Yoroshu landed on the barren planet of Taldoreia XV, he had acquired a spaceship by means he thought he abandoned. He was just travelling the stars for fun in his new ship that he totally didn't steal, when he hopped off the ship he nearly crumpled to the ground, the gravity was heavier than Earth, this was a hard adjustment. Each step was torture, he nearly face planted into the sand several times before he managed to get a good vantage point from a particularly high sand dune. And then he set sights on the cavernous structure, he saw a figure watching towards it. He couldn't make out any details but he was glad to know he wasn't the only one on this planet, he also saw an opportunity to fight someone. He chuckled, not comprehending what could be inside the cavern. He forced himself up and trudged towards the dunes, it was very hard for him to run, each step felt like he was carrying large stones with him, yet he forced himself to continue running, he refused to pass up adventure, he ran and ran, nearly collapsing by the time he neared the cavern, he tried to sense the energy, but he was too tired to make it too clear, but it was familiar. He kept forcing himself to the steps before he managed to make out who the figure was, his eyes widened... Word Count: 236| Nasch

Nasch | Yoroshu Taldoreia XV.
It was one of the many planets Kuueru had come to educate herself on in the year following her birth into the Mortal Realm. Having such a blank slate of knowledge on even the basic cosmology of the galaxy wasn't doing her any favors, still, the demoness persisted in her search for glory, recognition and even a few trinkets along the way.
That's why she was here. Another dreadful and sand encompassed rock to dredge through in her journey to obtain another precious relic. While she could be certain that the one object she was looking for wasn't on Taldoreia, the steps to unlocking it most certainly could be. Even if she was on the completely wrong track in her search, perhaps she could pick up a cool trinket or souvenir from the tombs she had heard so much about.
Kuueru wasn't quite the cautious type however. Her booming beacon of power clearly reached out for miles on the barren planet. As soon as she instantly transmitted herself onto the gravity heavy planet she took a sharp inhale of the planet's atmosphere. Sand and heat stung at her nares, and immediately she began to feel out into the world for her target.
Most people who emerge from the Demon Realm are sensitive to magic or at least can point it out in a room. On this planet however, there was an obvious target a few kilometers away. Magical and somewhat dark energies seeped into the air from the cavernous tomb. The woman was off, her brilliant pink locks whipping wildly behind her as she rocketed off towards the beacon of mystical power. It wasn't long before she was at the tomb's entrance.
Shivers ran up her spine; she was certainly excited for any leads. Still, she wondered if someone had already had the same idea, was this tomb already pillaged for its good? No, there was still too much bad mojo radiating from its depths. She would have to explore to get a better idea.
"Here we go," The demoness muttered to herself as she descended to the sandy ground and began to delve her way into the cave as well. She couldn't sense much coming in terms of another's power. Thought certainly, anything already inside or around would feel the pressure her aura submitted them to. WC: 389 | 389

Nasch | Yoroshu Of course, things couldn't just be simple, could they? All that she wanted to do was go into the tomb, explore, grab some things that didn't belong to her, and then teleport herself as far away from this no-name planet as possible. Alas, nothing in life came without conflict or snares. The voice of a rather proper sounding man rang through her head, and a sigh soon pressed from her lips. While Kuueru was quite the friendly woman, sometimes social interaction just wasn't at the top of her list.
"Hn, friends or foes?" Kuueru retorted before turning slowly on her heel to notice there were not one, but two new arrivals to the tomb alongside of her. Boy, they sure did creep up on her, not surprising considering one seemed to have a nonexistent power level and the other was rather lacking whether or not he was suppressing.
"I suppose that all depends on if you punch me or not," Kuueru cracked a smile and reached out to grab the hand of the burly looking Saiyan. It was rather obvious what he was based on the stereotypical armor and flamboyant gravity defying hair, despite the rough gravity of this planet, it still splayed out like an ebony river from his crown.
"As for your pal, he seems to be, constipated? I think that's what they call it," Kuueru pointed towards the long-haired boy who lingered behind the diplomat of the group. He seemed like he was struggling with something, unfortunately Kuueru had nothing to go off other than his power rising and his face contorting into a rather amusing expression.
"Aye, guess I wasn't very original in my idea. I am just here to explore a bit, hopefully we aren't trying to get in each other's way? Right?" It sounded more threatening than perhaps she meant it to. Combined with the stern expression she was giving, one might even be offended. Still, Kuueru wasn't the best with mannerism or greetings despite her one year of time amongst the mortals. WC: 339 | 728

Nasch | Yoroshu The Saiyan's handshake was firm, he didn't back down when it came to initiating contact with wolf in sheep's clothing. While Kuueru certainly looked human, the aura she produced was not only powerful, but filled with malice and something that almost turned the stomach. It was the chaotic and demonic energies that moved in synergy within her very being, and it was something that served her well in the face of enemies.
"Nasch," Kuueru repeated and pointed a free hand at the Saiyan.
"And, Yoroshu. Got ya---I suppose I should be able to remember those well enough! I am Kuueru, nice to meet you two," Kuueru replied while pointing at Yoroshu and then herself when her introduction came. She was easy going but get on her bad side and one might be wishing otherwise. It wasn't until Nasch's comments on not being stupid reminded the woman of her power. She gulped hard and suddenly the air fell still. The power level that once stretched into the hundreds of thousands vanished to something much more alongside their own auras.
"O---Oh, yeah sorry about that. I forget that its probably not the best to roll around the galaxy with your power hangin' out," Kuueru chuckled and turned back to look at the tomb. While she was eager to go digging through the dust and bones of some deceased king or queen, making acquaintances was never a bad idea.
"Well, I have an idea about what I am looking for, and my search has led me here for the new clue in my puzzle per say. Hopefully this will get me one step closer to what I truly and aiming to obtain. Still, finding some fancy magical object or gold wouldn't make for a bad day either, eh? What about you two? You both know each other correct? I assume you're both a pair of bandit fighters who aim to stir up some trouble? Either way, I'm not opposed to any help. These old ruins and tomb are often boobytrapped or loaded with magical curses, best to be safe."
Kuueru beamed, she loved digging through all things magic, but these two didn't seem like the type. Perhaps they were just adventurous? Maybe they wanted to ambush her inside the tomb? Either way, she wasn't too worried. If they wanted a few scraps of gold, so be it. Her true objective wasn't here, so there shouldn't be any conflict.
"Alas, we should be careful," With that the demoness turned back towards the stairs that led into a rather dark, and questionable path. She watched her every step, unsure of what was around the next corner, but the mystery was part of the fun. WC: 451 | 1179

Nasch | Yoroshu It seemed that the pair of boys had no issue with exploring a possibly dangerous tomb. Kuueru always kept her guard up when mystics were involved, after all she had plenty of experience with it and had seen the extent of its capabilities. Hell, even when she met Lute he was chained to a pillar by a powerful spell. If not for her happening upon the Namekian, he surely would have perished.
Therefore, when they made their way down the spiraling steps, she shivered a bit as the torches illuminated. While their hue was quite beautiful and helpful, it was eerie beyond belief. Her eyes which matched the color of the flames widened and she lowered her pace to stay close to the pair of new comrades. While she may have been strong, there were things that would render even her power completely useless.
"G—Geez, do you not find that creepy!?" Kuueru murmured under her breath before they finally reached the open area. The walls were immaculate and seemed to sprawl upwards forever. Whoever prepared this tomb for the king certainly honored him greatly.
"Ahh, yes—it is quite a sight to see. Still, the air is so cold down here, don't you two think?" Kuueru spoke as she rubbed her arms. While she liked the cold, there was a certain feeling about this room that was frigid. There was more to explore beyond, but for now the woman let her eyes dance upon the various inscriptions and hieroglyphics that were scathed into the stone surroundings.
She couldn't be sure of what period this king died, but the writing seemed to be something from hundreds of years ago.
"Some of this writing is demon…" Kuueru caught herself before she lamented about the demonic runes scribbled upon the walls. She instead turned her attention towards the multiple hallways. While this room was nice, there was clearly nothing of value besides the knowledge one would gain from sitting here all day and translating.
"It looks like some demon language…" She corrected herself before running her fingers over the dusty engravings while walking towards the choice of hallways ahead. It was pitch dark ahead, she wondered if there would be torches down those hallways if they so chose to venture down one of them. Just as she was getting close however, she froze in terror
"OH NO OH NO OH NO!" A blood curdling shriek emitted from her voice, but she quickly cupped her mouth. She stood wide eyed before turning to the pair and pointing at a large rodent that scampered past them and back towards the entrance of the tomb. Her chest was heaving, her but soon she calmed herself.
"O—Oh, it's just….an animal. Sorry." Kuueru cleared her throat and began walking back towards the pair to see what they wanted to do.
"So, I'm not getting to much from the inscriptions, wadda bout y'a----" Just then the woman's foot began to sink into the floor. A single brick was retreating into the ground, and with it several clicks followed.
She moved fast, an expansive bubble of magic encasing not only her, but the men as well. Luckily, her reaction time saved them as a section of wall opened and a slew of arrows shot towards their heads. The crudely made weapons pinged against her forcefield and clanked to the stone flooring.
"Eh….sorry about that, man—for being the one to warn about this stuff, I sure am being troublesome." WC: 582 | 1761

Nasch | Yoroshu Kuueru let out a sigh of relief once her shield had dispersed and everyone in the party was free of holes. She didn't want or need her and her newfound friends resembling swiss cheese. Quickly after Yoroshu gave his thanks, while Nasch seemed to be lost in thought. She was making a fool of herself for sure, but in her defense, she wasn't one who normally traveled in a group. Most of her outings were by herself and usually related to food or travel. Not necessarily messing with tombs so deeply rooted in demonic magic that they tried to kill her. The woman would be sure to watch her footing from here on out, despite this. They all seemed eager to delve deeper into the tomb, at least they were determined.
"I have faced off against zombies before, they are not a pretty sight, and the smell----ugh," Kuueru recollected herself as Nasch examined the trap that she had tripped. All the while she admired the beautiful architecture that was surrounding them. Still, if they wanted to explore, they needed to move on. The Saiyan man led the way and Kuueru closely followed behind in case any other animals wanted to surprise her and make her look stupid. "Ugh, this is why I can't do those haunted houses on Earth, I'm bad with surprises."
The torches kept illuminating as they walked, it was like a work of fiction; so much so, the woman pinched herself to ensure she was still conscious. "This is wild though, there has to be some sort of steady flow of magical energy or someone here to keep this energy flowing ya know? We might run into something or, someone we don't want to."
It was solid advice, usually magic needed a fuel source to work. The fact that this place had been here for a while and was still fueling itself was no coincidence. Perhaps the source of energy was a nice old wizard, or perhaps some arcana crazed beast that was connected to the tome? It could be anything at this point, and the thought only put the demoness on guard.
"Huh, yeah---lemme see," Kuueru snapped back to reality as the Saiyan leader brought up her name and pleaded with her to try and decipher the inscription. She supposed the cat was out of the bag about her ability to recognize the characters and read them, so she had better sate their needs as well. Her hands dug into her hips as she leaned in to examine the words. They were clear all right, and the language was only a few centuries old.
"The demonic tongue is always evolving and shifting, luckily this one isn't that old. But it says, 'The path to the right, isn't always right. . . however the path to the left leads to death. Pick your battle and win, and both take you to the end. . ."
Kuueru chuckled slightly. Clearly she understood what it meant, there was even a neat little map under the inscription, thought you wouldn't be able to tell without understanding the words. Her finger ran along the beveling of the image before she began to explain.
"Both paths lead to the same conclusion, it's just which risk do you want to take? It seems to be suggesting we take the right, but should we trust it?" Kuueru smiled and turned to the pair before tapping a finger upon her chin curiously.
"I'm down for either, but----if you have a better suggestion, I'm all ears." WC: 593 | 2354

Nasch | Yoroshu While Kuueru didn't mind making a decision for the team, she felt it only diplomatic to get everyone's say before diving headfirst into a possible death sentence. After a few words from Yoroshu it was clear that the Saiyan clad in armor would be the one making the call. After all, Kuueru was down to try either path; both appeared to be an adventure or challenge for the demoness. The thrill of the unknown was something utterly euphoric for Kuueru.
"Left huh? Not many people would run straight towards death. Still, I can agree with that decision. Hell, in my opinion either way is going to be some sort of trap to kill us off, so fun down either path." Kuueru shot the boys a smile. She was a weird one. Finding fun in mayhem and chaos was truly a demonic trait to have. Most preferred to stay on the safe side of the proverbial street. Kuueru however, dove headfirst into fires.
"Right, let's fly like the birds," Kuueru nodded and began to hover off the ground herself. Nasch wasn't a fool. After seeing the pressurized traps in the floor from earlier, they would be dumb to keep treading on foot. While, Kuueru could easily sense physical threats coming her way, if there truly were more magical or demonic traps lurking ahead, they too could probably catch the trio off guard. Mitigating as many risks as they could be the best option for now.
It was a long path down. They were floating and conversing for a solid ten minutes before they even managed to hit the dead end that was this ornate and elaborate door. Immediately the stench burned her nares. The scent of sulfur, it reminded her of home. The woman chuckled and let her eyes fall shut for a moment. In her head she could see the low hanging clouds, the crimson skies, and the carnage all around here. This place reminded her of the planet Hollow she and Lute had captured and now called home. A demonic fountain and perhaps a direct link to the Demon Realm here in the Mortal Plane. If so, the very air in this place would prove to be corrupting and powerful.
"Ahh, do you feel that? The air in here is laden with demonic energy. Watch yourself, it can corrupt your very soul if you don't stay focused," Kuueru stated before Nasch gave the word to open the door. The creaking was an alert to anyone in the area, good or bad. The Saiyan seemed to be struggling to open the opalescent gates despite his strength, whatever material they were crafted in was a dense stone.
"What the hell is that?" Kuueru blurted out at the sight of the entity that erupted into electrical energy. It was brilliant and lit up the entirety of its chamber with an azure hue. Kuueru shielded her eyes from the light with a forearm, still it was hard to get a decent look at the beast. "Wh—Why did we take this path again? HAHAHAHAHA" Kuueru began to burst into laughter. Perhaps it was nerves or maybe she was just excited to throw down with something she didn't have to worry about holding back against. The demoness cracked her knuckles and looked towards the beast which she now recognized as a Sphinx. She had seen some knowledge of the ancient statues, but seeing one come to life and sprout magical wings was a radical sight to say the lead.
"Stay quick on your toes guys," Kuueru encouraged after Nasch mentioned them spreading out. In a moment the demoness was gone. Fortunately for the group she hadn't just teleported off the planet. Instead she now lingered near the Sphinx's rear. If they had it surrounded it at least had to focus on one or two of them at a time. They couldn't afford to lose anything here though. Not over some stupid treasure.
She took a few steps back to the door that lingered behind the beast. Unfortunately, there was a beveling shaped like half a sphere that was missing. From what she could gather, it matched the one sending a blinding blue hue from the Sphinx's headpiece. Perhaps that was the key? The size seemed way too similar to not be connected.
"Look at the headdress, the key!" Kuueru shouted as the magnificent beast turned to her voice. One of the giant paws swiped at her. Kuueru however, was blindingly fast and able to move out of the way of its attack. Still, it left behind a residual electricity that ran up her legs. She felt sluggish, her muscles tensed up and spasmed. Whatever effects this beast had were giving her all the handicaps.
"G-Guh, watch out, that lightning stuns you!" Kuueru mumbled as one of the beams of lighting shot out not only at her, but towards Nasch and Yoroshu. This thing could multitask, and boy was it angry. WC: 826 | 3180
