High orbit over Planet Ikonda...Cam looked out the Viewport of the Omnipotence, the Super-destroyer was quite noticeable, even from this far away the ship was miles long, it took up the space of a county when it landed--which is why it rarely ever did, the ship was meant to be maintained in the sky and never leave it once it lifted off, but it was certainly able to dispatch smaller war cruiser and outrunner ships, the crew in the tens of thousands. He had sent out a correspondence for one of his agents that had shown promise--a namekian, perhaps unsurprisingly the Crusher Corp. didn't have many namekians within it so Cam made it a point to remember the remarkable fighters. A summons with coordinates and an attack pod retrieval unit sent for towards Faller; every Crusher Corp. member was given a communications device or scouter so that they could be contacted, Faller was no different. Luckily Absolut was more on demand, "Duria, bring me Absolut. I think it's time to set the wheels in motion to end our war with Ikonda," looking towards his Lieutenant, "Coca. You're taking a command aboard the Megalomania with Colla down to the planet." His attempted-to-be bride ticked her head up from her datapad. Colla had been studying up on what information both the Dominion and the Kabochans had on the Ikondan military as a whole, looking up at Cam, she put on that hint of a smile--the same one her father wore when he was confident things would go his way. She had been wearing it since Cam had allowed the Dominion to come and go on his territory, she did everything Cam asked of her, which at this point hadn't been much past a few pleasantries and logistical questions on the Dominion, as well as trying to ask exactly what a Super Saiyan was. Colla hadn't been able to provide much answers in that avenue, unfortunately, but talking with her was pleasant enough. She seemed surprisingly elated with the Emperor who, only a few days ago, had been a very real threat to the Dominion, Cam still didn't know what to make of her, but that sort of determination would come later, he wanted to see her and his pupils and associates in action. Absolut's training or resting or whatever he was doing would be cut short, his trainer and handler Duria escorting the adolescent Frost demon to the bridge. Once Faller arrived, Cam would lay out the plan before his two agents, "Colla and Coca are your commanding points of contact. Coca will command from the air, Colla from the ground. The mission is reconnaissance, specifically we need a location to establish a foothold on the planet. We're looking for two things: Somewhere we can establish a foothold, and more specifically, we need to know how the Ikondans defend themselves. Kabochans have never held a foothold for long, and any ones we have were completely removed, and I mean completely. We need to know how. Faller, Absolut, I'm giving each of you a small command, I'll let you sort out who does what, we'll be providing support from the air as we can. There's two gunships being prepped for you both right now aboard the Megalomania," Cam then leaned back, asking simply, "Any questions?"

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil
As was starting to get regular in the last days, Absolut didn't get to do much training today, as immediately after waking up, he was summoned by his Saiyan trainer Duria to meet with Mr. Cam as soon as possible. A few minutes later, the young Frost Demon ran out of his room, aiming for the ship's bridge.
The last few days have been days of surprising progress. The battle in the orbit of Planet Ikonda showed Absolut exactly what parts of his battle strategy were weak, which were strong and which needed improvement, and combining this with intense training under Duria's watch meant that the Frost Demon really shot in power level in the last few days. Sure, it was still nothing exceptional and the Saiyan was still stronger than him, not even talking about Mr. Cam, but compare Absolut to what he was like in the past? More confident, more battle hardened, more experienced, a lot stronger... even his father would struggle to imagine that this is how far he had grown.
And he had to thank Mr. Cam for a lot of that growth, even if Absolut was also still aware that the Kabochan kept him around for selfish reasons.
Upon arriving to the ship's bridge, Absolut was greeted with the sight of Mr. Cam, Faller, the Namekian who was trying to join the Crusher Corps and got to fight the Frost Demon during an exhibition match, and Colla, the Saiyan woman who helped Cam, Absolut and Meiku during the Ikonda battle. She's still here? I thought she would have wanted to return back to the Dominion with her father... Maybe this was just something Absolut wasn't aware of, or an expression of continued cooperation between Kabocha and the Dominion.
Cam's orders were... odd - he and Faller were designated as recon agents, about to be inserted to Ikonda to scout the planet and find the reason why the Kabochans have never been able to land on the planet's surface and establish a permanent foothold. A squad of soldiers and a warship was going to be assigned to each of their command, and...
Wait, what?!
I... I'll have to command soldiers?! But...
He... never really saw himself as a leader anytime in his life. He still considered himself to be just a kid entangled in developments much greater than him. And yet, Cam already trusted him this much?
Well, this only means that he'll have to prove himself worthy of that trust.
After Cam requested any questions, Absolut raised his hand and spoke:
"I... I have a question. Do you... have any clue of what we might need to look for on Ikonda? Any hints or guesses on what this thing with which the Ikondans defend themselves?.."

"Ugh..... What happened...?" Faller awoke in what appeared to be a medical facility. He was placed in a bed with bandages wrapped around his arms, legs, neck and head. This was a big change in scenery for the Namek, as his last memories were that of being on a street, badly beaten. But he could not remember the reason, nor the cause that led him there. "Why does my... Everything, hurt? How did I even get here?" Faller tried flexing his hands, he could move them, but it was indeed painful. "Oh good, you're awake. You have a visitor sir. I'll bring him to you. A man dressed in white, who appeared to be the doctor stood in the room with Faller, he was reading something on a board that had a drawn makeup of Faller's anatomy. He did however leave the room to bring someone. "Wait...! No! Come...back. Guh... Why? How did I get so beaten? How could this have happened to me? Aree my brother... Where are you? I need your council." The room stayed quiet, as did Faller's mind. His brother has been gone since Faller had dawned the K Demon Mark from Kuureu months ago. He cannot help but feel very alone without Aree. He doesn't feel like the Demoness had anything to do with Aree's missing, but he doesn't feel the immense power that he was promised by her neither. Not yet perhaps. "Hello Mr. Faller. Pleasure to meet you." A man dressed in light blue stood at the doorway. He wasn't Human, but he appeared to be associated with the Crusher Corps. He even had their badge on his suit. "Who are you? And what do you want?" The Namekian was clearly annoyed by what he was presented with. Especially being in the position he was in. Laying in a bed where he cannot recall his beating. And this is the first bit of interaction he is faced with? He hopes this doesn't mean much. "I am a Courier from the Crusher Corps leader Cam sir. It is good to see you are awake. The leader wishes to see you on the bridge whenever you are available. He has a task for you." "The Bridge? A task? I'm on a ship?" Were thoughts that rattled Faller's already hurt mind more. He never knew he was onboard a ship till just now. And that Cam has missions for Faller. "What? A "task"? I don't work for the Crusher Corps! I didn't accept Cam's offer months ago to join him and the child! I wanted to leave, to find my brother! But you people kept me in your systems and prevented me from leaving! And now he has something for me to do for him? Why would I ever accept that? Who the hell does Cam think he is to me?""Well Mr. Faller you are partially responsible for the damage caused in a city on Genesis a few weeks ago." The courier brought pictures of the city in partial ruin showing it in smoke and destroyed buildings and vehicles. Faller was responsible for it. Though it also lists another unknown female assailant who was not found or identified. "And our leader is willing to forgive and withdraw your involvement in the damages on the city's pay. If you're willing to help him in this task he has for you, and join the Crusher Corps, sir." The courier left it at that, open for Faller to make a choice in what he wanted to do. Leave and become a fugitive on the run from the Crusher Corps? Or take up Cam's offer. A few days past as Faller's wounds began to heal and eventually, the Namekian was able to walk out of the bed. He was able to find his attire. Aside from his cape, his clothes stayed mostly the same. The cape though was new. It had shoulder guards wrapped with the cape. It felt like a gift. Faller started faintly testing his strength and seeing if he was back to his normal power. He was at least 80% but he felt like he could take whatever was coming. He began to get dressed and prepared himself for whatever was next. But as Faller put his robe over his chest on, the medical door opened again. This time, Crusher Corps troopers. "Faller. Lord Cam wishes to see you on the bridge." And this was it. Faller could kill these troopers, make a run for it and escape. Or he could choose to side and work with Cam and his beloved Corps. Faller finished tying the knot around his robe. "Take me to him."" And with that, Faller's fate was sealed. He was escorted by this squad of troopers to enter Cam's bridge. The ship felt massive. It felt bigger than the last ship he was on with the Demoness. Faller could feel many powers on this ship. Many equal to his, or less. But there were but two who stood out. Only because he had felt them before. And they were in the same area. Once Faller entered the bridge, there they were. Cam, and the Frost Demon, Absolut. Faller walked in and stood across from Absolut, with his arms crossed. As Cam laid out the mission and plan Absolut did ask valid questions about the Ikonda people. They are known to be warlike. But Faller's question was a little more about the persons involved in what. "My question to you Cam, is do you want me to work with him... Or are we doing this from our own points?" Faller did not really care for working with the Frost Demon. He merely wanted to know if one will be focused on one objective or both together. Cam Emperor AbsolutWC: 964 / TWC: 964

"Technology," Cam answered to Absolut, "Their cities are masked by their oceans and due to the copper content in the water, getting a clear scan that can give us any data is difficult to put it mildly. If you can make it into the oceans while wearing a scouter, all the data you record is something we can analyze and figure out just what's going on. But that's just it, we don't know how they're able to clean the surface so thoroughly. My guess is they have some sort of sensor array throughout the planet that alerts them of foreign presences. Make no mistake, you won't remain hidden for long. I suggest you both working together. Safety in numbers, even the weakest of the Ikondan race is still a serious threat if you underestimate them." "Also, if you get captured... Well, don't. I don't think I need to tell you that they don't like outsiders, but I wager Ikondans have never seen an Arcosian or a Namekian and would be keen on slicing you open like specimens if it benefited them." Leaning back in his command chair he looked to Colla, "I leave it in your capable hands," the armored Saiyan woman stepped forward, beckoning for Absolut and Faller to follow her, "As the Emperor said, neither of you will be alone. I suggest establishing a base first then doing recon, I'll be frank. We have little to no intel on this enemy. We know what sort of weapons and armor they use and some of their fighting techniques but we're flying blind, I've seen some training videos with both of you though. You should be able to handle yourselves against this enemy though. We'll be in the sky the whole time, if things get to dicey give the word and we'll rain some fire down on them, bear in mind though our ordnance is more effective on land than in water though," leading the way to the hangar aboard the Omnipotence, they would take an elevator that took them down several floors, out the doors and down a long hallway that went for what felt like miles. When the doors to the hangar opened, one would feel as if they were standing in a field of metal, the hangar itself was likely a mile and a half long, several full sized war cruisers as well as many other fighters were docked, some returning and some leaving. The Omnipotence was so massive that it might as well have been considered a small moon or extremely large space station rather than a battle ship, truly a grand vessel, and with the recent capture of an Ikondan super destroyer nearly the same size, the fleet was only growing. Leading the way to a ship that both had seen before, The Megalomania, Cam's personal war cruiser he had used before the Omnipotence had become his, it was clean, sleek, and updated with the most recent weapons and technology that the Crusher Corp had to offer. A crew had been assembled outside the ship standing in formation--thirty officers and ensigns to command the ship and Lieutenant Coca standing at the front of them all, one of Cam's most trusted advisers, she stepped forward and nodded toward Colla, though her gaze was sharp and unwelcoming towards the Saiyan, "Colla," she said through nearly gritted teeth before looking towards Absolut, "Ah, the prodigy child. Glad to be working with you again," She then turned to face the Namekian, offering a gloved hand to shake in greetings, "And you must be Faller. I've heard a lot about you Namekians, all good things. It'll be exciting to see one of you in action," shifting around she ordered, "Platoons seven and eight, at attention, the rest of you may start boarding the ship." Our heroes would be able to watch as many of the people assembled began filling onto the ship, about half of who was there, the other half remained, and unlike the pilots and ensigns, these men and women looked like warriors, decked out in battle armor emblazoned with the Crusher Corp insignia. They were a mixture of every race and creed, some wore scouters and assault weapons and some shirked them, able to detect and generate energy without a need for such tools, but all were effective, it seemed the Emperor hadn't left them high and dry, if Absolut and Faller detected their power levels they would be able to detect an average sitting somewhere between two and three thousand, some bore the scars of battle while others looked fresh, but all were ready for a fight. "Shall we get this over with then?" Colla asked, even though she likely wouldn't get to fight initially, once a base was established she would be sure to touch down on the ground.

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil Technology. Technology is the answer. That's what Absolut had figured as soon as he heard that the mission will be on Ikonda, actually. His mission alongside Mr. Cam and that odd female Earthling ( Cassava) alongside the Saiyans, the Crusher Corps and Colla in that unfinished Ikondan cruiser informed him as much - the Ikondans were a species which relied on advanced technology to keep up with the raw power of the Kabochans and the Saiyans. And they clearly had enough of an affinity to science, too. Hell, Cam even infomed him and Faller to not get captured while on the mission, because otherwise, the aliens would certainly take them to a lab to bisect them and learn more about this peculiar species which had just come to visit. Absolut gulped at the thought of such a prospect. That would probably be... the second worst way to die. Especially if they don't even put you to sleep beforehand and you have to watch the dissection of your body with your own eyes. The young Frost Demon shook his head to rid it of the thought. Mr. Cam departed with the mission command, leaving both him and the Namekian in the hands of Colla. Colla. Why is Colla still around? Absolut had no clue. She is Supreme Commander Onyon's daughter, correct? Why would she ever stay with Mr. Cam instead of returning to her home planet after the mission in the orbit of Ikonda had been completed? Absolut was sure that he was missing some context here, but he decided not to question it. Instead, the discussion moved on to travelling to the gigantic ship Omnipotence, the newest jewel in the crown of the Emperor of Kabocha. They didn't actually board it, though - their target was Cam's old, though still large and powerful vessel, the Megalomania, where Lieutenant Coca greeted Absolut, Colla and Faller. The young Frost Demon had met Coca a few times before. Most notably during the battle for Kabocha, where he, alongside Duria, suddenly stormed into Absolut's room and told him to suppress his energy as much as possible to make sure his father, who joined Cam's side in that battle for whatever reason, doesn't find out about his presence. Thankfully, he wasn't here to inform the Frost Demon about any hiding or incoming furious Emperors - he merely complimented Absolut about his growing strength and prodigy status, and moved on to Faller. Being called a 'prodigy' or a 'rising star' always made Absolut feel a little weird inside. He didn't feel all that much different from what he was like in the Galactic Patrol, after all. Sure, he had grown considerably stronger and his technique has become significantly more refined, but was it really all that much different from all the other powerful fighters across the Galaxy who are growing in parallel to him? The Frost Demon just nodded, however. There wasn't really any time to go into a rebuttal or a debate - everyone was already boarding the ship and so was him. The absolute majority of the assorted Xeno soldiers marching in were significantly weaker than either him or the Namekian - however, the teenager could tell that even in this recon mission, numbers may be necessary to gain a needed advantage. So he didn't protest or comment on it. Colla raised the question whether they're ready to get this over with. An energy construct rapier formed in Absolut's right hand, with a thin blue glow around it, and the young Frost Demon replied: "I'm ready." (597 words, total 1062)

Faller listened to Cam's brief about the Ikondan mission. He observed and read the holomap of last known reports of the land and how the Ikondans were able to remove all who invaded their land swiftly. Faller spoke to himself in mind. ""Technology". Something that is able to have long reach scans from beneath a mass ocean is something abnormal, but can't be impossible to find with our power sensing. Guess I'll have to lead these people with my heightened senses and ways to be tactical with it, should we come into trouble. We may be able to outsmart them.""As the briefing ended and being escorted by Colla to the hanger, Faller felt... Odd. Most people looked and acknowledged Faller as if he was an old friend, trusting him. Giving him a sound amount of respect. Faller didn't know how to take this. He was more or less, used to people looking down upon him. Scolding his race as inferior and believing him to be weak. Not to mention, the person escorting him and Absolut being a Saiyan, Faller held himself in restraint to not burst in anger to this, having to accept orders from a Saiyan did not please the Namekian. Upon entering the hanger Faller looked at the many ships in it. It also contained many soldiers, or marines for this task. Faller recognized a few of them as the ones who escorted Faller to the bridge. It appeared that these trained troopers would be those under his and Absolut's command. As Lieutenant Coca introduced herself to Faller, she was quite generous to the Namek Warrior. Despite never meeting one another before. "Uhm. T-Thank you. I appreciate your compliments." Faller was never prepared for such respect from those he never worked with before. But he was grateful. He didn't intend on failing. As the soldiers began boarding a gunship, Faller was given a Scouter by a Technician. He also gave one to Absolut. But Faller simply put the Scouter in one of his pockets, not feeling he needs it. Yet. But it is clear that the Crusher Corps is covering a lot of bases with this mission. It is however, what they do not know that worries them, and that is why the Frost Demon and the Namekian are sent to find out what. As the soldiers finished boarding, Faller and Absolut were not far behind. They took their seats but Faller ensured that he sat next to Absolut. He had some words for the young Frost Demon. Words that he'd hope that Absolut would take to heart and understand. "Listen to me, and do exactly as I say..." Faller looked down on the teenager. Only with a stern look. "We don't know what we're getting into. As far as we know, the Ikondan's will try to kill us before we can fight. You and me... We're the strongest onboard this thing. With their enhanced scanning abilities, I think they will send a amount of men to stop us, because of you and me. Not these troopers." Faller could sense the soldiers looking at him, worried that they will indeed die, because they know they are simply not strong enough for either Faller or Absolut. "So, I suggest we use their technology against them. Suppress your Power Level Absolut. Let us make them think, we are a weak and naive force. So they may send a small, weak party against us. All reports of this planet, were met with hostile attacks almost instantly. But why? Because they were not prepared. We are. I can find their cities if you follow my lead young one. I'll get you out of this alive."Faller smiled at Absolut, hoping to get a word out of him that he understood what is soon to happen. He meant what he said to him, as he was already suppressing his own Power Level before they took off into space. WC: 656 / TWC: 1,620 Cam Emperor Absolut

It was an unfortunate thing to make assumptions about Ikondans, as a species they were quite clever and augmented to fight, though even on the surface of Ikonda it was rare to see an Ikondan. Even before the ship landed, the Ikondan Collective would know invaders had come, space debris--anything larger than a soft ball floating around the planet, was outfitted with sensors to detect the passage of ships coming, so when the Megalomania arrived in orbit over the planet, the Ikondans knew. There was no reaction though. No ship there to stop them, no guns to fire on them. Such things weren't needed for how the Ikondans defended their homeworld. Every person on the ship might think they had just arrived on a paradise itself though, the planet was untouched, its resources mostly untapped, or so it would seem. A lush jungle world, this was a world with no manufactured pollution, no over fishing or hunting of animals to the point of extinction, a world where plants and animals were allowed to grow with abandon that made it all the more desirable to those who wanted it. Initial scans for life lit screens up like Christmas trees, sweeps for minerals, clean water, lumber, just about everything a rising empire needed were there and there in excess. The Ikondans had been custodians of the planet since they existed and the surface of the world was a lush paradise, though this was already known across the galaxy to those who knew about Ikonda. What else was known, was that few ships ever returned from the planet, no matter how well armed. Faller and Absolut were about to make history. Faller and Absolut would be introduced to their respective commands, each holding a mixture of xenos though the sergeant for each would approach the Namekian and Frost demon, "Faller. I'm Sergeant Leatha," A pragmatic looking horned, blue skinned xeno male would announce, "Just give the orders when we're on the surface I'll make sure my men follow them," He said snapping a crisp salute. This sergeant didn't seem to carry any sort of weapon, more than capable with his use of ki. In contrast a smaller, robotic looking creature would approach absolut, it didn't appear to have a face so much as three cameras that acted as eyes stacked on top of each other that made up a cylindrical head, "Absolut," a deep male voice came out of of the robotic entity, "I'm Sergeant Sudae. We have your back, just gotta give the order. We'll show you both to the armory then to the hangar. I doubt they'll let this cruiser touch ground until we give the all clear." The reality was that Sergeant Sudae was a very, very small xeno species that was highly technological, inside the chest of the robot that addressed Absolut was a being close to an arthropod, not unlike an octopus, somehow this species had fashioned metal suits akin to mechs that allowed them to explore and leave their home world as well as do battle, that was evident by this robots four arms, two with blades attached and two with blasters attached. Indeed they would be taken to the armory where Colla would intercept them. The Saiyan looking peeved about something, "Right. The plan is this: You'll all be going down in stealth attack pods, we'll make something of a scene with this war cruiser to keep attention off of you all. I suggest that you deploy into the oceans, if the Ikondans have technology that can wipe the surface clean they likely can't use it that close to their own cities. Find us a spot we can land this cruiser in the water and find out what you can about their defenses down there. We're all counting on you," Colla smiled tersely at the pair, "No pressure. We're dropping in five."

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil
After Absolut's confirmation that he is ready for the mission, Faller suddenly pulled him in, apparently having something to say for the young Frost Demon. The Namekian explained that they don't have a clue what they're getting into - which is something Absolut had already realized beforehand, due to Cam being really vague on what the reason behind all the Kabochan landings disappearing actually is. And then requested that the Frost Demon, much like him, suppresses his power level so they could trick the Ikondans into believing that the force they're fighting is considerably weaker than it actually is. In response, Absolut gave a nod and spoke:
"I-of course, that makes sense!"
He had already been suppressed, for the most part. That's a lesson Duria taught him - don't flaunt your entire power level around, it drains your energy in the long term and it attracts opponents you might not be able to take down. So right now, the young Frost Demon was at a safe and steady 10 thousand - with a few deep breaths and calming down his ki, he lowered that numbered even more, to a mere five thousand. Enough to not get instantly noticed among all the Kabochan soldiers following them.
With that little problem dealt with, the conversation moved on to introducing both of the warriors to their respective commands. The fact that Absolut, who wasn't even old enough to legally drive a spaceship on his own, was now going to be responsible for a dozen lives and have to command them in battle, was still... shocking, but it's something the Frost Demon would have to learn to live with. The commander of the unit who introduced himself to Absolut as Sergeant Sudae was a robotic looking creature with a living energy signature coming from inside. The teenager would have loved to just tell him that he delegates complete control to the command back to him, just so he wouldn't have to deal with the pressure himself, but he decided to keep his mouth shut. With that brief introduction done, the leader of the squad led Absolut towards the armory - once they arrived there, however, they were intercepted by Colla once again, who opened up by explaining the basic plan of operations for this mission. They'll all be going down in stealth attack pods, deploy in the water and find a place for the cruiser to land.
No pressure, huh?
Well it's easy for you to say, Saiyan, with your bottomless power and all that! Absolut was still stuck in his initial weakling psyche, even if he was far from a weakling by a long shot. With the news that they're dropping soon, however, Absolut took a deep breath, turned to his squad and spoke:
"Right, if we're dropping, then we're dropping. Let's go!"

Fa;;er smiled when he saw the young Frost Demon nod. He even felt the boy's power lowering. Though he does hope his plan is not in vain and that it may very well work against the Ikondans. Faller then looked out the gunships windows. Seeing the oceanic planet, getting feel of how it looks before touching down. The Namekian thought to himself that if this planet is composed of just water, he will have no problem as his race regularly drinks water as a diet and thus can breathe underwater with no issue whatsoever. As they kept descending and moving towards the planet, Faller spoke to himself. "Aree my brother. I don't know if you can hear me still. Heck I don't even know if you're still in my mind. But if you are still there. I can only hope you will be my guide through this mess. I miss you brother. I miss our family..."After a moment of complete silence Faller was introduced to Sergeant Leatha, his trooper commanding officer. This Xeno was different than the rest, he had no weapon equipped but he did have a higher energy reading than the others in his company. It seemed as if that his weapon was his Ki. Faller was indeed impressed. Before Faller could respond to the Sergeant, Lieutenant Colla informed us what we are likely to run into and our point of landing. That the fact their cities are under water, and that the sea is our advantage. "Dropping in five" and that was when Faller moved and walked back towards the area where all the troops were. He then turned to Leatha. "Well Sergeant, I'm sure your awaiting my first order? And it is this. Tell the troops, to follow my pod." As Faller entered his Attack Pod and as he sat in its chair, he saluted to Leatha. Signifying his momentary trust to the Xeno. Faller did indeed trusted his Xeno companion, he may need all the help they can help him with. WC 338 / TWC 1,958 Cam Emperor Absolut

Escorted to a launch room at the aft of the war cruiser they were on, rows of attack pods sat open, ready to deploy at a moment's notice. Soldiers filed in and stepped into their various attack pods, the hype for a fight was evident among the soldiers. Two large, armored bruisers that looked like Beppans seemed to juke each other with their shoulders, one slapping the other before said slap was returned, and a mutual chest bump was exchanged with a hearty grunt. Sudae sat down, his body folding in tightly after being strapped in. Many of the other xeno's stowing their anti-material rifles alongside them in their pods, "Sync scouters," Leatha ordered, though both squads followed the order, doors shutting, "Redu, I'm good to go," one xeno replied, "Hyde, ready when you are," apparently one of these xenos was an android when they spoke thier names, "FR-1267, cleared for launch," on and on it went, once Faller and Absolut had synced up the launch would be ready to go. A pair of technicians would go down the rows of pods, making sure each door was sealed before a thumbs up was given, "Launching in five, four, three, two, one," the pods would drop. Some tried to set their pods into a spiral--it was much like spinning an inner-tube one would use to sled down a snowy hill, purely meant for style and fun. The pods began their descent, aimed for a natural harbor that connected to a river delta, a spot that was thought to be safe to land, as no Ikondan structures would be built that close to the shoreline. Inside each pod every xeno that relied on air would find a small survivor kit, equipped with medical tools and supplies, as well as extra anti-material ammunition, along with a pair of grenades, one explosive and another a stunning grenade that not only set off like a flash bang, but off let loose an electro-magnetic pulse that interfered with electronics. Each pod was nearly in free fall the whole time until they got a certain distance from the coppery green sea water they would land in, repulsors kicking in that slowed the pods down before they impacted into the water and began to sink to the bottom, "Everyone alright?" A voice, presumably Sudae asked over the scouter communication, "All clear here," cam one voice before another, sinking to the bottom each pod would open. They had made landfall, so to speak.
Inside the Ikondan Collective Sensor arrays had indeed detected the ship that was coming in; what perplexed the Ikondans was that it was only one ship. It wasn't a stealth ship or outrunner at that either, "Give us a visual," The Ikondan Commander ordered, from a nearby meteoroid a small nano-camera was able to give a bird's eye view of both the planet and a cruiser. Along one side of it, an insignia of the Crusher Corp along the side of the ship could be seen, "Crusher Corp. They attacked us along with the Saiyans. An Incursion, perhaps a scouting party. Dispatch arm seven to intercept." "Sir, look." On the screen that was providing a feed, the Ikondans watched as wave after wave of attack pods launched, though each pod would disappear after being launched, courtesy of Meiku's advent of a new stealth technology. Ikondan tech couldn't scan for the pods as they descended, "Triangulate. Use their tradjectory. Dispatch arm seven." Neither Absolut nor Faller knew it, but they had awoken a sleeping giant, though currently they were at the bottom of a deep green ocean, their mission before them, how the pair moved forward could determine a lot.

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil
They're waiting for you to synchronize your launch before they can land.
"A-Absolut, I'm ready for launch!" the young Frost Demon, sitting in his landing pod, exclaimed into scouter communications upon realizing that request - the pods all collectively shot out of the cruiser and began speeding towards the atmosphere soon after. Clenching onto the seat and closing his eyes out of fright - after all, this was pretty much the first time he even got to ride an Attack Ball, and the thought of being closed in a sphere as large as you and relying upon it to travel across hundreds of kilometers of space in mere minutes was not easy to bear - Absolut waited out the flight, and soon the dozens of space pods landed on the surface of Planet Ikonda in unison.
The door of the pod opened with a shuttering sound and the young Frost Demon stepped out, greeted by the lush, tropical landscape of the shallow sea, with weeds, sand and a massive sea all stretching up to the horizon.
Unlike most of the other soldiers in his unit, Absolut did not have any supplies like survivor's kits or oxygen packs in his landing pod - as a Frost Demon, he did not rely on air to survive, and thus could just as easily survive in water as he could in the atmosphere or outside it. The only thing of value that Absolut picked up was his scouter, which he placed onto his left ear and pressed a few buttons on it. The crude map of Ikonda's surface which the scouter had loaded up showed that its bearer was currently located near the shores of one of the planet's mighty oceans, at a natural harbor and close to a river delta - alright, that makes sense, they'll probably have to dive deeper to the ocean, not infiltrate the surface, after all.
The same scouter soon blared to life, which gave Absolut the right idea to turn off the sounds which the gadget released upon receiving new information beforehand. The transmission was sent by Sergeant Sudae, asking if everyone was alright, and soon receiving responses from the soldiers.
"I'm alright as well," Absolut muttered into the communications. But he couldn't really see the rest of his unit, however. That's not as good. The young Frost Demon raised his right index finger and formed a flash of non-blinding light above its tip, as a beacon for any soldiers in the vicinity. "Can you see me?"

As Faller finished his salute to his Xeno companion, the pod's door shut. Encasing oxygen and turned on a blue light so Faller could see. Faller could hear commotion coming from his pocket, it was the scouter. He brought the scouter out then put his scouter on his head and pressed the radio button. He heard people calling their names out informing them they are ready to go. After Leatha replied that he is ready, Faller spoke. "Faller here. I'm ready. Let's do this." After Faller's response, there was a little silence before being informed what their objective is, where they are likely to land, and what may happen down on the planet. Faller closed his eyes as he listened carefully. The Namekian wanted to keep himself prepared for whatever will happen. After the final briefing Faller heard what sounded like ejections from the ship. The pods were launching. Soon it got to the Namekian's pod as well and he went flying down to the surface. It was a thunderous force pressing against his body, yet Faller sat comfortably in his seat. He didn't want to open his eyes for what is happening in space. But he could overhear troopers asking questions on the scouter. Faller did not respond however. Keeping quiet, as they all went towards the planet. Faller could feel the heat coming from the pod, as its entering atmosphere. As they kept descending down Faller only wondered why nothing is coming back at them. Why the Ikondans aren't firing back to maybe destroy the pods before they touch the surface. Then suddenly the pod Faller was in, stopped. The fast pace was met with complete stop. Faller opened his eyes and saw that he was now in the Ikondan ocean. Faller would've taken this time to admire the beauty of it, but he had a job to do. He pressed the radio button on his scouter. "To all my troopers. Hone in on my position. We're going down into the sea." After making that announcement Faller would sit in his pod until they arrived. He sat in it calmly. As the water was beginning to fill into the pod slowly. WC 363 / TWC 2,321 Cam Emperor Absolut

By all accounts things were going well. They had made it to the bottom of the Ikondan ocean near their mark, all of the squad members were accounted for as no one had died in the crash nor had they been injured. Sinking to the bottom, the murky water and depth quickly hid all natural light from the two platoons. Scouters flickered on, light in the dark that scared away creatures on the ocean. Fish and other, larger sea creatures could be seen maneuvering their ways though the depths of these murky waters. Everything was a weapon to the Ikondans, or played a roll in their collective on this planet. Monsters of the deep had tracking units, their movements reflected threats--if an animal started to display distressing behavior as though it were being attacked, they could tell if it were due to another animal or an outsider on that alone. Some creatures though were far more modified. Arm seven of the Collective was aquatic. Highly trained and programmed but rarely deployed. They had never failed in defending Ikonda's oceans from outsiders and that was in part due to their control. Each member of the team would see a topographical map on their scouters, displaying elevations of the sea floor. Sudae was the only one who could talk freely underwater, Leatha made several hand signals, "Looks like our scouters detect synthetic energy signatures, nearly ten kilometers to our south on the sea floor," though that wasn't all. Quickly, many, many small signals seemed to converge on a point not far from them, as well as several larger synthetic ki signatures. Though as the platoon moved they would find moving closer to the under water city didn't provoke an immediate response. At this point the collective made no attempt to hide that they were observing the cluster as the moved. sea creatures with cybernetic implants-fish with cameras on them, stopped to watch, some followed the cluster of foreign invaders and others simply swam by. One might swear they saw pairs of bright, glowing yellow eyes peeking out out them from behind rocks or in between long strands of kelp and seaweed. They were in the heart of the lion's den and they were either being played with, or studied. Perhaps both, "Steady as she goes all. They're planning something," the response had come from the Saiyan on the warship, Colla was watching the feeds. Her finger on a button that could help, the War cruiser poised to rain supporting hellfire down on the Ikondans if the group needed. Though in this case, it would be depth charges that would sink and explode. Suddenly, Sudae stopped, raising a mechanical hand for others to do the same, "Lock and load," Their voice able to be heard easily through the scouters, "Something's happening in front of us, keep eyes open and watch for enemy movements." Sudae did a decent job of controlling their anxiety and fear--the cephalopod knew underwater creature habit well enough to know that something big in front of them was starting to display the behavior of a hunter. Out from the murky depths came an impossibly large creature, looking either a massive eel or serpent. It's head alone was large enough to swallow a football field whole, the body went on for miles, the creature moved over them, one might think the sea couldn't get any darker at its depths, but beneath this creature, in its shadow so much more light was gone, one couldn't help but feel insignificant in the wake of such a colossal creature. "The way it moves... They have control of it," Sudae remarked. Indeed, as it neared closer, one could see yellow lights on the hide of the creature, it seemed almost to move more mechanical then it did fluidly, like a creature of the sea. In its wake were many creatures of the same ilk, about a dozen and a half, though none as big as the large creature they had witnessed. All of these creatures of the deep were moving their way. "Your call, Faller, Absolut. Run or shoot? Our guns are powerful but we can't take on that big thing by ourselves." The fight had come to them en force.

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil
The mission into the depths of the Ikondan ocean continues, Absolut trailing alongside the small swarm of scouter lights like a collection of fireflies flying through the darkness of the night. It wasn't actually night on the surface, of course, though Absolut didn't really get a chance to check, but because they were hundreds of meters below, there really wasn't much light to go around. Creatures of the Ikondan ocean fled from them in terror upon first sight, as if they had never witnessed a bright source of light before in their lives.
It was also cold. Really cold. As he swam forward alongside the rest of the squad, occassionally glancing at his scouter for any new information or the location of the artificial power level congregation which they were heading towards, Absolut started to shiver, rubbing his arms a little as he went. It is perhaps a little ironic that a 'Frost Demon', a member of a species often associated with the cold and ice, was feeling more uncomfortable with the cold waters than most of his men, but Absolut didn't really catch that.
Especially since far greater problems soon emerged from the horizon. This time, in the form of a giant sea monster appearing in the distance, so massive that it could easily swallow both of the squads whole and still have plenty of room, and yet appearing to be mechanical rather than a living being.
Aaah!
Was this... one of the things which the Ikondans used to protect themselves from invaders? It sure seems like it. If so, then they might be in a little bit of a... predicament - surely, this giant monster was designed to fight invaders much stronger than a teenage Frost Demon, a Namekian and some soldiers. Much like Sergeant Sudae explained, even if they had some heavy firepower behind their unit, it was not going to be enough to break this massive thing. With that in mind, fleeting might be the better option.
But... he is supposed to be a hero! Heroes don't waver even in the face of the greatest adversity! And they don't even know if they can escape from this monster, not when they have spent so much time waiting and watching it approach.
An energy construct rapier formed in Absolut's right hand, emitting enough light to leave a faint blue glow on the young Frost Demon's face and torso. Turning on his scouter communications, he spoke to Faller:
"I'd rather choose to stand our ground, Mr. Faller, but if you have a different plan, I can follow through with it."

After Faller relayed his message to his group of soldiers, there was immediate reply's. Many of them confirming the Namekian's order and started making their way towards his pod. While that happened, Faller sat rather uncomfortably in his pod, as it did fill up with water, filling it completely. However, Faller was Namekian and he could live with the water, and breathe with it encasing him. Whilst this was going on, Faller witnessed Absolut moving around with his group looking at the beauty that was the Ikondan ocean. In truth, it was remarkable. The ocean was purely clean and its life was varied and plentiful. But there was nothing that could be deemed as a threat to them. Yet. "Sir, theres Absolut with Sergeant Sundae, should we form up with them? We'd be stronger as a full unit." A soldier of Faller's group requested. He was a reddish Xeno but had a breathing apparatus. Though not a bad idea to be with Absolut, something was wrong. "No, not yet... Turn on your scouters and look for any unidentified personel. I'm getting this feeling... We are being watched." Faller was using his enhanced sensing to try to find any power level not close to him and the group, but could not find any. It was almost like the entire group was being observed. Suddenly the bottom floor was shaking, something massive came from the depths of the sea. A massive monster appeared in front of Absolut's group and was in their way. Quickly, Faller pressed a Self Destruct button in his pod. He would have a whole minute before it made a explosion bigger than the pod itself. He then opened his pod's door and flew out. He opened his communications with Absolut. "My pod Absolut, destroy my pod when I throw it at that monster's face. The fuel of it will make a explosion that it will lose its head!" Faller then acted and looked at his troops. "Fire at it! Get its attention!" As Faller swam toward his pod, he started to pick up the pod. There was thirty seconds before the explosion. The pod though was heavier than expected and Faller started to roar while his men aimed and fired at the beast. Some hoping they'd kill it before it got any closer to their friends. With fifteen seconds remaining, Faller held his attack pod above his head, he then hurled it at the monster, hoping that Absolut would be able to hit the pod with a attack, then neutralize the threat. Fighting foes that were the same size as you was one thing, fighting foes much larger and more powerful, designed to be entirely destructive? Those required thinking outside the box, luckily for them all, Faller had cooked up a solution, though it seems they wouldn't have to work hard to draw the attention of the colossal serpent, once Faller's squad began to open fire, Sudae would call out, "We've been exposed!" Some soldiers beginning to join the cacophony of fire that was muffled with the battle under the Ikondan sea. Sudae themselves charged forward, reaching a mechanical hand down to pull a grenade from a bandoleer, pressing a button on it the grenade began a countdown, "We're in this fight now--Look out, left side, left side!" Indeed those who looked to their left would see a squadron of sea creatures, much the same as they has seen before with the implants and augmentations, began to charge the group. Sudae hurled their grenade among a cluster of sea creatures, it exploded in a flash and viscera and blood of the flesh components of these creatures could be seen. Cam hadn't given them any slouches, that was for sure, both Absolut and Faller were leading seasoned warriors and it showed as very quickly, they began to kill their smaller competition, it was Leatha who understood what Faller was doing first, raising a hand to channel a ki bolt, "I got the shot if he doesn't, go for it though kid--Gah!" A creature latched down on Leatha's arm, the thrashing as it appeared to be a large grouper fish if some kind, "Sudae, shut your suit off!." Leatha ordered as he blew up the fish that had latched onto him before eliciting a wave of ki outward in all directions, it scrambling the electronic components of all the creatures around them, many stopped moving though many others thrashed and acted erratically, "That won't buy us a lot of time," Meanwhile Sudae's eyes had lost thier glow a moment before flickering back on. The four-armed robot regaining his stride, whirling like a dervish blaster fire and flashing blades cut through many of the downed creatures, that was until an arm got blown off them. Anti-material gunfire, Absolut was likely quite familiar with it given Cam's military employed the same kind of ammunition, it was a great equalizer when it came to fighting foes with high power levels. Sudae ducked down as the massive sea creature closed in, it appeared several squadrons of Ikondan warriors had detached from it and were speeding towards the two platoons trying to make their way across the sea floor, "Find some cover!" One corporal shouted to his fire-team. Curiously enough the giant sea serpent didn't appear to be closing in to eat them, rather it's mouth began to open, a bright yellow glow forming as it appeared to be charging up some kind of cannon fire that would likely erase all of them in one fell swoop if it was allowed to fire off, "Oh shit! Concentrate fire! Use grenades if you have them, we need to close that things jaw or blow its head off, now!" Regardless of what course of action that Absolut or Faller took, they needed to take it quick or they wouldn't exist for much longer.

Faller didn't even say whether he is going to fight or not. He just did. Suddenly charging forward and picking up his space pod while ordering Absolut to fire at it immediately when he lets go. Alright, so it looks like we are doing this now. A faint glow, blurry to anyone watching thanks to the flowing water around it, flashed into existence within the young Frost Demon's right hand, soon manifesting itself as an energy construct within his grasp. The ever so common and useful energy construct rapier, Absolut's primary weapon.
The battle started up almost immediately, Absolut and Faller's squadrons collectively drawing the giant incoming serpent's attention, only for them to suddenly get their hands full as well when a barrage of smaller, but faster and just as vicious sea creatures rushed in from the left. A close quarters battle began, blood, guts and blaster shots permeating the ocean around them. For a moment, Absolut wanted to join in on the battle in the flanks, help his allies in close range, where he was more comfortable, but Sudae's screams into their comms immediately reminded him of what his role was supposed to be in this battle - to blow up Faller's space pod.
The giant incoming serpent was acquiring more and more allies, several units of Ikondan warriors now detaching from it and heading their way. It perhaps would have been wise to expect that they will run into at least a few times when they're outnumbered during the mission, but Absolut certainly didn't anticipate it happening this quickly. Regardless, Absolut acted with instinct, and a brief plan of action formed up in his mind.
The Frost Demon raised his rapier, it suddenly transforming into something reminiscent of a sniper rifle, which the boy aimed forward and unleashed a series of ki shots towards the space pod Faller had just thrown towards the creature. Two missed and dissipated in the deep ocean. The third didn't.
A massive explosion soon followed.

Absolut's sniper shot blasted the pod and caused a massive explosion that erupted from the sea, all the way to the top. The shockwave from the seabed caused Faller to be flung backward. He grabbed onto a rock preventing him from going further. His men around him were flung harshly and further away. Save for Leatha who hid himself as the explosion erupted. Despite the heavy explosion, everyone around Faller was alright. Even his men who were seperated and scattered away were alive and relatively unharmed. As the force subsided, Faller took a look over his rock and saw that the large creature was indeed damaged. However it was alive. Swinging whatever left it had wildly. Faller took this opportunity to swim high above the field and put his index and middle fingers to his forehead and charged his Wrath Cannon attack. While charging, Faller was suddenly shot at from the West. Ikondan's surrounding the creature before had escaped the explosion and took shots at the Namekian. Faller had to dodge and evade the oncoming attacks. Faller contemplated unleashing his Wrath Cannon onto the Ikondan's below him, then Leatha and his troops began firing back at the Ikondan's. Forcing the Ikondan's to return fire at the Crusher Corps's finest. Faller soon finished charging his attack. "Well done Sergeant. Now we'll force them to flee. WRATH CANNON FIRE!!" Faller swung his charging arm at the beast aiming into the massive hole that was caused by the explosion and a emerald colored beam shot from his fingers. The beam was charged enough to penetrate and go through the monster to destroy it once and for all. WC: 274 / TWC 2,992 Cam Emperor Absolut

They had killed one creature. One large, mechanical creature. The lights along the giant metal serpent's body flickered on and off before the yellow glow flickered out entirely. "You all need to move," the authoritative voice over their scouter broadcast was Colla, "We'll cover your tracks from orbit as best we can, watch out for depth charges. They're gonna chase you. You need to make it to the nearest city and do the scans, otherwise this is a bust. Get it done." She ordered. Leatha and Sudae pushed forward, ordering thier men to do so, Faller had already lead the charge anyway. It seemed the only way out was going directly into the maw of these Ikondan warriors. It was then they lost their first two men--an explosion occurring behind them, if they were watching an ikondan anti-material grenade had gone off between two of the men, their had been a flash, then nothing. The men had been ripped apart instantly by the entropic force of the grenade, nothing at all was left of them, they had been there, then they hadn't. "Keep moving!" Sudae ordered, their enemies were closing in all around them. Those withing the leviathan serpent who had survived began to pile out. Sea creatures were moving in, and in the deeper, more far away shadows, more monolithic serpents could be seen moving in the darkness. "Get down!" Leatha ordered then. Detonations began all around them, the war Megalomania had come to thier aid. Anti-material cannons sheering one of the large serpents in the back down, depth charges sank in the ocean, exploding all around their location as a trail of charges was laid down, detonating, "We've cleared you a path, go!" Colla remarked. Beneath the ocean flashes could be seen, it quickly became messy, blood and viscera from creatures rising to the surface, "Eyes forward!" Leatha called as they began thier final push. They were close, many of the men simply opting to channel thier energy into flight at this point rather than running with their legs, though they couldn't go too fast, lest they run into their own depth charges. To say they had been saved from a quick death was certain, but to say that they were out of danger was entirely false, Ikondan forces were still rallying, but now they had to give chase rather than simply swamp the invaders. Looking back one would be able to see all the bright yellow eyes of Ikonda's inhabitants that were after them. The sensory network of Ikonda was somewhat frazzled due to all the explosions, they were still reeling, they knew what had gone on but they didn't know whether these troops along with Faller and Absolut had been caught in the explosion. Interestingly enough though, with all the blood in the water, shark-like creatures that hadn't been cybernetically enchanced appeared to be picking the oceans clean now. Absolut and Faller would be able to watch as a pack of these alien sharks tore at the dead and dying creatures that had been hurt in the depth charge's blasts, "Don't piss those things off," Leatha ordered, "Keep moving! We're less than two clicks away!"

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil
The sniper shot was immediately followed by a powerful explosion and much like everything else in its general vicinity, the young Frost Demon saw himself flung away. The energy construct sniper in his hands soon morphed again, additional ki poured into it to have it increase in side, turning into something slightly resembling a parachute, helping Absolut slow down his movement as well as protect himself from the stray energy and heat of the explosion. Absolut soon hid behind a rock much like most of his peers, peeking out to watch the end of the fight - Faller finished off the gigantic mechanical monstrosity with an energy beam, impaling it, and soon orders arrived to push forward. They destroyed one of the defending monsters, but there were plenty more, and they were here to infiltrate Ikonda, not rush in and mow down everything in sight.
Most of the energy construct in Absolut's hands dissipated, leaving behind only a small piece which the young Frost Demon grabbed onto and instantly morphed into a rapier, swimming forward to get back into the squad's formation. Thankfully, despite the battle raging all around them, all of the Kabochans, as well as Absolut and Faller, were alive and well-
"No!"
They just lost two. Two of the people Absolut was supposed to protect just died to a disintegrating explosion pretty much in front of his eyes. He couldn't just watch and keep moving if they're trying to pick them off one by one! Sudae ordered the young Frost Demon, as well as the rest of the unit, to keep moving regardless, but despite that, Absolut offered at least symbolic resistance, the rapier briefly morphing into an energy pistol and unloading a few shots on the Ikondans trailing after them. It was hard to tell if those blasts even reached anyone or if they dissipated in the dense cold waters, because soon after, it started to rain Hell.
Or, less poetically, charges dropped down by the warship Megalomania, killing one Ikondan after the other while the Kabochan unit pushed forward through all the destruction happening between them. Blood, strewn organs, viscera floated around them. Absolut, doing his best to not throw up while on mission, covered his eyes as he pushed forward, guiding himself according to the power levels and flashing lights in front of him.
As well as all the screaming which was being sent directly into his scouter, of course. Man, these people really love to scream.
"Do we know how long we still have to go?" Absolut raised a question through the scouter communications.
