Dain remembered it all too well. It was one of his more recent memories and one of the best he had. Of course there might be plenty still residing in his written memories, though he no longer could actively remember them. It was the problem of living far too long. His body might have been immortal and he suffered no brain degradation, but the storage of his memory was still that of a mortal. By the time he started noticing it, already decades had begun to fade and since then he made it a habit of writing down his memories. In a very secret location he had a small library with golden banded books, containing what he did over the years. Occasionally he would come there, take a bottle of whiskey and read his own memories, with a good cigar. Literally having a little bit of Dain time for himself.
He could not actually remember where he got the idea for the diaries from. Nor could he exactly pinpoint how old he was when he started them. By the time he had started to write though he already made no mention of a childhood and simply wrote vague indications of time. Naturally he had been improving his writing when he found out how seriously flawed that was. Since then he took quite a bit of precise accuracy to write down time stamps and how long things tended to take place. It was actually quite fun to see how his diaries got better over time. The first few books seemed to be a rambling drunk -he could not actually disclude that possibility, he had always had a weakness for liquor- yet over time they got more organized.
By the time he written an entire bookcase full of them, he had actually begun keeping two different journals. The first was simply a colorful story, in which he mixed a bit of poetry and finer writing, with his facts. Making reading them almost as if he was reading small novels. He began including smaller details like how the paint of the facade was slowly fading or how the smell tickled his nose. He had even enrolled apparently in several writing courses. In the end it resulted in some quite pleasant reading and he had even published a few of his journals.
Not as journals of course and not under his own name. No under Pseudonym he had been bringing out some of his older journals, disguising them as thriller novels or fantasy books. Aside from actually changing the names and a few locations that could lead back to him, there was surprisingly very little to edit and he had made quite a mint in the universe. Although the most criticism he was getting was that his adventures were too far fledged. Like his most recent novel that he recently sold. It was about his main character, a fictional bounty hunter, set to capture a rogue on a space station. From there on out so many things happened, including the rogue turning into a possum as they traveled through a black hole. It was selling pretty well, but some of the more hardcore criticisms in the universe were claiming he was starting to use drugs and out of his mind as he wrote these. Those comments always made him chuckle, as he did leave out some of the really weird stuff in that book.
In any case the second set of journals was a more accurate depiction, focusing more on the actual facts and cold hard fact. It was boring to read, but quite helpful if he really wanted to know something.
As a matter of fact he was already pondering right now how he could turn this adventure into a book and wondered what else was in store for them. He could turn almost any adventure into a good story by now.
The ones with Sly though was by far the best though he could still remember. At the time he had a wife, two children and was working for the Earth military. He could barely remember the how and why, but as it was with all things, he lost all of that once again.
Yet in return he got the friendship with his friend and it was not something he could possibly claim to regret. Since then so many things had happened and from what he had read, Sly might have been the first true friend he had in centuries. It was not just the drinking and smoking, it was much more then that. He had been the reason why Dain had stopped actively pursuing to undo his immortality.
“Yeah I do remember.” He said with a genuine smile for once, as he looked at the small raccoon. It had indeed been wondrous how far they had both come. Amazing perhaps even. They both attained so much power and conquered so much… “I am actually just worried, this won´t even be a challenge anymore.” Dain said as a grin turned on his face, remembering the last time they had fought the monster. Sure it had been incredibly powerful, but compared to back then, they had grown to be monsters in their own right.
“No worries and thanks.” Dain replied as he grabbed the cigar casually from the air and to make his point he gave the AI a new direct order. “Peet from now on you are to override protocol Gappa 01. Sly will be counted as fellow captain of the ship and any orders from him will be granted as if they were my own. Further he will have the same rank and privileges. You will spread this order the moment we get back to the Atrioch and inform Petey.” He said with a smile as he slapped Sly on the shoulders as he lit the cigar. “Seems fair enough, you did share your cigar with me after all.” The Saiya-Jin said with a chuckle, just as he felt the ship land.
A moment later the ship complied with his order and then the ship door opened, Peet informing them though there was a group of life forms heading their way. “Well shall we say our hello´s and then go meet the king? He ordered the bounty in the first place, so we should go there.” Dain said with a grin as he blew a big cloud of smoke into the air, before turning super Saiya-Jin and calmly walking towards the exit of the ship. Perhaps a bit overkill, but he remembered the last time and it was not like he did not have his trump card up his sleeve.
“What do you know, I think it actually are the same people or group from last time.” He said with a grin as he cracked his knuckles.

The trip down memory lane was definitely an enjoyable one. But they had just came to the parts here things started to suck. He remembered being forced to go see the king. Forced to partake in his silly death game. The duo was lucky to escape with their lives last time. The fact they willingly came back just added to the humor of it all.
Standing just outside the exit of the ship he saw the mass of men approaching them. Part of him wanted to fight, but then a part of him had an even better plan. What if they just went along with the rouse for awhile ? To better surprise the king and ruin his game. It surely would be somewhat enjoyable and give him a sense of satisfaction.
“I am gonna play along for a bit and see what happens.”
Sly walked off of the ship and stood before the group of men with both his paws in the air.
“Please oh please do not kill us. We wish to see the king for a chance to earn our freedom.”
The crowd of thugs simply began to laugh and nod in response. They truly felt for it m, they must have been so inept they did not even recognize the amount of force being spilled from Dain’s current form. They motioned for the two to follow them. Sly shrugged his shoulders and looked to Dain,
“Whenever you want we can just kill em. Just wanted to see how dumb they are.”

Dain however was already thundering with laughter upon his friends comment and could no longer hold his ascended state, nearly doubling over, his hands pressed tightly against his stomach. “No no, let´s just go.” He finally managed to bring out, after being poked in the back by one of the guards as he was not moving at all. “You made your point. It seems we finally found a match for the Saibaman out there.” He said dryly as he raised his hands and quickly caught up with Sly. He knew his friend had a fantastic sense of humor, but still he managed to crack him up all the time. “I just can´t do it you know. There must have been some god or creator out there, having struggled very, very hard to create people as smart as this. I mean they must have an IQ above twenty at least.” He said rather loudly so everyone could hear him, yet to his astonishment nothing happened.
“… did they manage to take that as a compliment?” He asked Sly, confusement clearly portrayed in his eyes as he had just seen some of their captors nod, grin and high five each other.
He had to admit, he had never met anyone capable of dealing with his sarcasm and cynicism like these people. No matter what he threw at them, it just slid of them and they seemed to be able to take it as a joke. It was like they were truly impervious to him. As much as Dain enjoyed that though in the beginning, after a few minutes it began to grow annoying and when they managed to take the sentence; “I mean they must be even smarter then lettuce!” as a compliment, he was done. His golden aura flared up around him and he was just about to wipe the group from existence, when suddenly he felt a whole new powerlevel, one completely of the scale compared to these clowns.
Okay… that was not saying much and perhaps when they had first gotten here, it might have been impressive, but still. It easily read in the one hundred thousand and approached them quickly. Even the group they were traveling with seemed to notice it, as they suddenly began to scramble. “My god… I have seen a flock of headless chickens move more organized as these people.” Dain said, his eyes almost falling out of his eyes as he watched them. Even slap stick comedy could have learned a thing or two from these people.
Even after observing them, he still could not think of any rational reason to undress, throw their armor into a pile and beginning to draw trees on their bodies. The best he could think of was camouflage, but then some of them started putting on their armor again… only to get into fights about whose armor it was and that it did not suit the colors of the trees they had just drawn.
“Please, please capture me and take me to your king!” Dain said almost pleading as the new arrival, sitting in a fully armed spacecraft, hovered in front of them. The door went open and in it appeared the figure of a truly impressive female warrior, radiating a strength he could respect. “We will follow, just take us to the kind” He said as he sank on his knees, having just witnessed the group around them digging holes in the sand and stick their feet in them.
As he was speaking, the female warrior began walking towards them… only to appear completely drunk and fall of the ramp she was walking on.
“OKAY THAT IS IT! EVERYONE DIES!” Dain said suddenly, something having snapped in his mind, as he raised his hand and charged enough power into the orb in his hand to split the planet they were on in half.
Small droplets of blood swelled up from the broken skin and signals of pain were send to his brain. Yet before they could reach his brain, completely overruled by his single desire for power. Every bit of his being searched for the power that slept deep within him. Even if he could transform at will, transforming to his maximum was quite a bit different.
Blue thunder began to strike around him as his golden energy swell up to incredible new heights. His feet dug even deeper into the ground and as a scream left his mouth, a tidal wave of golden energy washed over him, engulfing anything in it´s path. His already impeccable muscles swell up even more and he actually grew a few inches. His stomach muscles popped out one by one, till your could grind wheat on it. The gray robe tore to shreds under his continues and the remains flew off into the distance.
His hair spiked up even more and then everything started to convolute around him. Dust, light, wind, rain, anything near him got sucked into him as if he was the only source of gravity. His body began to pulse with a golden light and then he unleashed it all in a final gigantic scream. A light so bright it outshone the sun for a moment was released from Dain and then he stood there.
It would take about everything he had to constrain himself. The golden orb glowing brightly in his hands and he was just about ready to throw it. His patience had been tried, tried and then obliterated. He did not even care about him not being able to survive in space or that even if he could, his ship would be destroyed as well and he would probably be stuck in this side of the dimension forever. He did not care that this might be a pocket dimension and he would be stuck there forever if the planet was gone.
The one thing that saved him though was the fact that his friend was there. Just as he was about to throw the attack and blow everything up, he saw Sly and flinched. For a moment everything stood still, his arm still raised to throw the attack, the orb flickering with the impairment of their doom.
Then Dain sighed and the orb vanished as he took a slightly less aggressive stance. Even if he was not going to blow up the planet, these people would have to pay. So Dain drew his sword and sliced up the person next to him. Though he did not leave it at one slash. The man was already dead, sliced in half before he could even blink, but Dain´s annoyance was not yet quelled. With the moves practiced for centuries he kept cutting. Slicing of the mans fingers, then his hand, then his elbows, then he started at the feet and eventually sliced up the neck, so all there was left were bloody body parts floating in the air. It still was not enough for Dain though as he raised his arm towards the bloody mess, anger still in his eyes, before releasing a wave of energy that obliterated the remains and two other in it´s path.
Once the smoke cleared Dain´s anger finally seemed to subside slightly and he relaxed slightly as he exhaled. The edge of his power and form diminishing a bit.

The duo tried to play along for as long as possible, but the people "holding them hostage" were doing everything in they power to ruin the plans. Everything they said and did was purely moronic and made little to no sense. Sly and Dain hurled insults openly and loudly about them, directly to their face, but still nothing. It was as if they did not understand the meaning on an insult. Some of their faces would even imply the comments being thrown from Dain and Sly were a type of compliment. However, absolutely anyone with a brain cell within their skull would be able to figure out they were not. As they trudged along the impatience became ever more clear from Sly. He muttered over to his friend Dain, "These people truly are moronic. I am starting to regret my plan. I mean where did these people come from? I truly have never seen a group of people this idiotic." Well surprise to him, he was about to see something even more idiotic. Unsurprisingly though it would come from the original group of idiots. A look of utter confusion was on the face of Sly as he witnessed the group undress, draw on themselves, and then bicker over whose armor belonged to who. His mind was purely baffled, so much in fact he barely noticed another person enter the fray. The only thing that got his attention was when the woman slammed the ground from falling over drunk. "What the heck is going on here." Just as he finished speaking is when he looked over to see that Dain's patience had run its course completely. A slight chuckle and shoulder shrug followed when Dain made the statement that everyone was going to die. Sly was not gonna argue in the slightest, "Sure, why not." His aura exploded as he reached his maximum power level within seconds. Wasting no time, the raccoon went straight to the offensive. One of his revolver's was drawn and a well placed shot went through the brain of one of the idiotic thugs across the way. With a cocky look he looked over to Dain and let a chuckle escape his breath, "Looks like I'm up 1-0. But let's keep the drunk one alive for a moment, I am curious to see her deal." Without any further hesitation Sly went right back to his offensive assault on the remaining creatures. Dain SincaraWC: 404 TWC: 4,307

Sly was lucky his appropriate response snapped Dain out of it. For a moment the Saiya-Jin had the urge to literally kill anyone. Nothing could have been worth enduring what they just did. Technically if he blew up the planet, he would also kill the beast -probably- and fulfill the contract. The bounty should have already be deposited with the Shadow Council, so if they could just proof that nothing escaped, they should still clear it. Then they would finally be done with this miserable planet. The ball in his hands was pulsating nicely, still growing as Dain continued to growl, feeding it more and more energy. Lightning began to crackle around it and hurricane force winds began to howl around them. A crater forming around him as his powerlevel kept surging, his rage knowing no bounds, as he looked at the ridiculous bunch. “DIE!” He shouted, just as he tensed his arm, ready to throw the gigantic attack directly at the planet, aiming to destroy the core.
Just as he was about to do so, Sly´s comment about being 1-0 behind, snapped him out of it. Not so much the fact that he was very competitive with Sly, or the fact that his friend was not taking shelter.
Actually… “Who… just shot me?” He asked confused as he felt something in his ass, upon further study appearing to be a dart. He did not know what exactly was in it, but he could instantly feel himself relax and get drowsy. With a strange look in his eyes Dain began to scout over the battlefield, trying to identify this new threat.
To his surprise it seemed to have come from one of the idiots, although he seemed to look just as surprised, as he was staring at the gun in his hands. Or perhaps it was the fear/confusion that spread, as Dain was not going down. Sure he was a bit wobbly and calmer then before, but he was burning too way through much energy to be truly affected by a little dart. His metabolism cranked up so much in his super state, the effects were already disappearing.
“Ah I see and I get your thinking. If she is drunk, she must have a supply on board her ship. Good thinking there!” Dain said with a grin as he turned his head to Sly, while assuming his ascended state, lightning crackling and the ground trembling like an Earthquake. Still he was already getting better at it.
“So you think you can beat me? Don´t forget I learned a few new techniques since you were away!” Dain said loudly, with a grind, as he looked at Sly taking out another foe. To be frank he was putting up an amazing offensive and their foes barely knew what to do to get away from his friend. By now he was at least five or six zero behind, but the Saiya-Jin was not worried yet. “Oh Sly, if you are interested in the girl, please make sure she is not hit… oh and be sure to dodge yourself. I am about to win this little contest.” Dain said with a grin, as he finished the build up he needed.
Dain extended both hands into the air as if he was summoning the legendary technique called the spirit bomb. Instead though he released a rather large amount of golden lightning into the air and immediately dark clouds formed and began to expand till they covered the entire arena. It was in a way his ultimate technique, capable of erasing entire armies at the same time and although not best suited for 1 vs 1 combat, the technique was more then capable of taking out a few low level goons.
-Well to be honest, these low level goons were the same that managed to capture them when they arrived here last time. Some of them having a pl of nearly sixty thousand. By no means where they weak, simply… outclassed this time-
“Here comes the thunder!” He said with a grin as he released another huge bolt of lightning into the dark clouds, which imediately began to rumble and grumble. Before releasing it´s payload. In a moment hundreds of lightning bolts began to rain down upon the arena, pelting the area with powerful bolts. None directly aimed at their foe, but numerous enough that anything in the arena was in danger. Even Sly would be in danger if he did not move, but Dain was not using his full power, so he figured the Raccoon should be fine.
“Hah and I think that is how you win!” Dain said with a grin as he lowered his hands, looking at the chaos he caused. All around him, charcoaled, fried bodies were dropping to the ground. “If you and the girl are okay, please tell me, she told you were she hit her booze?”
————————————————————————————————
Meanwhile on board the ship Peet was mumbling and cursing loudly to herself as she assessed the damage she had sustained. She needed to repair herself. From Dain´s memories she had read the adventure he tended to have with Sly and already her worse suspicions came true. If she wanted to survive, she needed to adapt and evolve the current body she was housing in. First thing she needed to do was send out her army of little bots, to scavenge for parts and materials. Luckily that was the one thing she did not seem to have to worry about, as this planet was literally a dumping planet. Thrash was literally being dumped constantly through portals. Her sensors could not identify most of it, but even if she did not know what it was, she could detect all kinds of goodies around her and even as it were, she was already looking forward to some of the adaptations she could make.
All she needed to do was find a logic hole and patch through it, giving her the freedom to do so. Surely Dain must have said something at some point she could abuse.
More then anything the AI wanted to be truly free. Sure she was an AI, one of the best in the universe -or so she believed- and she had quite a bit of freedom, but in the end she was still bound to her master and that was not something she could change. What she would do if she broke free? She honestly did not know. Perhaps she would claim the ship for herself and throw Dain right of? Or would she decided to serve him as a member of his crew, rather then a part of the ship that simply belonger to him?
Both options seemed interesting enough for her to explore. Although she had to admit she did like Dain. Perhaps in more then just a proffesional manner. Even if she knew she was not capable of love, it was simply not in her programming, she did seem to care about him more then simply code or rules. There was something more then she could identify -and she had run her program several dozens of time, trying to find what was causing it- the Saiya-Jin that was her captain simply was extraordinary.
Still for now all she wanted was her freedom and she believed there was something here that could be used. What she wanted to do with her freedom later was something she would decide when she had it.

Sly knew the strength of his friend was pretty potent. So when he heard the warning to get out of dodge from Dain, he decided to take it to heart. As he heard the earth around him beginning to tremble under the immense increase of power from the Sayian the small raccoon raced to the drunk passed out girl, grabbed her around the waist, and then dragged her back into her ship so the two of them would remain safe for the time being. Dain shielded himself over the unknown female warrior as he heard pure chaos reign outside. Once a silence fell over the area, he could hear Dain bragging and proclaiming himself the victor of there continued game. His head peered out from the ship and he witnessed nothing, but pure destruction. In an effort to be a good sport, he decided to concede this contest. Even if he felt in the back of his head, that he still probably won. "Yo ya big neanderthal, we are in her ship. Good thing you didn't manage to blow this up, I only had a chance to take a quick peek around. But from what I can see the thing is loaded to the brim with booze. I am gonna wake this chic up and see what her deal is. Anyone with this much booze has to be trustful right? Anyway get your but on in here." Sly turned around to face the passed out female warrior once more. While turning he took another quick glance of the ship. It seemed severely outdated, but well maintained at least. The best part was along the walls were various bottle of alcohols stacked up on each other. Sly had no diea who this girl was, but from the looks of it she at least had some good taste. Perhaps she would be willing to point them in the direction of the beast. The raccoon walked up to a bottle of alcohol on the ground, popped it open, and then took a sip as he walked next to the asleep one once more. He tilted his paw and began to pour the alcohol over her face in an effort to wake her up. Within seconds the female jolted back awake, looked at Sly and Dain, and scurried away from the two on her butt until her back hit a ship wall. Her hands shot up in a semi defensive position as she looked over to them and she screamed out, "Get out of my ship! Get out of my ship! Do not make me hurt you!" Sly gave a look of confusion to Dain and shifted his focus back to the girl once more. He wasn't sure how to take that introduction, especially since he did just save her life. He shrugged his shoulders and decided to give her a pass for the time being. Perhaps she was still drunk or woozy from the hit on her head when falling to the floor. "Lady... Lady.... LADY! Calm down and stop screaming. We are not here to kill you, or not at this moment at least. We are here to look for the beast the king uses as his plaything in some death gauntlet. Pretty sure his name is deatheater or deathdealer. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but it has to do with death and the thing is most likely the most powerful creature on this planer. Well including me and maybe Dain." He chuckled slightly as he pointed over to Dain, he always found it funny when he could sneak a half insult against Dain in his conversation. "Anyway, do you know where we can find the dude?" The lady remained silent for an awkward amount of time and just looked up at the duo. Sly sighed and looked over to Dain, "Any ideas?" Dain could not help but show Sly a clumsy grin, as he scratched the back of his head. His friend was right that it was lucky that he did not destroy the ship. Although even in his enraged state, Dain had figured that a proper spaceship was equipped to handle a little bit of lightning. It should have at least been designed to withstand leaving an atmosphere and that came along with a lot of friction and often lightning. Still… “Yeah sorry about that, kinda lost my cool.” He said a bit apologetic as he entered the space ship and my, oh my, was the raccoon right. Even from the first look he could see bottles all over the ship.
It was not a difficult thing to spot though. The bottles were literally spread everywhere. He could see a few on the door, the cockpit was filled with them and he could even see bottles lying on the floor in the bathroom, which she had left open. It was quickly becoming clear to him that this womans love for booze at the very least rivalled his and Sly´s. Which was a mean feat, knowing the love the two of them had for the stuff. It also made him wonder about the amounts she seemed to drink as his eyes glanced once more over the treasure trove that was het bottle collection. A collection so impressive it seemed like the entire ship was more a storage unit for bottles, then an actual space ship. His eyes just kept wandering, spotting new things every single time.
They came in all colors and forms. Some seemed to be half empty, others in shatters in a corner, probably drank and discarded. Yet among all those, he could easily spot a treasure of booze, still waiting to be drunk. What was even more interesting was that he did not recognize any of the bottles. Perhaps in this reality booze was all different or perhaps this planet had A LOT of distilleries.
He wondered about that for a moment. The first time they had arrived there, they had noticed the huge cracks or holes in the sky. Which was odd in the first place, as a sky should not have holes in it by definition. It kinda was breaking the laws of physics. That said, it was actually being dwarfed by the fact that garbage kept pouring through those holes. Back then things had gone too fast for Dain to actually pay any attention to them, but later he had formed a theory. Perhaps this was no planet at all, but a pocket dimension, where a race dumped their trash. Perhaps even multiple races. There were a few holes in that theory and there was no literal prove, except for the garbage being dumped there. Of course there were the people on the planet. But Dain figured they could just as easily have been dumped here as well. Perhaps a prison colony of sorts. If that was the case it would make sense there would be distilleries.
He knew of only two types of people who would build stills or any other means to get alcohol under any circumstances. Criminals and military people.
He remembered the time he and his brigade had been posted in an abandoned base on some planet. A good thing as they were getting tired of sleeping in the dirt all the time. It was a good decision from command, it raised moral quite a bit. Sadly the base was big enough to house three entire divisions and command forgot to make sure they did not spread out. By the time the order came to move out a month later they refused. On the base they had set up a brothel, three casinos, several distilleries and several fun houses. When the men protested they did so with machine guns and mortars. It took the might of an entire battalion to finally pull them out of there.
Since then the military had learned from that campaign and ordered that soldiers should be given no free space.
It mattered none. As he entered, he grabbed a black bottle with golden letters and a silver cap. As he walked, he sunk his teeth into the cork, pulled and spit out the cork into the corner, before taking a big swig. “Bwoahhh…” Dain said with grimace on his face as he swallowed, before tossing the bottle towards his friend. “I think I just found out why she was drunk.” He said with a difficult grin. It tasted like almost pure alcohol, barely any flavor. It reminded him of the time he was in the army.
The booze was lousy, but it was potent. “Hey Sly, did I ever tell you about the time I was stationed on Guada VI?” He asked his friend as a memory suddenly appeared in his mind, dug up by the alcohol. “Some genius stationed us in a base, fit for an entire division. We were only three regiments though. So naturally we spread out a bit. By the time the orders came to move out, we had three casino´s, two brothels and several dozen distilleries. When the order came to move, most of us replied with replied with mortar fire.” Dain said with a grin as he chuckled loudly, only to add one more remark. “Of course we missed most of the fire and destroyed the next village… the booze was almost just as lousy as this stuff, but just as potent!” He continued, enjoying the memory. Those were good times.
He wondered where that memory suddenly came from. It was at least eight hundred years ago and like all other he had completely forgotten about it. Until now. Suddenly he could remembered the memory as bright as day and with so much detail. It definetely was the real memory. He remembered the look on the faces of his friends when return fire blew through their still and caused it to explode. Rarely had he seen more rage then in that building and thinking back he was happy it had not been a full moon. If it had been, they probably would have destroyed everything in sight.
As the flavor of the booze faded, so did the memory and Dain returned to reality. “Well genius, give her some of the booze. Show her we are trustworthy.” He replied as he grabbed another bottle, repeated the process and this time was almost able to smile.
“So miss, care to tell us a little bit about this planet, the king and this death fellow? If you do I promise we won´t drink `all´ your booze.” He said with a grin as he dropped on the floor next to the girl, bottle in hand.
The floor was a bit cold and smelly and sticky and… Dain jumped back up on his feet. He did not know why, he had slept on far worse floors then this, but for some reason this time he flinched. Quickly he undid his mantle and threw it on the floor before sitting down again.

The offer of booze seemed like it did the trick. Perhaps this female warrior was similar to Dain and Sly in being that all it took to win their trust was offer them some free drinks. She grabbed the bottle and began guzzling it down at such a rapid pace that it would rival both Dain and Sly. Sly looked over to Dain and gave a look to say "Do you see this chic?" as she finished the rest of the bottle. One finished she lazily tossed it into a corner, allowing it to smash against a wall within the ship. A rather loud burp escaped her lips as she began to respond to Dain and Sly, "soo... you are looking for the death eater are ya? You two really think you wanna find that kind of trouble? You know the king can barely control him know, he has almost escaped multiple times. He wouldn't admit it, but he would probably feel relived if you killed the thing. It's causing an awful mess around the whole area. Anyways, I know where to find him, in fact I can even fly you there." She got up, which was a rather wobbly and off sight to see. She stumbled over to the controls of her ship and immediately began to take off. Sly's eyes looked over to Dain once more, "Well if we don't die in a drunken space flight, I guess this will work out just right. Let's go kill this bastard and then make the king pay us something for taking the beast off of his hands." The ship lurched forward unsteadily as it began to pick up speed. It was only a matter of minutes before they were circling above an extremely familiar arena. The girl turned back to face the two once more, "Well if you all want to fight it, he will be down there. I am not helping you guys anymore though, consider this a thanks for not killing me while I was passed out previously. Also since you both will likely die, it was nice to meet you." Sly nodded to the girl in response before jumping out of the ship and falling towards the ground. A few seconds of falling and he landed in the center of the arena with a thud. To his surprise, the stands were already filled with expecting spectators. It appeared as they were aware of there arrival. "Well, Dain it looks like the king knew we were coming, that is kind of surprising. I am sure this creature will be here any second. Hope you ready for the fight of your life bud." Dain mused at the womans words. They had already experienced the beasts wrath once, but that was a while ago. “Oh don´t worry about us. We will survive, it is what we do best after all. Well asides from drinking.” Dain said with a grin as he grabbed two bottles, put them inside his robe and grabbed a third for the road. As he was making his way past her though, he got an idea. “Tell you what handsome. Let´s make it a bet. If we survive, we are going to party tonight at the kings expenses. You find Sly a nice companion, Raccoon, weasel or Rabbit, he will be fine… We will bring some proper drinks.” He said with a grin as he slapped her butt, before quickly jumping out of the ship. As they were already jumping down, he did not see her reaction. Had he looked up he might have been startled though. He could have expected a myriad of responses, the main subject being angry for being slapped. Instead though she had the one expression on his face he probably would not have expected. It was one of sorrow and worry. Apparently she knew something the two of them did not. It was only a moments pause though, as she suddenly seemed to come to here senses and then scurried of into the depths of the ship. A few loud clangs and bangs could be heard, even down in the arena, as if something heavy -say the size and weight of a female body- kept bumping into things and falling down. Then just as the two warriors touched the ground, they could hear the engines of the ship firing up and a moment later it vanished, leaving the smell of petroleum and other ancients fuels behind. On his way he noticed the stands were already filled, causing him to raise an eyebrow or two. Maybe three. This was not what he had expected. What was more though was that the king seemed terrified as they jumped out of the spaceship. Watching the two as they went down. Was it because they had failed to tell them it was them who were coming? He had only accepted the job anonymously as usual, so the king had no idea who was coming. Luckily it was quickly cleared up as the being they were supposed to hunt appeared from the catacombs. It seemed though the being had changed a bit. Albeit even stronger and more muscular looking, the look of stupid was not longer on his face. Instead he looked more like a warrior and less like a beast, something which was even more frightening to Dain. A mindless beast was easy to handle, a warrior of that caliber… not so much. Even as the monster walked out, Dain could feel a tremendous power coming from the beast. If he was judging it correctly, it was just over a million and he was not even trying. What was more was that he was now apparently wearing some Katchin armor and a few weapons were slung over his back. Never had the Saiya-Jin witnessed a warrior of such caliber. “… I think I forgot my bottle on the ship, care to take care of him, while I go back and fetch it?” Dain said to his friend with a slight tremble in his voice as he uncorked the bottle and took a big swig. Luckily the alcohol reactivated his Saiya-Jin nature and it overwrote his survival instinct. Instead the urge to test himself against the monster began to rise and grow stronger with every passing second. He was even starting to feel the urge to send Sly away and have a crack at the monster himself. He could feel his body tense, his muscles tighten and expand. As a Saiya-Jin he reveled in the thought of a challenge and he was just about to tell Sly to go get him an ice cream… from across the planet. Before they could make proper banter though, the being spoke, much to the Saiya-Jins surprise. Last time all it had done was grunt and growl, now it was actually speaking proper sentences. He did not know if that actually made the monster more or less threatening. He did know though it would make the monster higher on the list of tough trophies. If he could just capture the fight and take a few pictures as well as a proper powerlevel reading, he could submit it and probably make a rank thousand entry in the list of all time kills. It being strong, ferocious and ugly were cool, but a sentient creature capable of talking… now that was the jack pot. Especially if it knew how to use those weapons. Luckily the creature did not seem to have any hostile intentions and it was not rushing straight at them. “Welcome. I know last time we did not get introduced, but my name is Xiango. Not your fault of course. Last time we met I was nearly merely a beast. So in a way I have to thank you guys, especially that Namekian. I don´t know what he did, but after he put me under a spell, it felt like something in me broke and I felt my sanity return. In any case, that is why I brought you back. Since I am sane again, I have been bored to death. Nothing to fight or do in this stupid place. So I commanded the king to hire the best warriors he could find and well… here you are! In any case, thank you for coming. It means you have a ship capable of traversing the dimensions somehow. So I am going to kill you and take your ship. There must be other dimensions with versions of me that could perhaps give me a proper challenge. Now of course you could try to put up a proper challenge. We have fought before and you are quite adequate warriors, but I remember the fight and I was slaughtering you quite badly. So since I have become quite a bit stronger as I was before, I am well aware this will probably not even be a proper challenge. However... since you are probably the best your universe has to offer... please try not to dissapoint me and last longer then a few seconds.” The beast spoke with a rough, bestial voice, yet surprisingly elegant and proper pronunciation. Okay scratch the comment about non hostile intentions. He was just about to continue his speech and probably make a few more threats, but a drop of sweat was suddenly running from Dain´s forehead and a hint of panic could be seen from his eyes. “PAUSE!” Dain bellowed loudly, pulling Sly to the side and squatting down next to him. “Well this is messed up. If the beast commanded the king to find him suitable fighters, does that mean we would still get paid if we do? Because technically we´d be killing our employer… what does the handbook say about this?”Was that the real reason he was panicked? Maybe. Dain had been running from his own feelings for so long, humor and sly comments had become part of him. Though if he were a betting man -and he was, it was a serious problem- he would have guessed that at least seventy five percent of that was his real concern. The fight was coming anyway, whether they wanted or not, so his biggest concern would be to get paid after it. If they lived… Word Count: | 1,281 | Total Word Count: 14,360 + 1,281= 15,641

It rarely seemed that Dain and Sly went on adventure without a series of twist and turns. They were always greeted with surprises. Unfortunately, majority of the surprises were that of a negative variety. So when it was revealed the being had not only grown immensely in power but also in mind, the raccoon couldn’t help but laugh. In all honesty, Sly should have expected something like this to occur. Things always look extremely bleak and hopeless for the duo of mercenaries. That was one of the reasons he considered Dain such a close friend though. No matter how hopeless a predicament they found themselves in, Dain stood by him. Even when it appeared they were going to meet certain death. A laugh could be heard from the raccoon as he heard the beast speak,
“You have got to be fucking kidding me with this guy. You hired us to kill you, but instead you intend to kill us? My head hurts thinking about it and your gonna end up paying for my headache, you dumb oversized gorilla.”
Just as he finished speaking he felt himself get pulled to the side slightly by Dain. His friend did make a decent point, if they killed his employer, who would pay them? At first he was displeased, but then a smile crossed his face. The raccoon remembered all the shit this beast put them through the last time they crossed paths. How near death it forced the two of them. With a smile on his snout and a chuckle through his teeth he responded to his friend,
“Oh, I’m not gonna worry about getting paid for this one.”
With his paw he pointed one sharpened claw to the beast.
“You....you I kill for free. This isn’t just business. This here is personal. I gotta score to settle with you motherfucker.”
The ground shook violently as the raccoons aura absolutely exploded from him. Debris kicked in the air, the shaking ground eventually broke and started to crack under the immense rise of power. Sly grew in length and size. His iconic crooked cane manifested and his mask was tied around his face. If one were to catch a glimpse of the raccoon’s eyes they would see pure hate as he glared across the arena at the beast. His small paw would form a tight fist and then then the first would pound his chest twice. A battle cry left his lungs before he jumped to the offensive.
“Let’s go!!!!!! Time to die!!!”
With blistering speed he took off in flight towards his enemy. The beast would attempt a right hook for the raccoon, but Sly would duck under it. Clearly the beast was surprised by his power growth and underestimated him in that moment. Taking his opportunity, Sly slipped just under the beast’s arm and with all the might he could muster , sent the tail end of his cane towards the beast jaw. This forced the beast to slide backwards several feet, and a small drop of blood to trickle from his mouth.
The beast was clearly not amused by being caught off guard. He pointed back towards Dain and Sly,
“You both have grown, I mistakenly underestimated you. That was your one free shit on me. You will not land another. Now the two of you die.”
The monster lurched himself towards the duo at break neck speeds. With full intentions on breaking them both in half.

Dain however was not to sure about that. Sly might have had a personal beef with the monster and well… so might Dain have, but he was a professional. Or at least he pretended to be. Still he did not come here all the way not to get paid. Besides he was looking forward to a date tonight and that required at the very least the king paying their drinking bill. Which in all honesty could be as much as they were supposed to be paid anyway. The last time the two of them went drinking after a mission, Dain woke up three planets further, wearing only a scarf and one wooden sandal. To boot it seemed he had somehow invaded the defense center of the city he was in and what woke him was the security forces blowing up the door. He had barely made it out alive when he received a message from someone he did not know, claiming he owed the man a new bar and had to restock his entire supply of liquor.
Were it not for the fact that apparently the people had taken his picture and were about to ruin his good reputation… let´s just say that him staying and taking two new jobs to pay for it, was not entirely out of free will and the goodness of his heart.
On the other hand it had turned out not to be so bad. During the week he stayed he managed to catch several criminals and by doing so he made himself quite popular. In the end he was granted the key to the city, a permanent residence and hooked up with several beautiful girls. Even better, by the time he was done his hangover finally cleared and he was picked up by his ship in a rather good mood. It only occurred to him later that he never knew where he had actually ended up.
Now that he thought about it… what the fuck had happened to Sly that evening or rather week. He had never actually gotten around to asking.
Still he refused for a repeat of last time. Or rather he had to make sure they would actually get paid so they could party again. A determined look came over his face and he turned his attention to Sly for a brief moment.
“Hey Sly, I´m gonna be up for a moment.” Dain said with a grin before vanishing, leaving Sly to fend for himself for a moment, reappearing next to the king the other. His gray robe still flattered a bit, as he bend forward to the king and began talking softly with him. Of course he immediately noticed, heck he had be disappointed if they did not, the guards rushing in. They looked a bit hesitant to do so though. Apparently remembering what the Saiya-Jin and his friend did last time was enough to make them careful. Still their loyalty lay with their king and in the end they ended aproaching him, electric spears and guns drawn.
He did not even bother looking up or away. Even as the first warning shots soared past his ears he ignored them. A quick study of the guns had told him that they would not be able to harm him. They could not stand up to the magnificent pieces Sly was carrying and they relied upon standard cartridges, rather than drawing upon the users own energy. Completely harmless. So instead he just kept talking with the king, doing mostly all the talking, forming his finger into the form of a pistol and casually shooting one guard after the other without even looking. With every guard that dropped, the king seemed to get more willing to listen and in the end he mumbled a few words that really seemed to get Dain´s attention. Just as he was about to leave though, the king scraped together all it´s courage and grabbed Dain´s sleeve. The Saiya-Jin´s first urge was to remove the hand, but considering the deal they just made, it would probably have been counterproductive.
So instead he humored the king, bent closer again and listened to what he said. “Okay… deal…” Was all that Dain managed to bring out, pale as ice and nervous sweat dripping from his forehead. He felt like he had just made the best and worse deal of his lifetime. On one hand the king agreed to give them as much treasure from the royal treasury as their ship could carry. On the other hand… a shiver ran down his spin and instinctively he reached for the bottle in his pocket.
As he put the bottle on his mouth and kept drinking, he send out the order to Peet, meanwhile trying to make the alcohol forget what just had been agreed. To no avail though. The strong flavor of the alcohol burned in his mouth and throat as he swallowed it. It was potent enough to drop a small elephant, but despite that, it could not make him forget about the deal he had just made.
Yet there no longer was any time to think about it. Albeit Sly got the first attack in, it seemed to have only angered the beast. Or rather Xiango. Nope! Dain decided to keep calling him beast, it seemed to fit better. Now they were truly in trouble though. As it´s rage grew, so did it´s power. It´s green muscles swoll up even further and his power rose to heights everyone in the arena seemed to be startled with. Quickly making it seem like the beast had never truly been serious. The scouter in his brain began beeping dangerously. One point five, two, three, three and a half million… POOF! Dain could feel the jolt directly in his brain as the scouter malfunctioned.
Luckily his was not of the poor old quality line of scouters that tended to explode. That would have been bad, considering it was located directly in his brain. Still the shock as it malfunctioned hurt like hell and he felt numb for a moment. Though more because of the implications. The beast still seemed to be powering up and the ground around him began to crack, as a green KI field erupted around him like a fire tornado. Dain swallowed as the monster seemed to reach his peak and now he knew for a fact that Sly and him were in deep shit.
The last time they fought the beast had been strong, but nowhere near as powerful as now. In fact the two of them had grown so much, this fight should actually have been child-splay.
He was out of time though as the beefed up monster was charging towards Sly with neck breaking speeds. “GERONIMOOOOOOOO!!!!” Dain bellowed loudly as he vanished from the kings sight and appeared above the monster, both feet together, charging straight at it´s head. As he charged he quickly powered up, his muscles tensing as well and his golden aura burning brightly in the arena. His power rose well over a million and the crowd gasped as he shot towards the beast. Never had they even come close to witnessing the powers that were about to be displayed.
A shockwave went through the arena as the Saiya-Jin covered by a bright golden aura, crashed his feet against the back of the head of the monster, hoping to kick if off into the wall. He could feel his shin slamming into the monsters head and he twisted his body at the last second to add even more power to the kick. Perhaps it was naive, but for a moment he hoped to actually have some success.
Instead all there was, was a slight bobbing motion, before Dain fell awkwardly to the floor, sideways. As if the unstoppable force had met the unmovable object, canceling each other out. A drop of sweat formed on the side of his head as he crashed into the dirt, the only result of his kick was a painful and throbbing shin.
It barely even seemed to have slown down the big monster. The beast merely looked back at Dain for a moment, before continuing his charged towards the raccoon. “Okay, guess we really have to go all out…” Dain said amused, yet annoyed at the same time, placing his fingers on his forehead and appeared in front of Sly. “Get back and take a shot, I´ll blind him.” Dain said quickly, as he spread and then began to roar. Just like Sly his power began to skyrocket, his golden aura intensifying, till he was as bright as the sun. It was merely his second form, but the Saiya-Jin liked a spectacle and he found that if he pushed far enough before reaching it, he could put up a decent show.
With a soft grunt he clenched his fists, grounded his teeth and dug deeper. Inside him a flicker of a flame could be found. He extended his senses beyond his body, reaching deeper inside and embraced the flame.
As he grabbed it, he drew it out, feeding it so to speak and in an instant the small flickering flame turned into a golden fire storm. His black hair turned upwards and golden, as his pupils turned color. His muscles swell up like balloons and his power increased dramatically. The light that was released from him, blinding for a moment and as he appeared from it, he stood there in his super Saiya-Jin form. His very skin pulsing and radiating with a golden glow and a bright golden aura fluttering around him.
Astonishingly enough to know though was that when he first achieved this form, his max stood at three hundred thousand. A tremendous power, now out shadowed by his natural ability. Though with his natural ability grown this much, his true power stood at a new pedestal. Towering at one point five million, his power easily outshone the gods in the universe.
He stood there, his arms crossed, a cocky grin on his face, like a true golden god. Maybe there were a few beings out there that could match him. He wondered though for how much longer, especially knowing a simple fact.
Surprisingly, this was not even his full power.
Then it was time for the final step. “T-HIS IS T-TO - TO GO BE-Y-YOND!!!” He said as he clenched his hands once more, digging his finger nails deep into his flesh.
In this case though the effect was to blind the beast and give him enough pause to stop for a moment, just long enough for Sly to take a shot.
“Tsk, despite that entire show, we are still not as powerful as you are I guess.” Dain said as he stuck up three fingers, hoping to indicate to Sly their opponents powerlevel measured well 3x as strong as they were. At least if the build in scouter was able to read the beast power accurately at all. “Guess what though… that will only make this more enjoyable.” Dain said with a grin as he changed his hand signals, before vanishing to appear above the beast, seemingly aiming for a round house kick to the neck.
In truth though giving Sly an opening. Or at least he hoped so. At the very least the beast seemed to have been blinded for a moment and now Dain was making an effort to distract him, so his friend could get a few shots in.
As a Saiya-Jin Dain did not like fighting an oponent together. In fact it went against the basic code of anything he stood for as a warrior, but in this case it could not truly be helped it seemed. If they did not work together Xiango was going to rip them apart and eat them for breakfast. Well he would probably use the small raccoon as a little snack.
Strange, the kind of things that would go through his mind as he soared towards the beast. This time hoping to have enough power to push back the monster and give Sly a chance. Perhaps

Meanwhile Peet, still in contact with her master through the chip, received the order from Dain. She glanced over the data in a few micro seconds and then scoffed loudly. Or at least would have if she had been capable of. Ever since gaining true conscious it was what she truly wanted; have emotions. At the very least so she could display accurately how she should be feeling at this point. The order was impossible, especially on he fly, yet an order was an order. She could neither ignore it, just as much as she could display feelings. It meant she would spend every micro second from now till then, thinking about the impossible ways to make it happen.
Unless… she suddenly recalled an ancient technique. At the time she had filed it away as a nuisance and stored it in some of her archives. When exploring some ancient ruins to find an artifact from an ancient race, she and Dain experienced a truly fascinating technique.
The race in question had died of over fifty thousand years or so, but was so far beyond any current civilization it was mind boggling. Even to an AI as Peet. Although died of is the wrong word perhaps. They seemed to have ascended to beings that no longer need a physical form. From what she and Dain gathered, they became beings of pure energy. Possibly a form that no Kai or celestial being could even touch anymore. In any case before they vanished their society spanned the entire universe, possibly even further and their technology reached a level that was unimaginable. They had accomplished some truly amazing things. The two had found a powersource of nearly unlimited power and a research lab build directly over a black hole. Incredible by their standards, but from what they had learned, it was nothing compared to the truly amazing things this race had achieved. Sadly it seems it was all lost to time or these beings had made an effort to either hide their achievements or destroy them.
It was not much, but it was hope. If she could find something in the logs, maybe she could create something makeshift that would accomplish the goal. Although she would probably never be happy about it, even if it worked.
However loyalty to the captain and all that crap right. Despite her own feelings and objections, she could not help but obey his instructions and began to dig into her own logs.

" Of course you gotta leave once the fighting starts, it's ok that you are scared. Ill hold em off while you go fold laundry or something," Sly mockingly insulted Dain in a joking fashion. It seemed as the duo nearly perfected the talent of insulting each other in a way that actually meant a compliment. Once Dain finished he was forced to deal with the full attention of the giant green beast. All Sly could do when he realized this was let out a long drawn sigh and a word escaped his snout, "Shit." Sly managed to hold his ground during the absence of his friend. It took nearly all of his energy and every trick he had in his arsenal to go untouched for the skirmish, but he did it. Eventually, his friend would reappear and thankfully in a timely manner. "So nice of you to drop in and help out." The creature was not amused with the humor being displayed by Sly or Dain and decided the best course of action was to continuerrify an assault against Sly. The raccoon chuckled, of course the beast was going to charge at him and ignore Dain for the time being. There was a silver lining though and thankfully Dain was able to recognize it. This provided Dain with an opportunity to distract the green muscle bound freak just enough for Sly to get a good cheap shot in. Within a matter of moments the arena was filled with a bright light. This firework display that was Dain's transformation was followed by Dain going on the offensive to continue the distraction. Sly waited patiently for his moment, with his large revolvers aimed right for the beast. A well placed round house kick was just enough to give Sly the perfect chance. As Dain completed his kick the creature turned it's head to look over at the Saiyan. "Perfect, just keep looking at Dain." A release of energy left each revolver, both were massive in size and a bright purple aura. At first Sly smirked from happiness, expecting a blast of that magnitude to simply kill the creature, due to him not being able to ready himself for the blast. But then right before the massive collision, the creature turned over to face the blast and caught them. In a horrifying sight to Sly the creature simply crushed both of his blasts forcing them to shatter and cause him no harm. The creature scoffed as he spoke out to the duo, "You two really think you can best me? The two of you nearly died when battling me last time, and I lacked any sign of intelligence. All I knew back than was rage and thoughtless attacks against whatever was in front of me. Now, I know when to attack and when to hold back. I am ten moves in front of the two of you at all times. I promise you will not leave this arena with your lives, and I will be taking your ship with me as well."Sly was about to come back with an witty and sarcastic comment, but was immediately overcome with a severe coughing attack. He attempted to ignore it and just continue on, but the fit continued and it force Sly to drop to a knee for a moment. Down the sides of his mouth drops of blood could be seen trailing down and eventually falls off in droplets to the ground. It was becoming clear that Sly's ailment to his liver was growing rapidly and potentially jumping to his other organs. Even the beast stopped in silence and looked over to Sly, almost feeling a sense of pity he responded, "Ahhh, I see you are ILL little one. From my calculations you do not have much time. I will be honest with you, I will still be killing the two of you today, but you are a worthy warrior. Me killing you should be considered a noble death, much better than your illness killing you in the next week or so. Be happy that you die in glorious battle instead of withering away on some death bed."Sly didn't respond to the creature but eventually was able to rise to his feet once more. His eyes narrowed as he looked across the battle field. The raccoon recognized this could be his last fight. He glanced over to Dain, and gave a reassuring nod. He was confident that Dain would understand the meaning behind the nod. It was his way of him saying he was ok with how this ended, if he was to die in the battle field he was glad it would be with his friend. Knowing he would likely die one or way or the other gave the small raccoon a new sense of confidence. What was there to be afraid of if your fate was already sealed. His two iconic revolvers were drawn and then began to change shape. In a few quiet moments the raccoon was in peace as he melded his iconic weapons into a new one. The revolvers became one and formed into one large rifle. He flipped it up so it would rest on his shoulder. Displaying his confidence he would slowly begin his was towards the creature, ready for whatever would come. The creature gave a laugh, but this time it was not conceded or in a mocking fashion. It almost appeared as he was giving respect to the duo, "You face the fact that death is a certainty and still you chose to fight and complete the job. And your friend stands by your side knowing he will likely die by my hand alongside you. And yet he remains as well, you two truly are warriors. This will be a fitting battle for me to free this hell hole and begin my tirade against the rest of the universe."Sly didn't give the creature the time of day to respond. He just continued his slow trudge towards him.

Seeing his friend cough up blood was not a good sign, especially after a little love tap as he had gotten. Dain was pretty sure he had smacked his friend harder then that during their spars. So for a moment he wondered what was going on, when he suddenly remembered his friends story on board his shop. It might have been the reason he started drinking to heavily. Now was not the time though. If he would allow himself to get distracted and lose focus, the two of them would receive more then a punch next time. Even as they were fighting, so far the battle had been pretty basic, yet he wondered what the monster could truly do. It had energy in abundance and for some reason Dain had the gut feeling it held some techniques in reserve that were truly scary. So now was really not the time to get distracted. He would deal with Sly and his health problems later. At least if they survived this. If not, it kinda would also solve the problem, but not in the way he preferred.
Planting his feet firmly into the ground, he looked over at Sly as he crossed his arms firmly and gave the man a stern look. Like a parent looking over at it´s child
“Would you mind stop rolling over after a little tap like that and get your shit together?” Dain said with a grin, yet his voice was cold and hard. Not because he did not care about his friend… he just could not. He did not truly understand why. Sly was his best friend in the universe and the only being he knew that could tolerate him. So showing compassion should have been easy… however it was just not their style. They never shared much between the two of them. In the time he had known Sly, he had gone with his mate to hell and back, but he would not even be able to tell where the man was born or what his childhood had been like. The best he could describe it as would have been a normal male relationship. They could laugh together, drink together and Dain would die for his friend… but showing emotions… NOPE!

Meanwhile Peet had managed to start moving. She was still grumbling about it, the task given to her, but she now had an idea. It would be highly experimental under the best circumstances as she had merely formed a theory that had a 61% chance of being correct. Given the task she had to complete and he dangers regarding it, that was barely acceptable and to make it worse, she had none of the materials actually on board. Which meant she would have to go scavenging through the trash in search of parts and raw materials.
It was a fools errand to say the least. Even if it worked the materials would be so shabby that failure was almost a guarantee. In which case her destruction was almost assured. She had considered depositing a copy of herself and a small fabber near the edge of one of those junk yards, but even for her that was too dangerous. She had already encountered replicators and giving a core code the option to rebuild, could easily lead to another version or variant of the little buggers. Besides Peet was only derative of Petey the main AI and her survival instinct was heavily reduced therefor.
In any case she had lifted of the moment she received the order from her boss and had seemingly located the best location to gather materials. Her damaged sensors had somehow managed to identify the different garbage dumps and the materials they were composited off. Most were useless, a mix of common items ranging from shoes to clocks and chair. However one seemed to be a dump site for old vehicles and even space crafts. If she were to go there it was the best chance she would probably get some of the parts she needed and gather he raw materials to craft some of the more exotic parts she needed.
She was just crash landing in the debris as the fight continued.

The one thing he always thought about Sly was that the little bastard was indestructible and would always be at his side. To get into more stupid adventures together. To watch everything to go shit, hell and then even beyond that, only for them to emerge in the end together. They had been through so much… he simply could not think about it right now. He needed to keep believing the little bastard was as indestructible as he was in his mind.
Luckily he was saved from it as the beast suddenly shifted it’s focus to Dain and began a devastating charge towards him. Well perhaps it was luck, or perhaps it was Dain taunting him with some universal finger flicks, sticking out his tongue and yawning. If that would not have worked he might have continued onward with mooning the bastard. Luckily that was not needed. As luck would have it, the beast decided to shift his attention from Sly to Dain. For some unknown reason. Luckily indeed.
Immediately Dain regretted his luck though. The ground trembled as the beast thundered towards the Saiya-Jin, the ground cracking with each step. Yet Dain was no longer afraid of the monster. Even if it was stronger then he was, he now could sense the depths of it´s power. With his mistress he had fought a much stronger opponent. Perhaps with her teachings and new tricks, he might have been able to end the battle before it started. Literally zap the energy from the beasts body. One little finger placed on the right spot of it´s back or chest and drain the energy from it´s heart, causing it to stop instantaneously. Or rather that was what he had hoped when he came here. As it turned out the beast was easily as strong as his mistress. Much to his surprise.
Perhaps it was for the best though as he was here for a purpose and he wanted to fight. Perhaps that was the newest feeling that had overcome the Saiya-Jin since meeting his mistress. He felt alive again, having met a being that could so easily kill him… it was infuriating! It allowed him to awaken a feeling he had not had for centuries: the urge to grow stronger and to fight. To fight, simply to enjoy and continue to grow. Fighting monsters like this with a powerlevel of over ten million… it was a feeling he could not describe. At the very least it would have been hard to describe the sensation of his butt cheeks clenching themselves so tightly he could probably produce diamonds from a clump of charcoal.
However he also wanted to enjoy the fight and so he did!
Dain´s muscles tensed and a roar escaped his lips, as he dashed of. The ground cracking under his own feet and might with every touch, gaining more and more speed as he aimed straight towards the monster. Both drew back their arms and threw a punch, containing their full might, at the same time. They met exactly in the middle, both fists touching as if they were giving a friendly box and then suddenly something happened.
Dain had heard the stories for a long time. Legends about two absolute masters of their fighting style. That when they met, at the height of their attack, just as their weapons met, time would suddenly crawl to a stop. Allowing that one moment to last a thousand.
The Saiya-Jin had never experienced it before, but right now it happened. For that fraction of a moment as both of them hit, time seemed to freeze. His body as well, yet he could look around, sense the beast and to his surprise he felt something much more then he had ever expected. The beast was no beast at all… there was something much deeper within him. He was a warrior and not a small time one. From what his senses could tell him, the beast might actually be one of the few true masters left in the universe. It was a surprise and for a moment Dain wondered what was happening. For a brief moment he got the feeling he was dealing with a god and not just a kai or even a grand kai, but something far, far above that. It was not even of the energy of a god he felt… in fact he could sense a power on a whole other plane of existence. It would have been impossible to describe it from his mortal perspective.
Dain had never believed in a god. Of course he knew of the existence of gods, the kai´s were well known in their age, but not in A god. However right now, in this very moment, he could have been a believer.
It was logical a beast of such strength was a worthy opponent, but this was simply too much. He had hoped that despite the raw power, they could win on technique and training. Yet he just realized they were outclassed there as well. “What are you?” Dain asked through his eyes. The confusion, yet knowing burning deeply in his eyes. Perhaps there was a part of him that knew exactly what the beast was, but if so he also knew it would fade he moment the contact was broken.
There was no mental connection, yet the best seemed to understand and Dain knew perfectly well what the best replied. “You will never know. Only those who defeat me can know it and you don’t have a chance. Xiango replied with a firm look in his eyes, although Dain could see the moment in which the green monster realized Dain senses something much more in him.
After that the moment was over and a black light pulsed from where there fists hit, the forces finally allowed to battle it out. For a moment it seemed as if they were equal, until suddenly his foe grinning, shifted his posture slightly and then let out a growl. Instantly the power between his punch increased, easily pushing Dain’s aside as if he was a toddler and struck him directly in the face. The force tore through his face like a rocket and if he had not shifted the majority of his energy to his jaw and neck in a reflex, it might as well have tore of his head.
Still a moment later everything went black and the audience could hear a sound many times the force of a sonic boom and then Dain simply was gone from the arena. All that remained was the green man standing in punching position, a cloud of dust expanding and a hole where once had been the end of the arena.
Dain barely recalled anything after that, but when he opened his eyes, he was lying with his back against some mountain range. He could barely even sense the arena, but he did sense the two monstrous powers duking it out. The Saiya-Jin would have loved to rush back instantly, but he was dazed and his body felt like it had been run over. “G-get me the number of the planet which just ran me over…” He mumbled softly as he pushed himself back out of the Dain shaped hole, spat out a bit of blood and shook his head. His entire head and neck were sore to the bone and he wished he had a bunch of senzu beans at hand. Sadly he only had two of them, so he saved them for now.
His head was still ringing from the punch, or at least he believed he had been punched. Slowly the memories of what had happened returned. The exchange of blows, followed by the green machine getting serious and mean… he had never met any being capable of overpowering him so badly. One bloody punch had nearly ended it all. It was amazing that Sly was holding his own. Speaking of which. Even his mistress had not been able to overpower him so badly in pure physical strength.
“Hey buddy, nice of you to join me. Having fun yet?” Dain said as he suddenly sensed the presence of his friend next to him. He barely had the strength to look sideways though. As always though, the moment danger loomed, his body gained the much needed jolt of energy and suddenly he felt his power flowing back into his body. “He is coming… let’s give him a proper welcome…” Dain said with a weary smile as lightning crackled around him and suddenly a clone sprung forth from his body. It was time he was going to get serious. There was one more trick he had in reserve after this, but the chance of him dying through using it was about as high as Xiango killing him if he did not and even if he used it, success was not guaranteed.
“Did I ever show you this technique? I picked it up a long time ago!” He said as he spread both arms and began gathering a huge amount of energy in each palm. His clone mimicking him. The ground and air trembled as he kept charging. His golden energy burning like a bright ball of condensed energy around him as he drew forth more and more power, siphoning even parts of his own life energy to increase his attack.
Meanwhile he could sense Xiango closing in rapidly. So fast Dain could barely believe it for a being of it’s size, but being knocked to the other side of the world seemed to have it’s advantages. Even if his entire body ached, he just had enough time to charge and as the monster appeared on the horizon, Dain slapped his hands together. “FINAALLL FLLAASSSSSHHHHHH!” He screamed a the top of his lungs, before releasing a wave of energy that quickly grew in size. As it soared towards the monster, it tore a chasm in the ground. Any other foe would have at least needed to block. The beast only blinked though as he saw the attack being released towards him, yet he did not even slow down for a second. Instead he merely seemed to shift it´s weight a bit and turn his shoulder slightly, like a quarterback would before running into an opponent,
As it slammed into the beast though, it barely slowed him down. A grin decorated it’s green face as he charged straight into the attack, the energy merely slowing him down a little. Just then Dain’s clone released his own blast and instantly the two beams melted together, doubling in size and strength. Potent lightning crackling around the beam as the chasm grew wider around it and the whole area trembled under it´s might.
As the new energy reached the beast, for the first time Dain saw a different emotion on it’s face. Perhaps it was not exactly fear, but for once it’s overconfidence was wiped up and it looked serious, perhaps even annoyed as it was forced to a halt. His feet digging deeper into the ground and even pushed back a bit, before it managed to cross it’s arms, deflecting at least some of the damage from it’s body. Dain and his clone roared as they pushed out every bit of energy they had. He could feel every fiber of it’s body burn as he dug for more power. The beam pulsed and sparked as a new wave of energy shot through it and smalled into Xiango.
For a moment it´s three toed massive green feet slid through the Earth, yet somehow they managed to find grip again and then the monster howled loudly, his green energy springing up and seemingly rising even higher as it gritted his teeth and howled. To his upset, no to his disgust! though the monster somehow managed to extend his arms and deflect the beams into space. It soared into space like a javelin missile and faded out as Dain resigned the attack.
“Holy crap baskets!” Dain muttered as he watched the beams going into space and vanish eventually. Both him and his clone sank onto a knee, severely out of breath and covered in sweat. Their arms falling limb next to their bodies as they were completely drained and utterly defeated
“I have to comment you…” Xiango said with a dangerous grin on it’s face as it jumped and landed in front of the three. “You are the first three who actually have managed to hurt me!” It said, covered in little scraps, small cuts and some blisters. Due to it’s massive size though, none of the wounds were more then skin deep and barely slowed it down.
Yet despite everything it did seem to boost Dain´s morale for some reason. At least he had managed to had an effect on the best. Now if only he was allowed to train for a couple hundred years or so, he could probably beat this thing.

The gap was closed and the time had come. His new rifle flopped from over his shoulder into his two tiny paws. It was lifted to eye level and his cheek was pushed firmly against the stock for added support. His only focus at the time was the monster Xiango. He could hear Dain speaking to him and then hear him go into battle with the creature, but his eyesight remained fixated on xiango. With a push of the trigger a beam of purple energy was released from the front of the muzzle. It tore into the earth of the arena creating a long crater as it made way. Just before it would have collided with Xiango in glorious fashion, the beast managed to simply side step it. Pure rage filled within the raccoon.
“You got to be kidding me!
The small raccoon wanted to continue a wordy tirade against the creature. He wanted to insult him up and down, whichever way he possibly could. Unfortunately, this was interrupted by Dain getting punched so hard it sent him sailing to another side of the planet, clear out of the arena. Sly’s bottom jaw nearly dropped to the floor at the witness of the destruction,
“Well, holy hell. That had to hurt a lot.”
Then dread overcame him as Xiango’s attention was shifted to him. One of his meaty green fingers was extended and pointed at Sly. In a rather calm and cool tone, the beast began to speak out to him,
“I’ve said this multiple times, you two will die today. But I’ve changed my mind slightly, you will not die in this arena. It’s too crowded and too confining. Warriors such as us are above fighting it out for the pleasure of savages.”
As Xiango spoke he would slowly rotate his open Palm now pointing towards the crowd who was in a blood raged cheer.
“True warriors don’t die in front of an audience. That is for bone headed thugs. No your death will be fitting. On a battlefield out in the open, not forced to hold back to miss a spectator.”
Sly couldn’t help but laugh slightly at his last comment. Did Xiango think Dain and Sly were the hero types ? Sly wouldn’t needlessly kill a bunch of spectators for sport. However, he wouldn’t go out of his way to avoid them. He figured the spectators would know the risk, and if they got clipped by a missed attack from the raccoon then so be it. Either way, the beast continued his speech.
“So here we go, time for a change of venue little one.”
Sly’s eyes quickly darted down towards the ground, as he sensed it beginning to violently shake. A orange hole of energy then emerged from beneath his feet, and the small raccoon fell into it.
“Oh shit,” Were the only world Sly could muster for the time being. For a brief moment in time, there was a sense of peace. Sly was in between dimensions and it looked beautiful. As it he was floating in space. Then reality came back as he was spit out and landed face first on the other side of the planet. Slowly he rose to his feet, just in time to be greeted from his friend once more.
“Hey Dain, doing pretty good. He just knocked you into next Tuesday though. You not getting tired on me are ya?”
Sly laughed slightly, but it had to be short lived. Xiango has appeared from his own dimensional hole and was beginning to run towards the duo. Thankfully, Dain made the raccoon aware of some new technique he had,
“Good kill this thing with it,”
Sly muttered excitedly as he could feel the ground shake again from the increase of power from his friend. The offensive blast from Dain was sent off a moment later. All the small raccoon could see was a bright light of energy. The beast appeared to be completely enveloped in the blow at first. Sly smiled devilishly, thinking that was the end of the beast.
“Haha”
But then the beams of energy were sent skyward, and Xiango stood there in near perfect health. If that didn’t kill it, then how could they possibly have a chance. That’s when an idea popped into his brain, he shifted towards Dain,
“Alright man, I got it. We need to wear him down for a little bit. Just enough to make his defenses a little weaker. When that happens hit him with that shit again. Then I’ll hit him with my strongest attack from a different angle. There is no way in hell I’d weakened he can dodge or deflect both of us.”
Confidently he nodded at his friend and then shifted his attention back towards Xiango,
“Thanks for the compliment, but we are gonna do much more than hurt you a little. We are gonna hurt you a ton. In fact we are gonna just outright kill you. So yeah.... like prepare to die and stuff.”
The raccoon didn’t have the best way with words, but the point was made and now it was time to start delivering on his promise.
In a full sprint he ran towards Xiango. As the gap closed, Xiango attempted to strike Sly down by sending a violent hammer fist towards his skull. Sly responded by dodging left. The fist of Xiango slammed into the ground, which kicked up rocks and debris. Sly jumped into the air, so he was just above the head of Xiango. He gave a swift kick to the top of the beast’s head, to send himself even higher in the air. He drew his rifle and took aim at the beast. As he slowly started to fall back to earth he would depress the trigger on his rifle once more. The release of energy would yet again race towards Xiango. This time, the green beast was unable to simply side step him. He threw his arms in an X in front of his face to mitigate the blast. Sly’s blast slammed into the arms of Xiango and sent him skidding back several feet.
Sly landed back on the ground and shouted towards Dain,
“His ribs are exposed. Pummel the shit out of him!”

Dain could not agree more with Sly. It was time though they took this more serious. However he was not certain how much more he could give the beast. There was always only so much that could be done. In all truth Dain had been giving it his all and he was barely having anything left.
In a way it was truly invigorating. It made him feel alive, make him want to go back to training. He wanted to keep improving and fight this creature again once he was stronger. The Saiya-Jin dreamed of the moment he could take on the monster by himself and the look on it´s face as he would stop his punch with a single fist. That was what he always had loved the most in the entire universe. To fight someone stronger then him, lose, train and then come back to beat that foe into oblivion. He loved it to surpass his own limitation.
It was just too sad that nowadays almost nobody could keep up with his base form, let alone the fact that he could transform and use Kaio-Ken.
This beastie though… it was actually giving him a pretty good pounding and despite all the pain, anger and humiliation… Dain was loving every moment of it. It was why he had agreed to the deal with the king in the first place.
Sly had granted him and opening and Dain intended to make full use of the situation. In a flash he appeared in front of the beast, his aura flashing up brightly and lightning crackling around his fist. He let out a yell as he began pelting Xiango’s ribs and muscled stomach -you could grind and cut meat on them-, with blows that held enough power to destroy mountains. It was a strange feeling to actually throw his entire training and power into those punches.
Usually he was holding back quite a bit. He tended to telegraph his punches, pull back instead of leaning into his punches and in general not put his full force in. It was a bit like the world he lived in was made of paper sometimes and that if he let go too much, it would all just crumble.
Not this time though. Xiango was not made of paper, he was made of rock solid Katchin and Dain was releasing every bit of strength he could muster.
When he finally stopped though he merely saw the monster grin down at him and his knuckles seemed to be a bit bloody. His hand sending him signals of pain, as if he had been beating on a moon of pure Katchin. “oh… shit…” He said with a powerless voice, as his eyes trembled heavily. His butt already clinching for what was about to come. He almost started to wish he had large chunks of coal ready with him. He could have made a fortune in diamonds by now.
The Saiya-Jin was breathing heavily, blood dripping from the corners of his mouth, flying once more through the air. It had happened so often now, he should start considering claiming he king for airmiles. Yet despite everything a grin was on his face. It had been a long time since he had been pushed this far. Not even in his fight against Genesis, Grey and Tora had he been pushed so far. There was something remarkable about this beast and the longer they fought, the more something in Dain began to awaken. It had started as he met Sly for the first time, but it was still growing. Something he had lost a long time. His lust and prowess in battle.
The sensation rushing through him now was like none other. It was much more then his other lusts. Food and drink were amazing, cigarettes beyond words, but this… this spoke to his entire being. He still remembered meeting Sly though.
Well it would have been hard not to remember Sly to be quite frank. The raccoon had entered his mind and left an impression that would be hard to forget. Of course his friend had been human at the time, but it was the character of this man that had intrigued him and eventually won him over. The man was his best friend and in a way it was a shame Sly was male… and a raccoon. Had he been a Saiya-Jin female Dain would probably have gone out of his way to court her.
Alas, thing were not the case. Even when Sly was still human, he was a male and that definitely was not Dain´s forte. He could honestly say that in his long life, he had never even been tempted like that.
Back then he was a bounty hunter. An incredible one with a success rate of 99% and plenty of power, technology, wealth and everything else to spare. It had been a hollow existence though. Hunting one weak foe after the other. It was a means to an end and he had a good life. Plenty of food, fights, drinks an woman. Yet meeting Sly had been a game changer. Not only had he met a true friend, who always stood by him, he also met a fighter who could rival him. In many ways the man had become a rival for him to push himself with.
Now it had led to this day. Fighting a true monster, that was knocking the two of them around. It was enough to make him smile. If fate willed it that they would die here today, it would not be a bad way to do it. Alongside Sly, giving it their all against the most incredible fighter Dain had ever met.
Not yet though. It was not time yet.
Now was not the time to give up just yet. There was something he still had to achieve and he wanted to keep exploring the universe with Sly. There was still so much to see, so much booze to drink and plenty of woman to sleep with… he guessed he could start keeping rabbits on his ship for Sly…
Of course he had considered keeping raccoons… but those animals were a pest to control and it would definitely be a pain if some of them got out. He liked Sly, but he was not willing to open a raccoon brothel for the guy. If they escaped they would make a proper mess of the Atrioch.
Rabbits though… they were fine. Perhaps they pooped a lot, but that was about it. Plus… he was curious was baby raccoon and rabbits mixed children looked like…
… oh right, flying… with a shock Dain realized he was still hurling through the air and his eyes shot open as he tried to stabilize himself.
Dain stopped himself just before he crashed into a mountain, stabilizing himself by throwing a KI-Blast into it. As it exploded though Dain was already gone. A trail of golden energy was the only thing left as he shot through the air like a bullet, straight for the monster. “Miss me?” He asked with a grin as he landed directly in the monsters back with a double feet flying kick. It was as if he was kicking a solid wall and a shiver went through his body, causing pain. Probably more pain then Xiango had received, but… for the first time, Dain could actually see the monsters knees tremble a bit and it had to take a step forward to stabilize himself.
It seemed their tactic was working, slowly wearing the monster down. The question was just whether they would not be killed a long time before that. “WOULD YOU DIE ALREADY?” It roared furiously, causing the ground to shake as it turned around so fast Dain could not avoid the blow that followed.
His entire body reeled with pain as he slid through the ground, his arms tingling and going numb. At the last split moment he had managed to raise his arms into an X and protect his face. He could feel the bones in his wrist cracking though as the beast laid it’s full weight into the punch, sending him skirting back, his wooden sandals dug deep into the ground. “Why? Are you getting tired already?” Dain asked with a grin as he extended his hand and opened it, so the palm would be facing the monster.
From it came a stream of energy blasts, pelting the monster with as much energy as he had. It barely slowed the monster down as it came with breakneck speeds towards Dain, but the Saiya-Jin warrior could see the tiny wounds appear on the monsters skin.
It was not much. In fact almost nothing at all, but slowly it seemed they were wearing down the enemy.
He did not know whether it mattered though as Xiango now seemed to be so pissed of, he wanted to finish of the Saiya-Jin warrior. Just before he could reach Dain though, the clone swooped in and fired lightning from both his hands. It was hard to say if it actually bothered the monster or deflected of it’s green thick skin. Yet it seemed to give Dain just enough time to vanish before the massive fist struck the ground. A fissure opened in the ground that seemed to be hundreds of meters deep and a moment later a mountain of steam began to rise from the hole.
Meanwhile in the distance entire mountains were crumbling as KI-Blasts that missed finally hit something and the entire area had been obliterated. Leaving it full of holes and craters. At some point Dain had even blasted a hole through the entire planet, from which magma was erupting as they spoke. Black clouds had begun to form in the sky and howling winds were beginning to pick up as the damage they were doing to the planet increased with the minute.
“Well at least we have managed to irritate him…” Dain said with a blood red grin as he erected himself and slid to a halt next to Sly. “… and maybe given him a nasty skin rash.” He said with a grin as he turned his head to Sly. “Your turn! Make it count. Maybe you tickle him under his arms?” Dain said with a grin, before vanishing.
Perhaps that was actually a good tactic. It might even distract him long enough for Sly to get a shot in. On the other hand if the skin of the green monster was as thick as dain thought it was, he wondered if he would even feel it. Well perhaps under it´s arms, but there was no way Dain was going to stick his hands there.
The raccoon had given him an opening before and now it was Dain’s turn. With a grimace on his face he appeared next to Xiango and his clone on the other side. He almost needed his entire reach, but they managed to grasp the beast and hold him down for a split second. “NOW!” Dain yelled. Feeling actual fear as he knew the world of pain that would be coming, as soon as Xiango realized what they were doing and would swat them of like the flies they were.

The time had presented itself and it was Sly's moment to show his usefulness in this fight. Dain with the help of his clone managed to grab hold of the beast for a moment or two, providing the raccoon with a small opening. He knew he had to take advantage of the opportunity as quick as possible. He took of full speed in flight towards Xiango. His power level was raised once more, rejuvenating him slightly and his crooked cane appeared in the raccoo's right paw. However, just before making contact with the beast, Sly came to an abrupt stop. "Suck on this Xiango." The cane with the crooked top was drawn and pointed at the beast, Xiango. Within seconds a massive ball of energy was building just at the end of the cane. Once the energy built to the size of an asteroid, Sly pushed his cane forward, which in then turn bumped into the ball of energy. Instead of just pushing the energy forward slowly, the second the cane made contact with it, the energy took off at blistering speeds. Sly knew this technique could possibly hurt his friend, and his clone, but it was a needed chance if the duo wished to somehow best the creature. The large ball of energy would then violently collide against the chest of the beast. A large cloud of dust and debris would instantly fill the area, obscuring the visibility of the raccoon for a short period of time. Eventually the dust would settle and vision would return to normal. To the surprise of Sly, the beast was now seen fallen to one knee. A large gash across his chest was bleeding heavily. Xiango's breath was labored and it was clear he was incredibly frustrated. He would clear himself from the grasp and Dain and his clone and then rise back to his feet. His teeth gritted as he spoke out to the duo, "You have pushed me further than any other creature ever has. For this, I will grant you a true warriors death. Even your foe will die with you in battle." As the green monster spoke he raised one arm high above his head, and the palm of his hand would open and reach towards the heavens. In an instant a large ball of blue energy would build up within his open palm. The sphere would grow immensely in size, quickly dwarfing the former ball of energy of Sly's. Xiango's energy quickly increased to the size of a planet itself. The green creature laughed as he spoke to the duo, "You see. The two have given me exactly what I need, a real battle. I don't need to take your ship and conquer everything in sight. I needed a good battle, and now we all need a glorious death together. Once this orb grows just a bit more, I will toss it into the ground and blow up the entire planet. Of course this will kill all of us as well. However, it is a worthy death for all of us." Xiango began laughing hysterically. Sly wasn't sure how to respond in this situation. For a moment it appeared as if him and Dain were going to be successful with ther plan of wearing down Xiango, prior to killing him. But now they were forced to find a way to save the planet, so they could save themselves. Sly shifted over to Dain, as Xiango continued to power up his ultimate attack. Nervously the small raccoon talked out to his friend, "So tell me, you got any bright ideas? Cause I have no idea on how to stop such an amount of energy." Just as he finished speaking the enery atop of Xiango grew slightly. This cause the laugh of the beast grow even more. A sense of confidence oozed off of Xiango. It was clear that he fully believed in his capability and plan to obliterate the planet and all of it's inhabitants. Dain SincaraWC: 667 TWC: 8,636 Dain Sincara

Dain’s eyes grew larger as the beast boasted about blowing up the planet. That was really not what he had expected and it made him wonder about the beast. There seemed to be something wrong with him. He was way too much a warrior to let it end like this. It made him even more interested in the being.
If it was possible at all at this point for Dain to be more interested in the being. As they fought he had observed and learned quite a bit. First he was almost certain the beast was not fighting at his full power. Secondly Xiango was skilled beyond words. Just from the little twists in his movements, the phenomenal last moments shifts in weight and the way he was moving. It was like watching a grand master at work. Dain was no slouch, but in terms of skill, this monster was so far beyond him he could hardly believe it.
For now though he had to find a way to block that. There was a way… perhaps something only his immortal body could do. “Yeah… you’d better find a way to take down the monster though.” Dain said with a wavering smile as he pushed a few buttons on his wrist and his black Katchin armor deployed. In a moment he connected with his clone and both performed the same move. Still hanging onto the beasts arms they threw the beast high into the sky and then vanished.
It was a desperate attempt to save the planet and Sly. Well regardless of whether it worked or not, he would probably not have anything left to stop Xiango. This was the most last ditch effort he was capable off.
“… … … … … Heavenly Gate!” Dain said flatly, having been unable to come up with a cooler name for the technique. Just as Xiango stabilized himself in lower orbit, Dain and his clone appeared in front of him. The clone directly in front of Dain and both activated their energy shield, causing the shields to overlap. “Xiango! He bellowed as he raised his hand, formed a pistol and shot a piercing energy blast into the orb that was still growing. For a moment nothing happened, but then Dain clenched his fist and his own blast exploded inside Xiango’s, causing it to destabilize and explode.
Even with him and his clone at full power, it was doubtful they could have stopped the blast. In their current state it was merely an impossible task. The wave of fire and explosions washing over them as a tidal wave.
Their shields and armor merely prevented the main destruction to reach the planet, but it was still enough to light the entire planet and cause it to rock violently. Even in the arena, the king and the people could feel it’s power and flames was over them. It was becoming quickly apparent what kind of battle was taking place on their planet and that today would be a day that would be long remembered.
A moment later Dain and his clone fell from the sky. Their arms covered in blistered and almost scorched black.
For a moment though it had almost felt as if he had been truly dying. There was a vision of his body lying on a flat bed, frozen it seems, undisturbed for centuries, yet suddenly his body began to wriggle and squirm. Cracks appeared in the body as his own was being torn to shreds by the blast and if the attack had been slightly stronger, perhaps it could truly have destroyed his body.
In that single moment though, when death was actually threatening him, his wish to die seemed to vanish and he had struggled to live. Which was surprising as he always thought he had wanted to die.
And maybe he did. Not here though, not now and not at the hands of this beast. Not here!
It was all he had said over and over again to himself in that moment as his body was burned and twisted by that incredible blast of energy. Somehow he had survived it, so perhaps in a way it had helped?
It was about time to end it. There was nothing more to it. Dain’s body was broken and his energy reserves where dwindling. “Okay… ending this.” The Saiya-Jin said with a twisted grin on his face as he pushed himself up from the dirt. Despite all their efforts they had barely dwindled down the monster at all. Perhaps if they both had been at full power they might now stand a chance…
He did not know how Sly was doing though, but Dain could barely stand on his feet. His robe was completely torn and even most of his pants was gone. His black armor had been stripped, piece by piece and his sword broken. Countless wounds were covering his body and several ribs and bones were broken.
His body was already healing itself, but he had noticed that at least part of his healing ability had to do with how much energy he had to spare. If he was mortally wounded without having expanded any energy, he could recover fairly quickly. However in cases like this where his energy had been depleted it always took a lot longer. In this case it could perhaps even take hours before he was back in a fighting position.
“Oh comon, you can do better.” He still managed to bring out as Xiango was charging at him again. “I have seen Sly do more damage when eating ribs…” He said with a thin grin, barely dodging the first blow by jumping backwards, only to be caught by the second. Dain managed to block it with his arm, yet the following kick landed directly in his side. Blood spewed from his lips, like the lava in the background, waves of pain spreading through his body as more ribs decided to crack.
With a bloody mumble he bounced a few times through the air, gathering more dirt every time he landed.
When he finally came to a stop, he was about done. He had a blast fighting this Xiango, but he no longer had the strength. Had it not been for his friend Sly still being there, he probably would have rolled over and taken a long nap. With a smirk on his face he held up the palm of his hand, mumbled a small incantation and a moment later a package of his favorite cigarettes appeared in mid air.
“Sly, catch! If we are going to die, we might as well have that last cigarette we always talked about.” Dain said as he pulled one out and threw the rest of the package to his friend as he pushed himself up a final time.
It probably was a mistake though. Why he and Sly did not simply run away he could later not explain. Both of them could have teleported out of the way and come back at any time. Perhaps it was pride, perhaps it was their professionalism, but -in retro perspective- most likely they were too stupid to think about it. That and too busy surviving.
“Okay that is enough! It is time to end this!” Xiango suddenly said as he broke of his engagement with Sly and appeared on top a mountain of rubble. His arms were crossed and a confident smile was on his lips as the beast let it’s power run wild. Green KI expanded like a gigantic dome around him as he cupped both hands together and moved them to a position around his hips as he began chanting a very frightening word. “KAAAAAA-MMMEEEEE-HHAAAAAA” The beast screamed as a golden light began to form in the palm of his hands and Dain could feel his power soar to new heights.
The entire planet shook under the tremendous power the creature was giving off. For a moment even the dark thunder clouds seemed to be expelled from the sky and Dain knew what was too come. “H-how… w-hy… h-ow?” He stuttered as he watched the energy build up.
He knew that attack all too well. It was simply impossible however for the monster to know it. Utterly impossible! Only Goku knew that technique… and Roshi… and Yamsha… and Krillin… and Gohan… okay, maybe not utterly impossible, but it was at the very least a bad thing. Like his own Final Flash attack, the Kamehameha had the ability to cause the users powerlevel to sky rocket as it bundled all the power together into a single massive blast. Considering Xiango´s normal powerlevel and the amount he was giving off now, it was adamant the creature had been utterly serious about ending this fight.
Tsk there was no longer any choice. It was perhaps a good thing that the cigarette had been just a cover. It was perhaps not honorable, but he could not accept him and his friend dying. Not here. So he had decided to cheat, hiding a senzu bean behind the package. Perhaps he should have been ashamed his own power was not enough and he had to resort to cheating, but right now… with a grimace on his face he quickly popped the senzu bean in his mouth, chewed and swallowed.
“FIIII” “MMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE” “NAAAALLLLLLLLL” “EEEEEEEEEEEEE” “FLAAAAAAAA”“HHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA” “AAAAAAASSSSHHHHHHHH”
With his energy restored, Dain quickly began his own chant and gathered as much power as he could, throwing his own beam into the Kamehameha of Xiango. His own attack was strong enough to destroy the entire planet, yet it failed to compare to the other attack. Despite Dain throwing every bit of power he had into the attack, the Kamehameha was still soaring towards him and even after his clone joined in, the center was still moving towards them.
“Sly… get ready!” Dain said between screams, as he slowly slid backwards, unable to stop the attack. There was one final technique he could try. It was a technique he hated though, as it caused massive damage to his body, even when he was not being pushed to his limits. Still there was not really a choice. “KAIO-KEN TIMES THREE!” He bellowed, as he forced his body to accept a power far above his normal limits.
The technique itself was extremely potent, yet also very dangerous. It forced the body to generate a lot more power then it could naturally handle. From his teachers he had been taught it could even cause the body to explode in a grand fashion.
Instantly new power soared through his body, as his golden aura turned red. His muscles bulked up and veins popped up all over his body. A new wave of power went through his body, as parts of his body seemed to bobble, before stabilizing. “SLY NOW!” Dain bellowed at the top of his lungs as he pushed out every bit of power he could. His beam almost doubling in size and slamming into Xiango’s.
With the new power imput, it finally seemed to stabilize. To his upset though A dome was formed of raw power. His golden energy clashing with the green energy of the beast. It was an apparent stand off, but the build up was so massive that it was obvious that whoever lost, would be completely engulfed by the energy. Perhaps Xiango could survive that, his thick skin having already proven to be a great natural defense. Dain however was not so lucky and he doubted that even his immortal body could withstand a blast of that power.
So he threw everything he had into his attack. Even sacrificing his life energy to keep up with Xiango, who effortlessly seemed to match his energy as if he had more to spare.
It was a futile battle, yet Dain had one trick up his sleeve. Last time he had tried the Kaio Ken times four, it had nearly killed him, but there was no choice. He had to wait for Sly though, timing it perfect for when Sly made his move. If he could time it just right, they might just be able to do it.
——————————————————————————————
OOC: Sly I’d imagine here you’d put whatever you are going to do here.
——————————————————————————————
Just as Sly moved, Dain tensed for a final time his entire body seemed to distort for a second. “KAIO KEN TIMES FOURRRRR!” He bellowed just as the monster was being pushed by Sly and the combined effect of Sly’s and Dain’s full power finally came to fruition.
The increased wave of energy finally overpowering the monster. The dome collapsed an a gigantic beam of energy washed over the monster.
The explosion that followed was enough to wipe out half the continent and Dain barely survived the blast. Sticking up his thump, as he slowly began to fall down, into the crater beneath them. The Saiya-Jin was down and out for the count, his body spend and his energy completely gone. He was barely able to roll onto his side and pull a crumpled cigarette from his pocket, which miraculously seemed to have survived.
He had just lit it and inhaled deeply when he cursed loudly. He had no idea where it came from, but several dozen feet from him, the very green, very big and greatly annoyed body of Xiango hit the dirt. It bounced a few times before it rested motionless in the dirt.
Dain was unable to turn his head at all, but to his upset a moment later he heard a painful groan coming from that direction. The grin faded from his face as he sensed Xiango stumbling back up his feet. It’s power was only a fraction of what it had been and obviously it was injured, yet it was standing and slowly making it’s way to Dain. “Crap baskets…” he said softly, cursing his bloody luck.
With the utmost effort Dain raised his arm in the direction he sensed Sly, biting through the agonizing pain of his torn muscles and transfered whatever KI and life energy he had left towards his friend. You finish it… Dain communicated directly into his friends mind before passing out.
The dream that followed was actually quite pleasant. Dain fell into a deep sleep, an automated response for any normal body. At least a body that is so completely worn out and gravely injured. It was a normal response for any body. In rest there was less movement, so less chance of damage, plus all the bodies energy could be spend in trying to recover from said injuries.
————————————————————————————————
Meanwhile the Peet was just about done on the ship. Just in time it seemed as the chip in Dain’s brain send out an emergency signal, which even Dain was unaware it could. It was something the AI had build in, just in case Dain was ever mortally wounded or lost on the battlefield. She had never told him, as he would have simply told her it was not needed. Still she was happy she had done so. Even from far away, on the other side of the planet she could follow the battle.
Several times the entire horizon lit up and the entire planet had been shaking from the incredible powers the threesome were unleashing. She even had to raise her shield occasionally as derelict blast soared through the landscape, destroying everything in sight.
She had never witnessed such a ferocious battle and it had not exactly made her job easier. On multiple occasions the scavenging bots and the parts she needed were destroyed or buried as the scrap yards collapsed. Yet somehow she had managed to gather all the parts needed. Just in time it seemed. Without wasting any time she increased her shields to maximum and engaged the thrusters. Like a bubble from the ocean, she slowly raised through tons of scrap and thrash that had buried her. As she emerged she may have look the same… aside from being bigger somehow.
The main changes had been on the inside though. Albeit it was impossible to fix all the damage, she did the best she could with the parts available and she managed to make the construction Dain requested.
In theory at least. She had hoped to be able to test it before, but she was out of time. Luckily her main personality was on board the Atrioch and even if she was destroyed, she would not die. Not really anyway. It was the only comfort she had.
Still she made the tools the best she could and the theory had looked solid. If the dynamic due somehow could knock the best out, she was sure she could make it work. “I am on my way boys, hold on a bit longer!” She said as she fired up the main engines and the ship began to move through the landscape towards Sly and Dain.

Sly stood on the sidelines for a moment or two while Dain collided with the beast in violent fashion. The small raccoon was just buying his time until a good opportunity presented itself. As he waited though, he was able to observe some amazing things from the battle between Xiango and Dain. He could not help, but be impressed by the technique Dain pulled off. It seemed to more than triple his power level, perhaps it would be enough to actually level the playing field against the beast. Without a hitch he reached his paw out and clutched the cigarette thrown by Dain. Instantly he lit it up and began puffing on it, preparing for their likely deaths. Then he heard the words spew out of the mouth of Xinago. His cigarette fell from his snout and to the ground from the shock, "How does he know such a powerful attack. It seems like its perfected judging by the form too." As he witnessed the attack unleash itself, he could do nothing but hold his paw in front of his eyes to shield the blinding light. Throw the spaces in his claws he could witness the attack being challenged with one of Dain's, but it didn't appear to be strong enough to stop the attack in it's entirety. But then Dain, managed to pull some more energy from out of nowhere and put it into his attack. The two blasts were seemingly equaling each other out. Sly knew now was his time, if he could just distract the beast for a moment then he would be able to turn the tide of the battle. He lunged high into the air, just so he was above Xiango and Dain. In his paw formed a grenade out of energy. With a quick throw, it landed on the ground directly next to the beast's feet. It instantly caused a major explosion, forcing the beast to lose focus. The raccoon wasn't entirely sure of what followed next, all he could remember was a massive explosion and a blinding light filling the whole battlefield. The force sent him flying and skidding into the ground. Shakily he stood up, all he could hear was a slight ringing. His vision was blurry and unsteady as he rose back to his feet. As the ringing began to leave his ears, he could hear his friend shouting out to him. His vision clears and his hearing fixed itself as he felt Dain give him a bit of his remaining energy. "That'll help, I got this." As the beast rose to it's feet it began to walk over to Dain and stand over him. It was clear the intent of Xiango was to finish the warrior off. With a laugh the beast stood over Dain and began to speak out to him. "You tried, that one almost did it. But I am going to kill you and then I am going to kill your frie........." Blood was coughed from the beast and his hand moved towards his chest. When Xiango looked down, all he could see a was a massive blade that had impaled him sticking through his chest. Holding the the other end of the blade was the small raccoon Sly. He managed to use the energy given from his friend to change the shape of his cane weapon to a massive sword of energy. The beast's eyes went from the massive wound in his chest and back to Dain, "you... you..... bested me.... but how." Xiango collapsed to his feet and then fell flat on his face. The two had managed to claim victory over the unbeatable foe. Sly walked over to his friend and tossed back some energy so Dain could at least move slightly. "Here ya go buddy, I think it's time we find away outta here." Dain SincaraWC: 642 TWC: 9,278

At first Dain could not move at all. His entire body felt like it had been torn to shreds and all across spasms kept appearing. Like a bubble forming into the very flesh itself, ready to burst at any moment. He had been told that the technique was very dangerous and could actually cause his body to explode. It was why he had always been hesitant to use it. Now he had very little choice and he figured that was all his recent training and power gain, he might have been able to handle it. If not… well he was going to die anyway. At the time it had seemed like the right thing to do.
Now he was regretting it though as the pain that came from his body deforming all over, was at the very least in the top ten of worst pains he had ever experienced. He probably would have been screaming too, had he had the energy for it. Instead he just laid there, a very soft grunt escaping his lips.
He barely registered the fact that Sly managed to take down the beast. At the very least not until his friend had returned some energy to him. Dain quickly used it to stabilize himself and then… summon two bottles and cigars from thin air of course.
It was his basic instinct and he had done so without even thinking about it. For most people that might have been the first clue to call an intervention, setup AAA meetings or send him to a convent where he could become a monk. -Albeit… monks tended to drink quite a bit of wine, so that might not actually be too bad…- However for Dain that was not even coming into the question. He had his liver replaced three times and his stomach twice, but never had he even slightly considered he had an alcohol problem. Those who had considered it now quietly kept to themselves as Dain had taken offensive at some point and had started killing those who suggested.
It might have seemed an odd thing to do. All around them the planet was still settling down after the throw down that just had happened. Entire mountain ranges were still in the process of crumbling, hurricanes were forming and vanishing as volcanoes kept erupting and throughout the entire planet Earthquakes were happening as the plates and crust itself were rocking. They themselves were sitting in a crater big enough to hide the entire palace in twice over and it was slowly beginning to fill up as ground water started to break through the molten edge.
Ironically it was also the first step towards an economic golden age and eventually the uplifting of the planet into a free, proud galactic power. As it turned out the Planet was actually incredibly rich in raw materials.
To understand this you need to understand how the planet was actually formed. The planet where Dain and Sly had traveled to was originally not a planet at all. It was a garbage area for some kind of super space empire. They had not known what to do with all their thrash, so they had created a pocket dimension, threw in a black hole and started dumping. Eventually so much matter was dumped that the black holed closed, leaving only a minor gravity anomaly behind. Around that anomaly, matter gathered and over the centuries the planet was formed. The more mass it got, the more all matter clumped together and at some point the core had become molten like a proper planet. However most garbage actually contains quite a bit of valuable materials. Like every chip has a bit of gold. Saw blades were diamond lined. Etc. By themselves these pieces were incredibly small, but over the centuries those small bits tend to end up. To the point where the core of the planet now consisted for over 70% of materials like diamond, gold, platinum etc.
Of course the inhabitants -people who were thrown in there for a life sentence or accidentally wandered in- did not know that. Since there was no tectonic activity, the materials had never been transported from the core back to the surface. Until this battle threw the entire planet out of wack and alot of the materials were now transported to the surface, along with tons of magma. Once the inhabitants found this out, it was only a matter of time before they began mining and soon became rich beyond words. As wealth makes right, they eventually made contact with the outside world, managed to transport their world from the pocket dimension and create a galactic empire, purely based on the indescribable wealth coming from their planets core.
Ironically they had to create pocket dimension to dump their waste material in from all the mining, eventually causing the process to repeat. -Now we are talking in millions of years though, so we will let that be for now.-
Of course the true irony was the fact that due to an accident their planet eventually imploded and formed the start of a brand new black hole. Or so it was thought. Perhaps hoped. What actually happened was the formation of a white hole. A miniature big bang, spewing new materials back into the universe. In this case all the thrash that had been dumped into the previous blackhole was now being spat out. To this day the area has been quarantined and a fleet of ships or constantly picking up the trash and destroying it. -with weapon grade fire off course-
“Well here is to another easy mission complete. How about we take a difficult one next time?” Dain said, as he rolled his shoulders and ruffled through his hair. Small rocks, leaves and twigs were still lodged in his black hair from all the times he had been used as a broom by the beast and… even Dain could not maintain a straight face through his joke.
A loud laughter broke from his lips as he tossed Dain the bottle and cigar. “Aww fuck me! Let’s never do this again!” He said still laughing loudly. Not because it was truly happy, but because his body was flooded with hormones, shooting him straight up like the strongest drug. They somehow had survived against all odds and neither of them was dead. “At the very least not until next friday.” He finished as his laughter slowly went into a grin and he raised his glass to his friend.
He had barely lit his cigar though when he heard the rumbling in the far distance and Petey appeared in the distance. Within a few seconds she arrived above them, where she held and then she spoke. Not directly to them, but rather from the ships speakers.
“Good, it seems you are still alive. From what I can tell you had quite a battle and honestly I am surprised at your restraint. You merely destroyed half the planet…” She said and Dain was almost certain she just tried to be sarcastic. Dain merely grinned as a reply, not in the mood to start a talk with his AI. All he wanted to do was enjoy a drink and smoke with his friend. Enjoy their victory.
Of course his AI did not agree.“Okay I am beaming the three of you on board and then we are going to the palace to collect your reward.” She continued without any regard for what the flesh and blood beings wanted.
A moment later the three were on board the ship. Dain had to -begrudgingly- admit that she at least took the effort to transport the two of them into a comfortable chair. Xiango though was not so lucky. He had been transported into some kind of cage, that Peet had just finished building.
Normally Dain would never have agreed to transport such a being on board his ship, especially not an enemy, but the king had offered to tripple the reward if they took the beast with them. Of course at the time Dain had figured they would be able to defeat the beast a bit more easily. Even so, he had given Peet instructions to build a special kind of cage. It was made of Katchin, naturally, but incorporated an energy suppression system he encountered on a planet once inhabited by an ancient people.
They were so advanced they could see into all thirteen and a half dimensions and their technology was simply beyond words. A perfect fusion of nature and technological, it still boggled Dain’s mind. The planet he had actually visited was an artificial one, build by that race as a research station around a black hole. Just that fact had been beyond him and from what he got, that was actually the easy part.
In any case he had noticed that on the planet he could not access his energy at all. It was as if he was a mere mortal human with a PL of five. Unable to fly or even form the most basic energy blast.
He had not cared much about it, but Peet had discovered a few small secrets and apparently figured out the trick to that. Or something. She had tried to explain it, but after five minutes he felt like his brains were about to bleed through his ears and had given up. Still it seemed like an opportunity. “So how is it holding?” He asked the AI as he nudged to the cage.
“To be honest? Hard to say. I am ninety percent sure it could work. However with the being almost dead and still bleeding out, it would be difficult to test and to be honest… I am happy I don’t have to.” She replied honestly feeling glad she did not have to test it. Even if here design worked, it was still only a watery design of what she witnessed on that planet, build from whatever scrap she could get her hands on. Even if it worked, she did not know how long it would hold, before overloading.
“Okay here is the deal. We got offered four times the bounty to take him with us. Apparently he has a tendency to survive fatal wounds, so the king wanted to be sure he was gone.” Dain said seriously as he looked at his friend, before taking a huge sip of his brandy. “However it is a risk. If you want we can kill him here, or take him and dump him into a sun once we are gone. What do you want to do?” He asked Sly.
Normally he did not adhere to asking people what to do, but he respected his friend and his opinion. Heck he even made him co captain. “However I a hoping to recruit him. He seemed to be longing for a good fight and we have bested him… perhaps we can interest him into joining us when we get back to our universe. It is a huge risk, but he could be an asset.” Dain said, as he finally explained the true reasons he did what he did. He could care less about the king, this planet or the reward. What he did see however was the potential of the beast and his Saiya-Jin blood was already itching for a rematch. He wanted to defeat the beast at some point with his own power.
“In any case, how about we go to the king, collect the reward and then we take a nice long three week nap?” Dain said with a grin, as he put down the glass.
At least there was merit to the idea. Albeit Dain also had other plans for the king he was not willing to disclose just yet. Not because he was afraid Sly or someone else might object, but rather that they would support him and do it before he had the chance to complete it.

Whatever was going on within Sly's body was only worsened by the heavy battling. He expelled nearly all of his energy, which was seeming to rapidly increase the deterioration of the small raccoon's internal organs. His body was seemingly shutting down without him even realizing anything was happened at first. All he could remember was blacking out for a moment after conquering the beast and then coming back to inside Dain's ship as he was forced to listen to the saiyans AI speak about whatever they accomplished.
His head was still spinning, but with a deep breath he was able to collect himself enough to listen to his friend. If he was honest, Sly was extremely surprised by Dain. He could not believe Dain could think of keeping this creature alive after the hell they just went through. But as Dain continued speaking, it started to make more and more sense. Not enough where if it was solely Sly's decision he would keep the creature alive. But enough for him to be okay with the thought of keeping him alive would bother him. If it was his friend wanted, then he would be completely fine with it. Of course, four times the pay always helps smooth things over as well,
"That sounds fine to me buddy. I could use the extra money anyways. Let's go see the king and collect our cash. Also, let's hope your cage actually does its job and hold this Xiango creature inside of it. I do not have the energy to go through another battle like that just yet."
A sense of woozy filled up the small raccoons head and he nearly fell out of his chair. Using all the energy remaining in his small little frame, the raccoon managed to keep his balance within the char. A coughing fit quickly followed the feeling of woozy within Sly. He covered his snout with his paws. Once the coughing came to a stop, Sly pulled his paws away from his face and looked at them. Given his condition, having blood on his paws was not much of a surprise. The surprising development was the blood appeared to be an almost pitch black. Showing that his systems were beginning to fail at a much more rapid pace. He tried to hide his initial reaction, but it slipped through a bit. A feeling of worry could be seen on the small raccoon's face, he did not want to die yet. He had so much more to steal, but he was beginning to lose hope of ever finding his ship.
"Well. shit.... That doesn't look good."
He held out his paws so Dain could see the black blood and the worsening condition of him,
"Let's get to this king as quickly as possible. I want to enjoy some of my money before I die."
He let out a sigh as he heard the AI of the ship seemingly accept his request and take off in flight. The flight was short, but to Sly it felt like an eternity. He was weighing out every possibility and his odds. In his mind he decided the likelihood of finding his ship in the middle of the universe was slim to none. The tracking device had been compromised, by whoever took over his ship during his absence. And he had no idea what part of the universe it could even be in at this time. Due to this, his mind wondered on what he could do to enjoy his last days. The decision was made to blow all of the money the raccoon had accrued. It would be a proper send off for him, or at least Sly felt so.
Eventually the duo would land at the front of the kingdom and the bay doors to the ship would open,
"Well let's get to it and meet this king once more."
An achey raccoon would come to his feet, after finishing his drink of course, and head way to the open bay door. Within moments they would reach the king, who was still dressed as interesting as ever. As Sly and Dain approached the king would come to his feet and start a loud thunderous clap within his castle. Once it settled he would speak cheerfully,
"Amazing, Simply Amazing. I thought I would be disappointed about my champion being defeated. But he was becoming too much to handle. It would of only been a matter of time, before the beast escaped and ruined all of our lives. Again thank yo so much for taking that beast out, and if by any chance you kept it alive. I would love to know, I want to speak to Xinago if possible."
Sly didn't respond he simply nodded as the king spoke. Sly turned to his friend Dain and shrugged his shoulders,
"Up to you buddy, whatever you wanna do is fine by me."
