Nasch | Yoroshu The beast didn't give anyone much time to react. It's torrent of electrical and energy attacks whipped through the antechamber like an elaborate light show in a dimly lit club. Kuueru gritted her teeth but managed to stumble to her feet after being disoriented by the stunning attack. Despite it missing, the remnants in the air were still very much charged. Surely it was taking a toll on all of them, but still—they persisted.
At least she got the word out about the key, at least---she hoped that was what it was. She didn't have much time to read any of the inscriptions on the door's surface before defending herself.
Still, Nasch had been hit, and Yoroshu had barely seemed to avoid an attack. The gravity seemed to be affecting him more than the others, perhaps he was an Earthling? She snapped back to the task at hand, meanwhile the Sphinx was continuing to paw, blast and bite at the trio in tandem. The woman jumped away from a slobber covered maw while Nasch recovered and Yoroshu tried to grab the beast's attention.
"Good plan, all right---I can get in there close, don't worry about that," Kuueru uttered to the men of the room. She was fast, yes, but she also had the ability to instantly teleport to where she needed to be. It was an exhaustive technique, but it certainly had its value in this fight. For now, she had to help subdue the beast.
The demoness outstretched a hand, a long wire of energy began to snake from her palm. From it a fog of cost mist radiated from the makeshift whip. It was cold, one would be able to feel the chill in the area if they were to get close to Kuueru. She cracked the whip against the ground to test its reactiveness, then she was gone.
"Be quelled beast!" She ran hastily towards the beast's extremities, then she cast out her line. The long azure energy outreached towards the back pair of legs before wrapping around the haunches. With a strong tug the whip tightened and hog tied the legs causing the massive beast to become quite front heavy. It bowed before the other two, and she prepared to make her move. That is, as soon as Nasch did his part to loosen the latches upon the Sphinx's giant headdress. WC: 398 | 3578

Nasch | Yoroshu It seemed that these three enjoyed working as a team. Kuueru stood there for a moment observing the other two not only fight and distracts the mega Sphinx but pry themselves from the dirt afterwards. Yoroshu went hard at work on roughing up the enemy. He put on quite the light show for them all and managed to piss the beast off beyond belief. She held onto her whip tightly to try and contain the thrashing of the creature, still—Nasch was soon making his own moves too.
She watched anxiously, her arms buckling to contain the hind legs as he worked on prying the key sphere from the headdress. Seconds suddenly felt like minutes as she watched the man ride the lightning cannon of a mechanical bull like a pro. Impressive. What was more shocking however was him yelling 'catch' at her as she held the beast steady.
"W-What!?" Kuueru managed to utter, but it was much too late. The sphere came hurling her way, and as she caught it, she realized just how much it weighed. Quickly she turned to the door and shoved the sphere into the beveled wall. That was when the intricate engravings in the stone door began to flood with magical light. It gradually radiated until the entire room was bathed in an azure huge. Finally, the door seemed to open, however----It surely seemed slow. Perhaps that was due to the beast being free from her restraints.
She panicked internally as Nasch congregated with Yoroshu and sprinted her way. She waved him on to the next hallway, still the beast was turning and noticing that they were choosing to flee. Kuueru bit her lips and ran through the doorway after the men. Still, immediately after they entered, the door behind them shut.
It was dark. Pitch Black. Bits of stone and debris fell from the ceiling onto their heads as the Sphinx thrashed around in the former room. Its angry cries could be heard, but it would subdue eventually, right?
"Damn darkness," Kuueru mumbled before holding up a hand. Within it she radiated her own aura to illuminate at least the immediate area. It smelled rather damp, and Kuueru couldn't make out any objects in the room despite her flaming hand. It just looked empty, besides the hallway that stretched out at the back of the room.

Nasch Finally, they had narrowly escaped.
The entire scene resembled one of those old flicks about a man raiding a tomb and avoiding a variety of anticlimactic traps and enemies. At least in the movies, the protagonist never caught a break. Here at least, they had a brief moment of respite.
The demoness huffed loudly, her hands then reached up and to tie back the long rivers of pink hair. It was hot down here, despite them descending deeper into the earth, the temperature was rising, and the air was becoming thinner. Meanwhile, Yoroshu seemed to be rather irritated. It appeared he was distraught with the fact that he didn't get to smash the Sphinx into the dirt, not that it would have been an issue for them. Still, Kuueru didn't wish to waste the energy now. Not with the Demonic scrawlings on the walls that may have indicated a bigger threat deeper in the guts of the winding dungeon.
As Nasch leaned against the wall, the Earthling managed to disappear into the ground. Kuueru jerked towards where Yoroshu once stood, her face painting the perfect expression of bewilderment. "W-What the…W-WHERE DID HE GO!?"
Nasch seemed to inquire with her if she thought he'd be all right, but with such a complex labyrinth he very well be currently a meal for some giant beast deeper in the maze. She blocked the thought from her mind and tried to move towards a more positive thought of him out by his ship, frolicking off the planet. "I-I'm sure he'll be fine."
A bit of nervous laughter followed, and her azure light mixed with the Saiyan's green lantern. Their auras bathed the small chamber in cool tones. They both explored the room, her eyes occasionally wandering over the various writings, the paintings as well as the strange alter in the center of the room. Her companion seemed to be enthralled by it, and she could only inquire about what it was used for.
The demoness walked towards it, her tired eyes soon shifting to the eerily lit green face that spoke like a phantom. Of course, the general question that everyone asked, not only of her, but as a sort of introduction to conversation. Where was she from?
Her shoulders slumped, and she managed to march up the alter with heavy feet. It was almost as if she was trying to set off some sort of trap; alas, nothing happened with her concrete footsteps. Upon the platform were old stains of blood and other viscous liquids long past dried. At least, she had hoped they were old, there were so many layers it was hard for her to judge. This was clearly an altar of sacrifice, probably used in demonic rituals if she had to guess.
"I am---not of this realm," Kuueru mumbled before walking back down the platform before slowly making her way towards the sole hallway at the end of the chamber. If the map she had read was correct, there was the possibility of glory and treasure just after the next hallway. However, with that the woman very much assumed there was a trap as well.
"I come from the Demon Realm, you may have heard of such a place. I started my ventures into this realm about a year ago, so I'm still adjusting to a lot of things," The woman responded somberly before turning back to face the man with about as friendly of a smile as she could muster. She spoke so casually of skipping between realms with heavy barriers, but she had been working on the task for almost as long as she had been living. No one could question the demoness's effort to explore the extent of the universe.
"What about you? You seem quite the warrior yourself, I'm sure you have some elaborate history, right? Alas, I won't be upset if you chose to keep that to yourself." There was no other imminent threats, so if the pair wanted or needed a break to catch their footing, Kuueru was in no rush to progress right away. WC: 682 | 4656

Nasch Kuueru could sense the tension in the air after such an admission. Still, she hoped that the Saiyan Nasch wouldn't look at her too differently now. Not that he hadn't been wary of her since she arrived. It had to be something to do with her aura, it was icy and cold. A certain sense of dread emanated from her very core, on top of that, it didn't help that she carried a power that would make anyone in the area breathe a little heavier. She didn't mean to boast her own strength, but part of the demon in her enjoyed striking fear into other's hearts. It was an odd conflict that she battled with daily.
"Ahh, I tend to leave the past, erm---in the past." Kuueru noted as the man spoke on his warrior past. While she would have loved to dig into the conversation more, this didn't seem to be the time or place for a history lesson on Nasch. Either way, the man was already exploring the rest of the room before they made the trek to the last chamber. Though, at this point Kuueru half expected to run into some sort of evil witch or slobbering monster. Either would make for a good time however.
"Yeah, I've been adjusting. I've made plenty of comrades with my time here at least, it makes things go more smoothly," Kuueru felt her face grow hot at the mention of her 'overwhelming power' being the first impression she gave off to the man. While she was semi-prideful, she didn't like to scare people off or intimidate them with her strength, at least those who weren't her enemies.
"I erm---yeah, I forget about that sometimes. I suppose when you have nearly eight centuries to work on bettering yourself, you kinda get strong," Kuueru rubbed her rosy cheek before moving on to his comment on her appearance.
"That's what I was going for with this disguise. Well, I guess it's just kind of become my appearance now. Trust me, I don't look so Earthly in my true form."
Though, what the Saiyan said next made her think. What was it like? What was it like to be able to kill thousands of people without batting an eye. Did the demoness revel in the fact that she had the power of hundreds if not thousands of martial artists? Of course, she was too prideful not too. Did she display it though? Hardly.
"I mean, I suppose you can live life without much worry, that's for sure. At the same time, like the ocean, there are bigger fish out there than me. You better believe that having a power level like this is like having a beacon on you. People will hunt you down over it. People will strive to kill you over it. As much as it's a tool to my advantage, it's a risk and a burden I live with."
Kuueru said her piece. As to what she had done with her power, the list was much longer. Often the woman felt like a bullet without a cause. Wandering the galaxy to finally rest and relax after centuries of fighting just to live in her home realm. Maybe she was enjoying her downtime for too long? Maybe it was just time to make new goals. The woman focused her energy around the box of a room and feeling out with her energy she immediately could see which wall was the thinnest in the room. She walked past the altar and towards the Eastern wall from where they came from. Her palm pressed to it, the cold and moist stone leaving a film of grime upon her hand. She knocked upon the wall, it made an odd sound.
"This is the way," Kuueru stated simply before taking a step back. She inhaled sharply, and then----she exhaled. It was a boon of icy mist. As it condensed on the surface of the stone, it immediately froze. Then, she simply punched it. The wall cracked, shattered and fell to the floor in hundreds of crystalline pieces. Behind said wall was another hallway, albeit this one leading to the final room. Whatever that held. WC: 701 | 5357

Nasch The demon was no stranger to being interrogated, ironically normally she was the one asking a barrage of questions. She never minded answering a curious mind, especially one of a warrior race. She felt the life of a demon mirrored their own in some ways. Both were prideful, both produced strong fighters, both were savages in nature. At least, those were the stereotypes that Kuueru had encountered in her brief encounters with his kind. Still, Nasch seemed different. He was cool headed and collected, at least from what she had seen in the hour of time she had known him. Now that she thought about it, they had been crawling their way through this tomb for quite a while. She was now curious about how deep these caverns went.
Alas, there was still clear skepticism in Nasch's expression. A sigh pressed from her lips as she began to make her way down the hallway. It felt as if it were getting narrower by the minute. The smell of wet limestone assaulted her senses. Her delicate fingertips traces between the damp walls, and although their journey down this hallway seemed to be like a magical spell causing them to wander endlessly, she was sure that at the end of this spiraling hallway was their treasure.
"You don't really know me to know I'm impressive though, for all you know I could bite the heads off bats and do sacrificial rituals using Saiyans." Kuueru was bad at making jokes. Perhaps her turning her head back and giving the boy a smile in the dim light also was a bit too ominous. Nevertheless, she still did it. "There's always the future though Nasch, there's more advantages to be had with each day we keep living. This too, is valuable experience, that's certainly an advantage."
Kuueru spoke like an old wise man, which---she practically was. With years of knowledge beyond Nasch, she had learnt many of life lessons centuries ago. She felt it important to bless those less fortunate than herself with such advice, in hopes they could live their own life to the fullest.
"As for survival, don't you find this fun? I mean, the Sphinx was cute, a good exercise for sure. I was eager to see both of your skills in battle however, it was refreshing to see."
After a while, they had made it. The light at the end of the tunnel, quite literally. Kuueru smiled and continued to trek forward, though not without a word of warning from her new companion. She looked back to him with a beaming face before nodding. "You too pal, here's to finding what we were looking for."
She rushed towards the light, in as careful fashion as her rustic boots could muster. Once there, it was just as they had imagined. A room plastered in gold and idealistic statues. There were gems, parting gifts for the King, and of course, the sarcophagus. Everything looked untouched, a bit dusty, but untouched. Lavender eyes reflected the light beaming from the room, and the woman lifted off once they had enough room overhead. She hovered cautiously over the ground and began to audit the assets that littered the room.
"Jeez, there is a lot to sift through here, eh," Kuueru mumbled with a tired voice. She was here specifically for the next location in her proverbial star map.
"I'm here for a particular piece of treasure if it's here that is. It's a map," Kuueru mumbled as she began to shift through the various golden coins, trinkets and statues. Though, it wasn't long before the door they came through, shut. Like rats, again they were stuck. For now, Kuueru didn't seem to worry much about it, of course---she also could teleport out and off the planet in the blink of an eye.
"Man, they sure are creative…." WC: 643 | 6000

ICE COLD It was hard to ignore the glitz and glamour that filled the room to focus on her own search. Alas, she was here for one thing and one thing only, besides, the woman had more wealth than she knew what to do with. What, with her pension from the Galactic Empire and her Zeni amassed from being connected to the local economy on Hollow, her and Lute's personal planet. Still, where was this damn map? Her eyes scanned through and through all this gold, treasure and whatnot to no avail. Not only would it take hours to sift through it all properly, but they didn't have that amount of time. Surely the air was thin down here, and that door shutting on made her light headed. She looked towards her companion who for a moment seemed to be flustered and fiddling with the door, but he soon relinquished that duty and moved on to exploring the room. Perhaps her ease had passed on to him and he sensed there was no risk or urgency immediately facing them. At least, not until they perhaps opened that coffin that he seemed entranced by. Kuueru huffed, not finding her map, but maybe Nasch was onto something. What if the treasure she sought was also where he was eager to dig. She hovered over to the man, his eyes meeting her own as he awaited permission to open the sarcophagus. She simply nodded and awaited whatever lurked within. Hopefully just some bones and things for the taking. "Go ahead, and don't fret. There will be that future. I don't aim to die to something as silly as a mummy or something," Kuueru laughed and imagined the sight. A wrapped corpse popping out of the box and attacking the two of them. Still, what harm could some undead creature do? She would just incinerate the beast with ease. Alas, once the cover was removed. It wasn't a beast. It wasn't some horrible mummy. It was just a dead man. His skin and muscle were long since gone, but the bones remained. His skull was decorated in an elaborate headdress encrusted with jewels of a rare variety. His body was in robes that were half degraded. However, as the woman hovered over the bits of bones and broken man, something stirred within the bones. There was an aura. Kuueru knew it, THERE WAS A MUMMY, a mummy that was about to rise and fight them. At least, that's what she thought. However, the King's eyes began to glow a dull azure as he focused on the two. Then, in an instant it locked eyes with Kuueru. She froze, her body becoming rigid before it ultimately fell to the ground. She grunted in pain, but still, even that was hard to achieve. "D-Damn it, I can't move Nasch. I….what the hell kinda spell is this?" Kuueru mumbled under her breath as the skeleton began to stir from it's resting place. "Don't look at it! AVOID ITS GAZE!" Kuueru mumbled a last bit of advice to the man as she struggled to even move her lips. She sat there, on her knees, struggling against the spell. Yet, any words of magic she dared uttered never made it to her lips. This source of Demonic magic was something that far surpassed her own skills. "Y-You have to defeat it, I…I can't break this spell." Kuueru sounded utterly defeated, and worse, hopeless. What little in her heart remained she had put on Nasch. If anyone could defeat this undead king, it would have to be him.

ICE COLD Kuueru was sitting there, her knees scuffed from her fall to the floor. Her muscles were so rigid now that even talking was a struggle. It appeared that this spell was like a venom, only constricting her further as it ran rampant on her body. All she could do is watch now. Nasch seemed in shock. It had to be either because someone of her strength was taken down, and he was the next target. All that Kuueru could do now was offer him advice, and hope that he could defeat the undead king. "Damn it," Kuueru uttered while staring down at her hand that pressed into the dirt of the ground. She tried to move even the tiniest of her fingers, to no avail. She was frustrated, angry and more so upset that someone else was now dealing with something she should have handled. A ferocious grunt pressed from her lips as she tried to fight against the spell, to no avail. "FOCUS!" Kuueru mumbled as the man seemed to be frozen in his tracks. Kuueru would be a fool to admit she didn't feel the same chill as the Saiyan, alas, he needed to keep his head in the game if he had any intentions of defeating the boney enemy before them. Kuueru could handle the cold, for she was a demon of the ice variety. Still, any words she could offer the man to help him achieve this task were worth saying. She shot him a look of determination, all the while trying to cease any future stares from the Demon King. "You have this, I'm going to try and fight the hold of this spell. J-Just do your best!" Kuueru uttered before noticing her pinky was now free moving. Progress! Kuueru would take as much positivity as she could muster now, this was a good sign that the spell only had a hold over a person for a small amount of time, she would fight it's hold for now." That's when it hit her. His power. Wide-eyed she stared at the viridian warrior, the Nasch she had been with this entire escapade was now replaced with something else. Pure rage had taken over his body, and with it, a reckless power ready to be slung towards the enemy. The woman sat there, watching as the man finished drawing out his laden energy and made his move. Punches moved so fast she couldn't count them, the sounds of them hitting brittle, yet magic infused, bones was deafening. Still, this 'frail' looking king had some power in him. He fought toe to toe with the Saiyan, slinging him across the room somehow. A hand! Her hand was free, she clenched her fist and continued working against the curse that pinned her like a rat to the ground. At this rate, maybe she would be able to use her arm before the Saiyan was killed? Joking, of course. Still, she felt the thud of the skeleton king land before her. With it, she felt free. She stood quickly, and that was it. The entirety of the room dropped nearly thirty degrees in temperature. There was a chill erupting from the dust storm that Nasch had erupted, from it an unnerving level of power erupted. It had to be millions if put to a number. The weight in the room appeared to quadruple with the enormous amount of energy bearing down. As the dust settled, the pink haired woman was no longer. In her place was a woman of cool hues and illustrious fabrics. Jewelry of gold adorned her body, and she stood above the skeleton king, her heeled foot pressing into his rib cage. All it took was one step. She crushed the glowing azure heart that rested just beyond his sternum, and with it—the light and demonic energy vanished. That is, except for the tremendous dark energy that radiated from her own being. She gazed up at Nasch who addressed her. She nodded to him, notating that she was indeed all right. "Good job. Sorry about that, he caught me off guard," Kuueru mumbled before moving her heel to his skill which broke just as easily.

ICE COLD "Is... that you...? Kuueru?" The woman snapped back to reality. Dumby. Of course, she had forgotten that this man hadn't seen this form, and in turn would probably think she was some sort of enemy and lash out. Still, her energy felt the same, if not multiplied dramatically. She looked to Nasch, her eyes wide with a bit of flush rolling over her cool toned cheeks. Underneath it all, her blood was blue and it definitely showed in her icy flesh."Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to catch you off guard---I just saw the opportunity. It seemed after you smashed him into the ground his hold on me weakened, I was able to move again. Thank you for that." Kuueru spoke as the man moved closer. He seemed to be not only tired, but in shock of this form that she maintained. Quickly, her body shifted, in a flash of light the former pink-haired woman clad in archaic tunic reappeared in her place. Her cheerful lavender eyes met the man's as she waved a hand trying to soothe his worries about her somehow turning on him like some sort of savage. While there was a certain rage and malice that ran through her veins with such power, she considered herself to have a decent hold on it."Yeah, I'm golden, are you okay though? He got you a few times…" The woman spoke in a worried tone, her gaze scanning over Nasch's body in search of scruffs, lacerations or bruises. Fortunately, it seemed that he was not in critical danger. She smiled and gave the Saiyan a hearty smack on the arm. "We did it! Oh yeah, the map! I almost forgot. Grab what you want from here, and I'll get us out quickly," Kuueru muttered before prancing her way past the finally deceased bones and towards the coffin where it formerly rested. She easily lifted the solid metal lid and flipped it upwards. Within the top was scrawled an intricated message. Various symbols, runes, and other indiscernible things caught the Demon's eyes. "Ah, so that's where it is" The map on the inside of the sarcophagus began to glow, the symbols shifting and a small blip of light moving upon the surface. The treasure had moved and was moving. Still, this map gave her a glimpse of what quadrant of the galaxy it was hidden. Better yet, it showed her the energy attached to the treasure. She grinned and turned to Nasch with a thumbs up prepared. She seemed relatively happy despite the circumstances."All right, you ready?" Kuueru questioned the Saiyan before making her way to his side. As soon as he had collected anything from the tomb that he desired and could carry, the woman would ask for his hand. Then---came the fun part.Dizzying colors flew past the pair. There was a deafening cacophony of sounds that resembled thousands of conversations happening at once. They were traveling through time and space itself. Just as quickly as they entered the strange place, they were back outside of the tomb, conveniently near the ship Nasch had used to travel to Taldoreia VX. The woman braced her eyes from the blinding sunlight and smiled towards the Saiyan whom she had just spent way too much time with in a dark place."Ahhh, you should be good to go from here eh? It truly was a pleasure my friend!" Kuueru smiled and offered a brief salutation. One day, maybe her path would cross with the Saiyan again. Either way, she now had his energy signature devoted to memory. If she ever needed to track down the warrior, it would be but a blink of her eyes and she could come to his side."I…hope that everything goes well with---you trying to remember who you were. I am someone who does the opposite, so I can't empathize with your struggle. However, you're a strong man, I hope that when and where we do cross paths in the future, you prove to me just how much stronger you've became, okay?"The woman took a few steps back from the taller man, before giving him one last wave and smile. Her pink tresses whipped to and fro with the heavy winds of the dessert, and then—nothing. Like a dream the woman disappeared from both the spoke she occupied, and the very planet itself. She was already back on her personal planet of Hollow by now, soaking in the familiar Demonic energy that quelled her worries.
