bigger and began to tremble quite heavily.
βYou are rightβ¦ Petey what is it you want?β Dain asked as he sad down and reached for his glass, only to notice the liquid inside was almost sloshing over the edges. He had been so exited he had barely noticed the ship shaking, but suddenly he was quite aware. βPetey! What is going on? Are we under attack?β He asked sharply as he began to dash towards the control chair.

A moment later the ship began to shake and Xiango let out a groan as if he suddenly realized something. βOh that bitchβ¦ she knew this would happen, so she would not joinβ¦β The beast muttered under his breath, soft enough the two warriors could not hear him. Pete, the AI though did hear, but she was currently unable to do something. She was far too busy trying to fight the inevitable.
As only an AI could, she was doing literally hundreds of adjustments a millisecond. Ranging from correcting movements to stabilize the ship, to trying to adjust the broken drive on the fly. Sadly it was of no use.
The experimental drive that had been created for this trip was malfunctioning. It even was mostly not her fault. The kamikaze action the two had pulled by charging the enemy fleet had already knocked it around pretty badly. She had managed to patch it up well enough to reach their destination eventually, but it had been in bad shape. Then on the planet she had been forced to make several short hops to gather the parts needed for the cage to contain the beast and⦠well okay she might have cannibalized a few parts to create the cage. That might have been on her. However Sly´s decision to fire up the engine and just jump back, blew the remaining safety controls out of the window. The fact that they actually arrived in one piece was a miracle in the first place.
Now however it was shot and the dimensions were somehow leaking directly from the drive. Theoretically something that was impossible, but it was happening and they were being pulled back in.
As the ship began to shake so violently Dain was thrown of his feet, she gave up. A minute ago she might have been able to evacuate the ship, but her captain had shut her up and now it was too late. βSay goodbye to Kansas, Gracieβ¦β She spoke over the ships speakers, before she gave up the resistance and let it happen. A blue wave of energy expanded from the dimensional drive, until it completely covered the entire ship. It pulsed for a moment and then the energy retracted, like water through a drain, sucking the ship with it.

βWhat the fuck just happened?β Dain asked confused as he finally managed to get back up his feet, after the ship finally stopped shaking so violently and eventually came to a rest.
To his surprise the AI did not respond. Quickly he looked out of the window, only to see they were not orbiting SlyΒ΄s ship anymore. βSly, could you check out the computer and figure out where we are?β Dain said resolute as he began to run. He had a terrible feeling about this and he wanted to know why the AI wasnΒ΄t responding. βI need to check up on Pete!β He said with a serious look on his face, just as he dashed through the door.
As much as he cared for the AI, that was not the reason he was in such a hurry. From the window he saw they were in the proximity of a star and if the AI was truly down, there was nobody steering the ship. Which meant there was a good chance they would be drawn in by the gravity.
Now it was true he had been meaning to take a nice vacation and get a tan, but this might be a bit overkill.

Meanwhile the drunken woman appeared on the bridge of DainΒ΄s ship. She was immediately noticed by the crew, but before even one could raise the alarm or raise a gun, she tapped her staff on the floor and everything just froze. Even the AI did not make a beep, as the woman casually walked towards the well stocked liquor cabinet on board the Atrioch and pulled several from the rack they were being stored in. βWell this might just last me, until they get back.β She said with a happy smile on her face as she clacked her tongue and then walked back to DainΒ΄s chair, the bottles tightly wedged under her arm.
With a sight she sank down in the comfortable chair, threw her feet lazily up on the table and uncorked a bottle. Next she graciously waved a hand and a glass ball appeared in front of her. βSo letΒ΄s see where they are now.β She said with a grin as an image appeared in the orb, just as she took a big sip from the bottle in her hand. βHmmm oh that is not good. It seems there chances of success have dropped to thirty seven percentβ¦ or is that their failure rate?β She asked herself a bit confused as she looked at the orb and the deep code behind it, as only she could. βPerhaps I should have picked up that course of probability calculus back in schoolβ¦β She talked to herself as she tapped the orb several times, trying to understand what those figures actually meant.
The numbers did not change though and neither did her understanding of them, so in the end she simply shrugged, sat back and emptied the bottle. At the very least this probably was going to be more interesting then day time TV.
Now that was not all that difficult to be honest, considering the quality of day time TV. If it had already been bad in the time of Goku and Vegeta, the next six hundred years had not brough any relief. Perhaps only made things worse.
