The rising sun was a sign that a new day had arrived. As the darkness slowly disappeared by the light from above. Lorthark, who was training outside on a grass field surrounded by tall rocks, noticed the sun coming up. He was out all night to train with his new sword he got from his father. The balance from his new weapon was different then any other he used before. Slightly heavier handle and a blade which was made from a lighter, stronger material. That was an ideal combination for the young warrior. A better grip and a faster swing movement for lethal attacks. His training wasn't finished yet. The time you needed to have full control over a weapon was more than those nightly hours. Practice is one thing. Using it during a life-threatening situation was entirely different. Today might be a day for that kind of situation. One last mission before Lorthark followed his own path. The feeling of being stuck dominated his other senses. There was more to do in life and more space to grow his potential.
After a quick shower and some clean clothes, he entered the planning room where his parents and brother where waiting. One giant screen on the wall showed every detail about the mission that the family was going to execute. First, the location. North City, specifically the mountains that surrounded the city. Second, the task. The board from one of the factories in the town had received intel about a program that would bloom their economy by increasing their manufacturing. Finding out where it was and stealing it was the job. Sounded simple to be carried out. Only it wasn't. The person that they were taking the product from was known to have robots as a bodyguard. Those machines followed the guy everywhere he went. It was no problem to get rid of those by brute force or even hacking them. The issue was that there were probably more than the ones shown to the outside world. Rumors said that this person had a whole army of self-made robots. True or not, it was a reason to get some extra hands to complete this mission. Lorthark's cousins were invited to join him and his family. A twin who was three years older than him excelled in finding targets with their scouting technology. They also were great fighters.
Everything was prepared, and the family was ready to leave. The twin, Martell, and Gin, went first. They had a small aircraft with some sensor technology on board. It will be used to scan their search area for the exact location. Lorthark and his family had a small plane of their own for travel purpose only. The distance between the two places was too far them to fly on their own strength. It will take to much energy from them, the power they might need for any struggles they will face. Having transport was also handy after they succeeded in their task as they could come back without or little energy.

Both aircrafts arrived at the given positions. The plane from the twin stayed in the air as it reached the edge from North City and the mountain while the other aircraft landed on a safe, abandoned place nearby at the foot of the hill away from the possible menace. There they waited from a signal from the two others in the air.
Flying over the mountains while sending a different kind of vibrations to find out what the exact location is from their target. Some of those vibrations went true the surface as others reflected back like a light on a mirror. The ones that came back showed irregularity of natural element. That could mean that there was more iron than usual, other types of rocks for the common area. Most of the time this was the place that the group was looking for. It was a start. That plane from Lorthatk cousins had more to offer then sending some vibration waves to find the irregularity. Vibrations that were transmitted back were formed into data on a computer on the plane. That computer gave an image from the aberration they found. A digital map was made and sent to all participants from the mission. All fighters got a digital bracelet for communication and to know where to go. Now they had a map, knew where the entrance was. The plan gave three entries, exits. One of the three was taller, which usually means that it was the main entrance and that the other two were an emergency exit.
Number one from their list was done, they had found the exact location for step number two. To claim or steal the program for their client. After a quick update from the plan, all men and woman took their places. Lorthark and his brother, who had a mechanic left arm, took their position at the main door. Mother and father took one of the two smaller doors as the twin took the last remaining one. The plan was simple, to begin with. Enter with brute force all at once and wait for a reaction. Will they fight back or run away with their tails between their legs. Every organization had a different view on break-ins like these. If the rumors were true, then there should be an army waiting inside for them. Guessing for what could happen or not was a waste of time, it was time for action.
Astalac, his one year older brother was the one in charge for the sign. He was the one who would open the main door using his mechanical arm. The force he could produce with that arm was the same as six rushing rhino's. As every two men team was in the position, they all saw one commen thing. The door in front of them was made of steel. Not ordinary steel, it had the same steel then Lorthark sword that he got from his father. No problem for the two brothers, neither for the other two teams as they had their own methods to enter a closed building.
Astalac made from his had a fist. A green glow was coming from his left arm as he charged it with energy for opening the door. A release of a little bit of steam was the sign that the weapon was loaded for maximum power. The blond haired man placed his feet diagonal with his left foot in front of him. His right foot was pushed into the ground as he started his run towards the door. During his run, he counted down.
"3,2,1. Go!"
Two explosions and an enormous noise followed a second after the command was given. All entries were open, and the task from these six people began.
Lorthark and his brother stood before a wide opening in the mountainside. They waited till the dust went away. Rushing in without any sight behind the cloud of dust was not wise. The two waited an extra second with caution. Lorthark took his new sword while his brother charged his arm one more time, this time with less energy. Two creatures appeared when the dust fell towards the ground. Machines, the same as on the photo's shown as the bodyguard came from behind the cloud. Pointing their arms towards the two brothers, while the arms became energy guns after a quick scan notifying them as uninvited guests. It was time for action. No scared persons were found.
Lightfooted Lorthark ran towards the robot on the right side. A smile appeared on his lips as he knew what will follow next. More fighting, which he enjoyed very much. Gaining some height with a simple jump brought him in a position to throw his sword to the small robotic neck as it raised its head. The blade, made of the same material as the machine, sliced through the metal and wires. One specific throw was enough for this robots defeat. The head fell from its body on the ground.
The second body fell right after. Astalac uses a different kind of fighting style than his brother relying more on energy techniques then physical strength.

Every team had entered the base that was hidden inside the mountain. Little light came forth from the big opening. A corridor lighted up by a single row of lights followed the main door. The two brothers, who shared a smile before they entered the base, enjoyed the thrill of ignorance. Not knowing what will come pleasured the two. Unpredicted missions were the best ones. Their father, who took a different entry, did not agree with them. He believed that succeeding missions were about discipline. Every step, every breath you made must be planned in advance. Taking useless risk could cost someone's life. A prize to expensive to pay.
Everyone was in, it was time to execute the plan. Retrieve that precious program. Astalac and Lorthark entered and started to walk deeper inside the base by following the only path in front of them. No single sound was heard besides there own footsteps that echoed through the hallway. Strange was the word of their thoughts. More was expected with an entrance like this. Perhaps the men from inside went to defend one entry than to protect them all. Probably their troops weren't that large then others suggested. This sure wasn't what the youngest of the family hoped for, he had expected to have at least a little bit of fun before the main dish arrived.
Something else caught his eye when walking further inside the cave. Their communication wristbands couldn't receive any signal. That couldn't be an error, it was a self-made concept from the twin. Not able to communicate with each other wasn't that big of a deal. This group had a lot of successful missions together. Knowing each other replaced the communication gear for a large part. This little malfunction was proof that this mission could get more laborious than it was at that moment. A minute passed by without seeing or hearing anyone. These walls inside where thick, made of the natural stone from the mountain mixed with steel plates and beams for support. The brothers had passed several working places as they arrived by a splitting. This splitting gave the boys two options. First one was to keep going straight following the path and the second one was to turn right away. Separating from each other was no alternative. Guessing was their option now. Both men had enough of following this single path and decided to take that right turn. This corridor had the same lightning as the main hallway, one single row of lights placed on the ceiling.
The pace from the two changed from walking into a little jog. The enjoyment from ignorance transformed into frustration. Action, that was what the brothers wanted. Work, that was what they needed. Silence and hallways that looked the same were not the way to fulfill their time. Was this place that big? Or did the two ran in circles? It seemed that they were running in circles. The so-called main gate was just a deception. It was a place on its own. Rumbling and dirt falling on the brothers head made them stop their movement. That was how they knew that they were not in the right place. More and louder rumbling followed shortly after the first rumbles.
Astalac was more energy sensitive then Lorthark was, and so was his sensing ability. The whole group was nearby, so it was no wonder that they could sense each other. The oldest brother focused more on the other teams' energy levels which gave him an idea that they were on the other side of the wall where they stood still. Astalac charged his left arm once again. He wanted to force his way through the wall that stood between him and his family. Taking all the space in the small corridor, he leaned back and pushed himself forwards. A gigantic rumble followed afterward with a cloud of dust. A new opening was made. One that brought everyone back together.
Lorthark lifted his head up to look around. Finding out where all that rumble came from. His parents and cousins were fighting a whole army of robots half the seize he knocked down at the front gate. A swarm of machines came thru three doors behind a single old man that stood on a higher platform. Not much was said as the family made eye contact with each other. The scene spoke for itself. This old man was their target, and he knew why they were here.
"Finally you guys arrived. I hope I can give you as much fun as these guys."
With an indication to the others, the old man spoke those words referring to Lorthark and his one year older brother. Time to help the others was nil as robots were sent to the two.
The real battle finally began. A right hook followed by a left one knocked the first robot away from Lorthark. It didn't take long for a second machine to support its downed companion. One by one they came and dropped to the ground. The whole group stood their ground and held the robots away from them, destroying, disarming them. Making them unable to move more. The old man still stood there on his platform. A smile on his face showed the family that this battle was not over yet and that he still had something hidden.
"Behold! My ultimate weapon, my shield. Come, my children!"
All robots that laid on the ground, broken or not, started to move. Metal pieces began to fly thru the air all towards its owner, the old man. The machines inside the room began to form a suit around the man. This armor made the man bigger. Twice his size, in length and wideness. With this, the situation changed drastically.
